This is a great basic winter boot. They style is nice enough to wear casually with jeans, yet they are warm enough and waterproof so you can wear them in the snow as well. My feet did get cold in these after about 2 hours of tubing, but that is expected for a lightweight boot. I haven't had any problem with the zippers, and the shoes are very comfortable and light.

I love these boots! I usually have trouble finding shoes since I'm size 11 and like a roomy toe box. These boots are very comfy, warm and completely waterproof. They lack arch support, but after adding superfeet insoles they're great. I had my last pair for four years and wore them all the time in the winter when I lived in the northeast. I live in warmer weather now, but just ordered a new pair for an upcoming ski trip. Believe it or not, but my husband is actually wearing my old stretched out pair on our trip (they felt better to him than the boots he had ordered!).

These boots are awesome. They are warm, comfortable, the side zipper is fine, and they fit under jeans. Not too bulky yet very sturdy. I'm so glad I bought them when I did since the snow and sleet is still coming. And they were delivered so fast!

These boots are great! Warm and totally waterproof; have been great throughout the last few snowstorms. Love them!

I usually buy a 10 shoe and I often have an issue with slightly too tight toe box. So, I bought these in 10.5 because Zappos didn't have a 10 and because I was worried that the toes would be tight, which would be bad in cold temps. So, the 10.5s are very roomy and really too big with regular socks, but are comfortable with thicker socks and will probably be perfect with an insert. There is lots of room for my toes to wiggle and I am able to flex the shoe at the ball of my feet when I walk, which makes them feel less bulky. I compared these to the Keen Betty boot, which was not nearly so true a fit, and much stiffer. These are great boots and though I haven't given them a true test in long-term cold exposure, I am confident they will do the job.

Great pair of snowboots, has kept me bone dry even after walking, sledding, snowplay in more than 5-6 inches of snow. I ordered my true size and although a tad loose with regular socks (perfect with thick winter socks), I feel like even half a size down may make it tight/uncomfortable.

Since the day they arrived, I've been wearing these boots. They are amazing in the winter weather. I wish I had them last year. The back of the boot felt a little funky when I first put them on, but not enough to make me take these off.

They are pricey but worth the money. I like the fact that they tuck underneath the pant legs of my jeans and don't look like a scary moon boot. I wear them to and from work (the parking lots aren't always plowed well enough for regular shoes) and I have worn them all day in a casual office environment. They have good traction and I have used them for snow blowing the drive too. I would invest in them again.

Living in Minnesota means plenty of cold & plenty of snow, especially this year. I have a high instep & have difficulty finding boots that are easy to put on. Also, I need a boot that's really warm, waterproof & relatively lightweight because I walk my Retired Racing Greyhound every day. We usually take one long walk of 30 minutes or more (bundled up, cold notwithstanding) & 2 or 3 shorter walks. This boot is easy for me to get on, comfortable & warm & gives good traction on the snow/ice. I've always been a fan of Sorel boots & this one did not disappoint. And neither did the great Zappos' shopping experience!

These boots are exactly what I was looking for -- they're warm, comfortable, and my foot doesn't slip around in a "normal" weight sock, but there's room for me to put on a heavy sock if I wanted to. The sole is very stiff - I think it would require a bit of breaking in to make this a walking shoe. I don't plan on walking further than the mailbox in these, so the stiffness/break-in period doesn't really bother me. I also think they look very nice for a functional shoe.

Super warm, light, comfortable boots. I walk for miles in them, and my feet are never cold. They are easy to get on and off, too. My last pair of Sorels lasted twenty years!

Happy New Year from the infamous Snow Belt south of Buffalo! My new Sorels have served me very well this winter so far, and we have had enough snow, ice, cold and wet conditions to put them to the test. I have difficult feet - quite wide in the forefoot and narrow in the heel, with a painful neuroma on the left if footwear is even a little tight. Finding a womens' wide in a good boot is difficult. I purchased the B width thinking they would probably go back; this was ok with the free return policy. But these boots fit from the first - not sloppy; my foot does not slide around so I am comfortable walking on ice - and I found the length true to size. I drive in a cold car up to an hour to work (on bad traffic or weather days) and cold feet were always my complaint, but no more! Can't say enough about these. I would caution those blessed (?) with narrow feet that they may be too wide. Thanks, Zappos!

Was hoping that they'd fit. The reviews helped me to order the right size. Wore my Caribou's the first few days after the blizzard. Now these are perfect for the finally plowed streets, and shoveled sidewalks.

I love these boots. They are very easy to put on and take off which is why I replaced my last boots. Keeps my feet warm and dry on even very cold days.

Just what I needed to trudge around the city streets in the cold weather and snow. I think they look cute, in a rugged sort of way, along with a skirt and tights. Plenty of room for my large calves. My only issue is that the zipper doesn't work as smoothly as I'd like - it hasn't gotten stuck yet but it seems that's just a matter of time.

I wanted to love these boots, but they were a wrestling match to get on with my high instep and thick calf. They look lovely, but I couldn't get them on my feet and when I did I couldn't get them zipped. I think they would fit a different shaped foot very nicely.

After buying a pair of "snow" shoes at a outdoor box retailer, I checked the weather of our upcoming ski trip to Colorado. I decided I would go with a pair of shoes I found at Zappos. And I am very happy I did! These shoes, although not the most feminine looking shoes, do look rather "tough" when in the mountains. They are very comfortable with a thick sock and I even wore them to the airport because they were easy to take on and off at the security line. Overall, my feet never felt cold in snow and weather ranging from -20 degrees F to a high of 20 degrees F. A great investment. I will wear them on all future ski trips!

This shoe was a little tight at first around the calf, but I walked around the house for about 10 minutes and they loosened up. I wore them while hiking through the Swiss Alps and they were so comfortable,warm and very stylish. I let 2 friends try them on, and they ordered them after seeing them in person. You wont need warm thick socks with these shoes either. The wool lining keeps your toes warm.

Just received this boot and tried it on. I think it is great. I ordered my normal size and although it felt big when I put it on barefoot, as soon as I added a winter sock the sizing was right. This seems like a very well-made product with lots of foot support and good traction from the sole. I feel like I will get a lot of use out of it this winter.

Incredibly comfortable and warm boot! Fits well under my trousers\/jeans but would probably look cute over them as well. High enough to wade through snow without leaking in.

Bought these for a trip to Colorado and was very pleased with the boot. I bought a size larger than I actually am because I thought it may be tight with winter socks but I really could have stayed with my normal size. They are very comfy and look like real boots but still stylish. I wore them in 10 degree weather with thin sock in standing in snow and my feet were always comfy and warm! I'd highly recommend them for real-winter boots. I miss wearing them now I'm back in Florida.

These boots keep my feet very warm and dry when hiking in snow...and they're stylish, too! I usually wear a 7.5 but had to order size 8 since the sizing runs a little small. Great boots and Zappos rocks!

Love these! Very nice boot, I bought a 1/2 size bigger to be able to wear a wool sock. Wore them in 26 degree weather just playing outside with my kids and my feet were warm and dry!
