Great boot. I initially ordered the Frye Harness. It was a splurge and I was so excited. Very disappointed when the came. Color was off and they were so uncomfortable. Very surprising considering all the great reviews. Then ordered the Durango and have been thrilled. Color, fit and quality of workmanship is great.

I love my Durango Harness boots. I usually wear size 9 in other brands, but had to get these in an 8. Fit perfectly. In addition to being very happy with the boots (kudos Durango!), I am happy to recommend Zappos to anyone who is planning to order footwear on line. Zappos customer service, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction are exceptional.

Sizing is way off. Left boot was much larger than right. Size 9 1/2 was way too big and I couldn't even fit my foot in the shaft of the size 9.

These durangos are very nice high quality boots and a very good solid sole..pretty box they come in...they do run a little big or they just feel roomy...a good boot for winter with a thick sock.not going to trade in for size smaller...a good thick sock..sock boots..keepers..the box is so pretty..going to keep box...first pair of durango's..any girl would be happy to open a pretty box with these beauties in it...money spent well..actually now that i am walking around in them right this min they feel comfortable..true to size...i am not a firm 8.5 i always order 8.5 and all my 8.5 footwear i have wiggle room..i think my toe would be pushed up to the tip of the boot in a size 8..8.5 is good...i like a little wiggle room...

I agree with other reviewers that these are comfortable boots. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in boots so I can wear thicker socks, but the 9 fit well. My only negative about them is that they are fairly heavy and the leather is stiff so I wasn't sure how well they would conform to my feet. Also, since I have flat feet and a very low instep I needed to put a partial insert in them to keep my feet from sliding around too much in the heel and that helped tremendously. I wore them for several hours and no problems at all. They are just a tad on the narrow side in the toe area, but after wearing them for a while, it was not an issue. Definitely more comfortable than Frye boots. I'm glad I decided to keep these great looking boots!

Ok, after pining over the Frye harness, longing to someday afford them, I stumbled upon these and I'm SO glad I did! They are just what I wanted. They do run big but I put a nice comfortable insole in them and voila problem solved. I would have ordered a 5 (normally a 6) if that had been an option. After wearing these a bunch, I had the opportunity to try on the Frye version and ultimately I decided the Durango is far more comfortable because of the wider toe box, has a more flattering look because of the cut-out at the top of the boot, and as far as quality the Durango surpasses the Frye in my opinion. Sorry not sorry! For the price I paid to have this version I am one happy girl! I highly recommend these!

I saw several reviewers mention how much more comfortable than Fryes these boots were...and they are all right! Wow! The footbed is amazing in these boots and they great quality boots. This particular style ended up being a tad chunky for my taste, but I think I may be a Durango concert after this. I look forward to trying other styles.

I ordered the 8.5 and, at first, they felt a little big so I ordered the 8 just in case but the 8 was way too narrow on my foot. I ended up keeping the 8.5 and they are very comfortable! They look great with skinny jeans, cut-offs, or to add style to a fun summer dress or skirt. I really love these boots! I plan on wearing them all year long.
