Just received my Durango City boots and slipped them on. The reviews I found recommended ordering a 1/2 size down and they were spot on! I usually wear 7, ordered 6.5, they're perfect with a light sock. I love them right outa the box. The medium width is fine, I have moderately wide feet. The color is as stated, leather quality is very good. The shaft is close to the calf, which I prefer, because they'll look great with anything from jeans to shorts!

I bought these after trying on that "other" brand and I am so happy I didn't fall for the expensive and less comfortable Frye...opps, just had to leak that! These black harnesse .boots are so comfortable and the leather lining terrifically smooth and sturdy, beefy soles

These are beautiful boots. Unfortunately the shaft is too narrow for my calves. Im so sad because the foot bed is super comfortable. I will have to return them. Im so disappointed. It seems so difficult to find harness boots with wider shafts too.

This is a decent boot. Pretty well made though I got a good discount. Full price is too much given the quality. They run really large. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe. Bought these in an 8 and they are still big. I get rubbing in the heel without two pairs of thick socks. The one thing that really bugs me is they stuck a plastic tag through the leather of the shaft and it left a hole in the shaft. Who does that? The hanging tags attached with a string was fine - you don't need to puncture the shaft.

I was looking for harness boots and tried a few brands, but some brands were uncomfortable. Fryes are too narrow, X element were too hard, etc.... Then I tried these and found them to be very comfortable. They do run 1/2 size large, so I could wear 1/2 size smaller than my normal size. The color and style is right on, love the brown ones! and I like how they are not too wide in the shaft, but fit close to the leg. But I was sad that they were so short.... Frye has 12 R and 15 R for example, 12" and 15 ' tall shaft, but the women's boots are too narrow for the normal human foot. I was hoping that Durango might recreate this style in a taller style? I am sure there would be a lot of sales b/c I read reviews in which people expressed this same thing! Otherwise, very nice boots!

Love these boots, true to the size, wished the leather was shiny, love the brown, just wished it would come in an oiled version. I used mink oil and it darkened them, but to a very nice neutral dark brown. Added the custom made orthotics and I'm wearing and working in them 8-11 hrs a day. Hope to keep them a long time.

I've worn these boots about 4-5 times. They're great in the rain, on the weekends and I even wear them to work. They're pretty comfortable for such a durable boot. I only wish their was a little more padding in the sole especially where the heel meets the arch/instep.

I love theses boots but make sure your feet are very narrow and you can point your toes to get them on.

I bought these boots last month. They are super comfortable. My feet are very picky, but these boots pass the test. Also, for the style, Durango boots cost half as much help as another brand and I see no difference in quality. I highly recommend them!

I have two pairs of these and love them, but both times have found that straight out of the box they are too narrow at the top. Seems like they should be cut out more to accommodate calves. That being said, they do break in nicely over time.

These are high quality boots. I'm still happy that I bought them however, they are going to take some time to break in. The size was perfect in lenghth but a bit narrow at the widest part of mt foot and I have skinny feet. Otherwise they would have gotten a higher rating.

The inside sole of the right boot isn't even and hurts the bottom of my foot
