Great shoes! Great shoes, just the classic look I wanted!! FYI Converse shoes DO run a half size larger, I normally wear a 7.5, I ordered a size 7, it fits me fine with still a little extra room in the toes - others have posted this advice & it is true.

Awesome sneaks - Ordered the Jack Purcell’s in white leather, and they more than fulfilled my expectations. Best looking white sneaks around. Sized as advertised and extremely comfortable. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a sharp retro sneaker.

22 hrs from click to doorstep! If exceeding expectations is the goal of this company, I say "Mission Accomplished". They probably try to ship every item out next-day air, but promise you the only same standard shipping time every other site does for free. I would have gladly waited 2-3 business days for these, but I was floored to find my shoes shipped almost immediately! 22 hours after the click-to-buy, my package was at my doorstep. Amazing! And the quality was top notch. My Jack Purcells were pristine right out of the box. And I don't really get how they can charge this much for the leather version. Another dept. store charges more for these. I almost thought it was a typo! This company is simply amazing. I will buy from here again.

I am rockin' the Jack Purcell's - While searching for a black sneaker I came across the Jack Purcell's. Not only are they black but they are black leather and in my book there is nothing cooler then black leather. They look great (I have gotten lots of compliments) and are totally comfortable (steer clear of the Chuck Taylors). I live in NYC and do a lot of walking so these sneakers have been "test driven" and past the test. They do run a bit large. I am a size 6 women’s so according to the chart I would take a 4.5 but I actually needed a 4. They look great with shorts and jeans - especially skinny jeans. Go ahead and "rock a pair" for yourself.

Adorable, Comfortable. My favorite sneakers for over a year. I first bought these sneakers last year. I've worn them to death and just recently noticed the back one of them starting to crumble. That's when I logged back into Zappos and ordered 2 more pairs- a black and a white one. They're Converse & yet they're a little more stylish and dressy due to the leather. I love 'em and I hope to be a little easier on the next pair(s).

Lovin' them! I love the leather version to make these a little slicker looking. They're like a step away from my usual Chucks, and they seem to also just be better engineered, not sure if maybe that's the leather v. canvas because I've never had a leather Chuck. They seem to run large, like Chuck Taylors do, like a whole size... Seriously though, mid-$50's for a cool looking leather shoe? Yes, please.

Converse Jack Purcell Leather - These shoes are very cute with jeans. I wear a size 8, but I thought my feet looked a little long in them with shorts. They run slightly long. Do listen to the reviews. This is a wonderful service Zappos provides since you can't try them on. I have never had to return anything because of the reviews. As always, I had my order the next day. Zappos is amazing!

The return of the cool - Always a little obscure, The Converse Jack Purcell stands out in black leather. Being the precursor of the Chuck Taylor Jack's are comfy (get arch supports) and look great. I loved that a lady stopped me on the elevator and said "Are those Jack Purcell's?" all I could do was smile and say "yes!"

Too big - These are great shoes, but run a 1/2 size large.

Kathy - Very pleased with my shoes. I bought some white leather polos at a discount store and they were hard and literally fell apart in 2 months. These are soft leather and I wear them every where and love them. Worth the money if you wear white leather tennis shoes a lot like I do.

I LOVE ZAPPOS - Great shoe, comfortable, stylish, just what I wanted. Zappos is the best!! I'm a size 11 and it is very difficult to buy shoes. I only buy my shoes on Zappos now. They always have my size in every type of shoe. I've bought sneakers, work shoes, dress shoes, boots. They have it all and best of all if you don't like the shoe you can send it back free and it’s so simple. I'd be barefoot without Zappos. Keep up the good work!!!

Jack Purcell's the GREATEST! These shoes are the greatest. They have the greatest quality workmanship and last a lifetime. It is a classic and still going strong! If you do not have a pair of them, GET SOME and see for yourself!

Wonderful shoes - Was convinced to order the leather instead of the canvas which I'd normally opt for...Can't say I'm disappointed in the least! These shoes are great and replaced my same-marked-size Converse low-tops. What I mean to say is they run a little big compared to other shoes, but the same as other Converse. Or maybe my feet are just smaller than I want to admit :) Great shoes, stylish and REALLY comfy sole. Amazing and squishy, like I'm walking on air! I have wide feet, really high arches and they fit great.

My favorite shoes - I love these shoes. So comfy and stylish. They go very good with my jeans. One thing I didn’t like is that they turned the bottom of my socks blue. This goes away after a few times of wear. I’m a size 8 women’s and a size 8 women’s Jack Purcell sneaker fits perfect. Maybe it’s just because my foot is a little wide?

Good but a little gluey - Overall the shoes are great. But since you’re asking I did need to remove excess glue off of each shoe. Somehow there was dried glue on the sides of both shoes. I was able to use some products (Goo Gone) to get the glue off of the white leather.

Great shoes - I would buy these shoes once more, the only thing like most buyers of the Jack Purcell they run about a half size large. I am planning to purchase the canvas white; I'm very happy with my purchase. The only reason comfort wasn't 5 stars is because the shoe is a half size large. Also I'm very happy with Zappos return and shipping policy. The price they charged for the shoe with no tax and free over night shipping would have been the same as buying at a shoe store; the difference being I was able to buy a shoe that everybody doesn't have.

Black Leather Converse Jack Purcell - Absolutely love them! I always wear Converse and these have a more classic look with enough edge from the black leather. They feel great and look great!

Love them! I wore these shoes all summer and they have been great! However I would order a half size smaller, because they do run a little big (at least for the women they do).

Nice shoes - Had to return these. Ordered them down a half size like I do with all Converse shoes. Big mistake as they were too small. These fit true to size.

Sweet kicks - Love 'em. Way more comfortable than I imagined. The leather is thin and soft and the inside is plush. I got them in less than 24 hours! Zappos you the man.
