This backpack is perfect for a college student! There's a place for my laptop and can fit multiple textbooks, separate place for pens/pencils etc. Can't find anything wrong with it!

This bag is super comfortable to wear, however it was much smaller than I expected in terms of how much stuff can actually fit in it. I still can fit a decent amount of notebooks and my laptop, and I love the organization of it.

I bought this for my son who is attending college in the fall. It is cumbersome, but has plenty of room and specific sections for him to be competently organized with all of his supplies, including his lap top. This level of organization will keep him prepared for all of his college course.

I got this for my daughter's overseas trip. She loves it! It has so many pockets and compartments, she can keep everything in there

The backpack is a lot smaller than what I imagined, but the design is so sleek and simple. I have yet to use it but I am excited to start using it!

Two strikes against the redesigned Jester: 1. As with all the 2015 redesigned daypacks, I find the straps less comfortable than the old model. The old models traps were wider so they distributed weight better. The new straps are relatively narrow, stiff, and scratchy. 2. The organizer panel is backward. It's facing backward in the large compartment instead of facing forward in the small compartment as shown in the image. The defect was present in the model I ordered from the website and in every one I saw in the store when I went to return it. I've never seen a correct one except in the stock image here on the website. (I assume the web image is correct because it makes more sense that way.) TNF seems to have incorrectly manufactured the entire run of new Jesters, and then just decided to sell them anyway. If that's your plan, dudes, at least update the website image so it looks like it's supposed to be like that! Don't advertise one thing and then sell another. Between the uncomfortable redesign and the shoddy QA, TNF has lost a loyal customer/occasional shill.

As another reviewer mentioned, the accessories organizer is sewn in the main compartment for my backpack too. I don't know if this is a defect or if it's an intentional change to the design, but this is not does not match the photos shown. Also, the water bottle pocket isn't quite deep or tight enough for my water bottle and there is no side strap to strap it in place like there is in most backpacks. Besides these two things, it has everything I would expect and like in a North Face backpack.

Please bring back the old Jester I & II, this new design is so horrendous to me! Im bummed theres no option to buy the older style

I bought this backpack for my niece, (as requested). I loved it so much that I bought one for myself. You cannot beat the quality or the price. The last North Face backpack has lasted her an entire school year and is still going strong.

Light and sturdy, I like cushioned shoulder straps.

Bought this for my wife as a day pack for when we travel. She loves it!!! She said it has enough pockets but not too many. "She really likes the bungee on the back for holding her towel as well as the large pocket for clothes SPF etc... Great for a day pack would highly recommend to anyone!

The new Jester design is great! It's sturdy and has sufficient storage space. The laptop sleep has improved. Before, only the Jester II has a padded laptop sleeve. Now this one does, too. I got mine in Zinc Gray and Surf Green. The colors are really nice. The backpack is really nice, overall.

Overall love the backpack and quality, however, the organizers are now in the main compartment. I too thought they were mistakenly sewn the wrong way and so I contacted costumer service and they claimed that the new Jesters are now designed that way. A bit misleading, if you ask me, and I personally think having the organizers in the main compartment takes away from its maximum capacity and makes the backpack bulkier than it needs to be.

It was everything I expected it to be. There is no false advertisement here; everything it says it is online is what it is. Perfect size and great colors too.

Love it!! The perfect size, not to big. Love taking it to the Giants games. I can fit my sweatshirt and all my stuff.

I really love my backpack. I accidentally ordered the cosmic blue thinking it was black thank God for the mistake. The color is beautiful. I get alot of complaints on my bag. I love all the compartments my "15" inch laptop fits perfectly. This is my first Northface product.

This is a great versatile backpack. I have been looking for something for a while that isn't too bulky, but also is spacious. I have used this already as a carry-on, beach pack, and biking pack. The hip strap is excellent for more support. When I wore a tank all day, it rubbed a little on my shoulders, but I suspect that would happen with anything. So satisfied with my purchase!
