This is the second pair of these shoes that I own. The others are at least 3 years old and I still wear them very frequently. Love the cork soles.

This shoe runs true to size and width. Loved the animal print but it was too narrow as my one toe was hanging up on the ridged edge. Not a C width!

I love how Mephistos fit and feel on my long narrow feet. The arch support is great for a sandal and the footbed molds to foot. I absolutley love these. I was also so happy to find the snazzy silvery gray/black color. They are worth every penny.

I am always a size 9. These shoes didn't fit the criteria that is plainly written on the inside of the box. I'll have to reorder a size 10. Grrr.

Zappos is that site where my ideals become reality. I can find just exactly what I want and need and it arrives at my door almost as soon as I push the send button on my email. If I don't like it or wasn't sure of the size it is picked up and credited just as fast and efficiently. I ordered this Hannel, tried it on and have lived in it ever since. Thank you Zappos.

I have ordered from Zappos for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with their service. This is my fifth pair of the Mephisto Hannel sandals I have ordered. Love, love, love them. They have excellent support, especially if you have any type of heel problems.

Hannel is my go-to shoe every day - it never goes into the closet. Absolute comfort and stylish for this type of shoe. Other women have come up to me to ask about them. A couple of years ago I ruptured a tendon as a result of some expensive shoes that did not have great arch support. After 5 weeks in a walking cast my foot doctor said I could graduate into these sandals, because they provide such outstanding support.

This is my second pair of Mephistos. I ordered them for a trip to France. I placed my order on Saturday, they were shipped for free and even upgraded shipping and arrived on Tuesday morning. They were fabulous walking sandals in France. I wore them every day and we walked everywhere. They were also handy on the plane back and forth as my feet tend to swell a little and I could adjust them. I should add I do not have great feet. These shoes rock. I love Zappos.

I have been wearing Mephisto sandals for years. I normally buy the Heidi model. The Hannel model has a bit more style with the same foot bed and arch support.

Mephisto's have been my sandal of choice for the last 25 years. The Hannel feels incredible. I do not care for the new foot bed. It is very uncomfortable, and I think looks cheap. Let's hope for new styles in the old tradition that has kept me coming back for 25 years! I wish they would bring back some of their original styles. Mephisto's are worth every penny and are keeping my 54 year old legs and feet very happy.

Comfy right out of the box. The adjustable straps are perfect for my high arch, narrow feet. Very cute shoes.

Love this sandal! I have narrow feet and can adjust these so they fit perfectly.Great arch support and very sturdy for a sandal. This is my second pair in 4 years. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Fantastic sandal. Excellent support. I overpronate and was suffering from tibial tendinitis in both feet. Only sandal I can wear without orthotics. I wear a B width in shoes. These sandals, I found ran slightly narrow, but did stretch over time.

A definite "must have" for anyone looking for comfort with a twist of style. I have been contemplating on these sandals for quite a while, and decided to purchase them before going on vacation. I have no regarets whatsoever. They arrived the day before we left, and they were the only shoes that I wore while vacationing. A little on the high side for cost but you will not regret it.

I love these shoes! Lots of arch support. The upper strap is high enough up the foot that I never feel as though the sandal will fall off. Just got back from a vacation with lots of walking. The nubuck did stretch out a bit and I'm taking the shoes in to have one more hole punched so I can further tighten the straps. I highly recommend these shoes for their comfort and their earthy look.

These shoes are beautiful and have excellent arch support. If you have a wider foot, the straps allow for some extra room which is great. I love the multi-colored (leopard-snake-skin) appearance. It's elegant and steps up the appearance to add some zing to any outfit!

This sandal was recommended online for plantar fasciitis and I have found them comfortable and not causing any heel pain. Not sure I would walk a long distance in them but have spent most of a day wearing them.

Great all-purpose sandal - Great, super supportive sandal that can look good with everything. I've been wearing Mephisto for 12 years and can't say enough about them. I also like how all the sandals that begin with the same letter have the same footbed. All the "H"s (Hannel, Helen, Heidi) all fit the same. The do run a smidge big if you ask me. Strangely, they didn't use to. Twelve years ago I was a perfect 5 and now I found it a bit on the long side. I put this new Hannel up against my old ones and there is a difference.

Great shoe for problem feet! I've previously worn Birkenstock sandals and had been looking for a new style and color when I came across these. They give me the same great arch support, especially for pronation, and the lining is very soft and comfortable. Kind of an 'aahhhh' feeling when I put them on! If you like the fit of Birkenstock Granada, you'll like these.

Having several other Mephisto shoes/sandals, I first ordered this and the Black Cuba/Waxy style in my usual size. However, those sandals had to be returned since my toes hit the top of the foot bed edge. Unfortunately, the ankle strap also was especially stiff and aggravated a bone spur located in about that same area. Thus, this sandal had to be returned.

Like orthopedic old lady shoes from Soviet era Russia. The color I ordered (taupe?) didn't help.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I’ve been wearing them for 15+ years… I always have 2 new pair in my closet ready to go!

Love, love these sandals!! I can't wear Birkenstocks and these work great for me. Will definitely be buying again.
