Mostly wear them with dress clothes. Previous pair the soles wore quickly. So far this pair seems to be holding up well.

This is my first purchase of a J&M product. I purchased the tan Melton Cap Toe mainly to wear to work in either a business or business casual environment. I was looking for both a simple, elegant look and hearty construction. For me, this shoe checks those boxes perfectly. I've only had them for a few weeks, but thus far I have no concerns about any aspect of their quality. Despite what some other reviews indicate, I've not experienced challenges with breaking them in. I'm really pleased and will soon be looking at other J&M shoes to add to my wardrobe. One sizing note: I normally wear a 10 1/2 but in J&M shoes, that size is too large. I purchased the size 10 instead, and the fit is excellent.

I purchased these to wear to work and have been thoroughly impressed. I do think they wear even better once broken in; around or after 5-6 wears. The shine is really nice on these and maintains with maintenance/polishing. I would definitely recommend, as I also bought the brown pair.

This is the second pair of the same shoe. The first pair was bought 3-4 years ago and is worn to work several times per week. Just sent them out for new soles and wanted another pair. I was happy to find the exact same pair on line and they were true to size. Thank you for not discontinuing shoes!! This was a pleasure.

I wear these shoes every day for work. While I do quite a bit of driving, walking and standing are also big parts of my week. My feet are never uncomfortable and do not ache at the end of the day. Other shoes had to be thrown away when I wore them out but the superior quality of the Melton allows me return them to the store to be transformed back into a brand new shoe. Even brand new off of the shelf, this shoe requires very little break in and stays classy when it does.

These are the best of the best. If you want to make a million bucks you got to look like a million bucks. These shoes aid in that endevear tremendously! :) Zappos is amazing as always--great product availability and super fast shipping.

They broke in pretty quickly and are extremely comfortable (and I used to wear orthotics in my previous dress shoes.) I love the look and style and can't wait to get a brown pair.
