I love this sandal! I have had a black pair for 2-3 years and they are my favorite, comfy sandal. I can walk all day in them at work or on vacation. They are a little pricey, but they have held up well. This time I got the red ones (chianti) and the color is great, kind of a dark red/burgundy.

I have several pair of Mephisto sandals and I love them. They are a little narrower than Birkenstocks and have a much softer footbed. This is my second pair of Hannel style which are excellent for my very narrow feet, 4A. And as always, Zappos is the best Internet shoe supplier in the country!

I have wide feet and need shoes with arch support. Mephisto Hannel sandals are stylish and comfortable and provide superb arch support.

Truly comfortable sandals that look dressy enough to wear to work or out to dinner. Liked them so much I bought a white pair too.

I have a lot of trouble with my feet and usually have to stick to Asics tennis shoes if I'm going to do any walking. However, I wanted something cute to wear while touring in Europe. These sandals are it! I walked miles a day and had absolutely no problems. They are really comfy with an arch support. And they are cute enough to wear with capris or really casual skirt & t-shirt. I have bought a 2nd pair for back-ups for when I wear the first pair out (although they are rugged too!). The straps don't rub either. I broke them in for about an hour total on a treadmill before the trip and never had a rub or ache!

By far, the MOST comfortable shoes I own. I have\r\nother Mephisto shoes and these are the best for me as I have narrow feet and painful pressure points on the bottom of my feet. These adjustable straps and the molded foot bottom take care of these issues like no other. The nubuck color is versatile and a great neutral shade.

I love these sandals! I have them in black nubuck and dark brown scratch. I am hoping they will get the black patent in my size and I will get those as well. I also like the style very much as I have a large foot and the multiple straps help make my feet look smaller. I also have foot some problems so the cushion in the sole is very nice. With this brand I always have to order 1 size larger.

I love these shoes! I bought them after searching reviews on Zappos and elsewhere, but Zappos is so easy to do! These were perfect for walking and riding the subways in New York City for a week! They have a lot of support, did not rub anywhere and my feet were happy! They did get wet due to a downpour one afternoon; I just let them dry overnight and they were fine the next day. Also, do order a size up as recommended, I wear a 7&1/2 or 8, the 39 or 9 was perfect, you need that little room in the toes. I like the brand so much, I may buy another pair in a different style!

These shoes have incredible support, and the heavily padded insole is soft, flexible, and extremely comfortable. The style is quite feminine and flattering to my feet, despite it's comfort shoe category. Highly quality construction, highly recommended.

I absolutely love the shoes. Best shoes that I have purchased in a long time. I hope you continue to carry this line and this style. Great for walking and need all the color selections. I have had lots of feet problems lately and have not been able to find anything that helped my feet. These are great. I am wearing them everyday and just wore them while taking a vacation with lots of walking tours.

Finally found the arch support I need, excellent. I own 2 pairs now (black patent and beige). I wear size 11 and these are the only two colors that have size 11 at this time. I would buy other colors and I will check back from time to time when they will be available.

This is an extremely comfortable sandal. I wear them constantly in the summer and indoors with socks in the winter. I have young kids and wanted one shoe that would work at the park and other excursions, but could also be worn out to dinner or a nicer venue without looking sloppy. I have a high arch and this gives me the support I need. They are expensive, but I simply cannot find another shoe that gives me such nice support. I wouldn't mind the price if they lasted longer than a year, but for me, they do not. I do wear them constantly, though. My feet are still happy at the end of my busy days chasing two youngsters around.

My husband and I travel a great deal and this is the best walking sandal I've ever had. Unfortunately I've had plantar fasciitis and a few other foot problems but this shoe molds to my feet really well and even with narrow feet, the straps allow me to tighten the shoes enough to fit my foot properly. I bought my first pair 3 years ago and would still be wearing them if our new puppy hadn't chewed the strap off one of them. After that disaster, I ordered a new pair the next day because I can't live without these shoes (or the puppy).

I love these shoes! If you have high arches and need support, this shoe might be for you. I can't go barefoot, so I even wear them around the house. They are pretty good for walking a lot as well. I am disappointed because I think they have discontinued this style. They really are comfortable.

Great summer sandal a very comfortable footbed. Stylish enough to wear with a casual skirt. Fits true to size.

As unbelievable as it sounds, my arthritic hip and knee have felt better since I started wearing these shoes. They apparently give me the support I need and keep my feel aligned properly. I plan to order another pair.

I travel a lot for business and I needed a shoe that I could wear to hike through endless miles of airports so I gave this shoe a try. I have worn Birkenstocks for years, but I have to say that this shoe is so much better! The footbed is much more comfortable, the shoe is much more stylish, and it was true to size for me. I think I have been converted from Birkenstocks to Mephisto.
