Love this pack back, I uses it everyday for my work bag. I carry my laptop and everything else that I need, so much room!

In terms of the backpack, this was my 2nd TNF backpack because my husband is "borrowing" my old one. My old one held up a rough 4 years from lugging around my macbook, numerous books and work clothes during university. What I liked about the backpack was it never looked bulky even when it was stuffed to the gills. I love the colors (grey and surf green) of my new backpack. Lots of random storage compartments and features that will appeal to my various needs/intentions of using this backpack. The one thing that feels weird to me is no matter how I adjust all the straps, it feels like the backpack sits high up on my back. Perhaps its my body proportions, not sure. I didn't put anything in the backpack either when I was examining the fit in the mirror, so maybe with added weight, it won't sit weirdly on me. Either way, small nuisance. Otherwise, I am looking forward to taking my backpack around outside, on trips, and work things that require me to bring a lot of things :)

Bought this backpack for my brother for his birthday, he absolutely loves it, it is of great quality and looks really nice!

So far, I love it! I ordered it for my college books and etc. It fits mostly all of my stuff without it hurting my back. It's very sturdy also! Once again, I love it!

you cant fit 1 textbook in it!!!!!! SO frustrating.

This bag is fine if you really don't bring much to school, but for me, just bringing it to camp or as a small carry-on on a plane was difficult, much less carrying all of my school stuff! The front pocket is too small for most things, and gets very bulgy, and the pencil area on the inside of the big pocket makes that too-narrow big pocket even smaller. Could not imagine trying to fit all of my school stuff in there.

This backpack is exactly what I was looking for! I can't wait to use it on campus next semester! It is the perfect size and even has a spot for my laptop! I know I'll never use the buckle across the front but I don't think it will get in the way. Also, there are little compartments inside that will be useful.

The bag is very roomy and plenty of room for a laptop, my oldest daughter is using it for college. She has only been using it for short time but appears to be very durable. We will purchase another one.

Just as pictured. Fits all of my school supplies for college in it (enough space for all 7 of my class supplies). I have a really bad back, and the padding on it makes it very comfortable to carry. It's definitely worth the money, as I normally pay about $50 for a backpack anyway, so the extra $15 really meant nothing. The quality is by far so much better than the other cheaply made backpacks out there that are almost the same price.

this backpack is just the right size for a college student and comfortable and light weight so all your books won't drag you down

This bag was bought for my son in middle school, the shape of the bottom made it a bit to small for his books and binders. My younger son in first grade it is perfect for. I also think it is great for work bag. Price was great especially with a warranty, it's stylish and offers needed compartments. I also bought the Recon for my older son and it is exactly what he needed.

Love that the material is waterproof! I love the placement of the little pockets in the big section! Second NorthFace Backpack I've purchased and this one is definitely my favorite!

Almost everyone at my university had the Jester as well. It's the perfect size and fit, and the weight makes the backpack easy to carry anywhere for any length.

It's great for school and camping purposes. I go to school in the middle of the Red Tree Forrest so, it's a harsh terrain at times and, it's easy to get to point A to point B with this back.

This is a great backpack for a college student. It is roomy enough for everything you would want to carry around campus (especially a laptop, which fits perfectly) and is very stylish at the same time. I love the redesigned Jester because it really fits the female body well.

I am a petite person and this backpack is great. Not too bulky like some are!

I live in a small town in southeast Alaska and I travel for numerous sports and other occasions in which I have to battle the weather as well as packing. This backpack is perfect for traveling from place to place in bad weather!

It's roomier than it seems. Used backpack in high 90 degree weather and backpack didn't make me any hotter. Also super breathable
