I bought my first pair of PRO's about a year ago. They have great stability and support I broke my foot falling off a ladder before buying them and I needed a boot that would help support my foot while standing on a ladder. these boots have done an amazing job and no other shoes that I own feels comfortable in comparison.

These boots were very wide around my ankles after wearing around the house for 20 minutes my ankles hurt.Other than that they felt very comfortable.

Wear these for riding on my motorcycle. Put them away in the fall and just took them out for my first spring ride and the soles are coming apart and separating. Sounds crazy, but after a few months of sitting in my closet it looks like i stepped in some chemical! Sent them back to Timberland, but it doesn't sound like they stand brhind their products. Was a lifelong customer, but will buy elsewhere!

Great hard working boots. Fairly priced, long wearing, tough leather. My last pair last almost 2 years! Only thing I'd suggest is getting some quality insoles...i.e. PowerSteps, Super Feet, or other gel insert with support. The factory ones are just flat pieces of thin foam. These are diehard workhorse boots. Not that heavy for steel toe either. I'd buy them again.

Steel toe clunkers! Yep that's what these are , and I love them! My 2nd pair of PitBoss boots. These are just great solid boots for a fair price. My last pair lasted 2 years..I'm a local trucker peddling city freight all day jumping up/down from semi and trailer 50 hours weekly. These boots are comfy ,quality thick leather.. they are tough, and will take a beating. The foot bed from factory is just plain without support, however with my power step insoles you'll be rocking all day with comfort! I will buy these again when they wear out! & Zappos ROCKS!

I am a remodel carpenter involved in all sorts of construction activities. Climbing ladders, cruising wheelbarrows, climbing scaffolding, demolition work, you name it. These boots are the best. I read a couple bad reviews here about quality and I dont understand. Im about to get my 20th pair and I have never had ANY PROBLEMS with build quality of boot. It feels like a tennis shoe, its that light and comfortable. The only reason I buy them frequently is I do a lot painting and they end up looking bad before they wear out. I dont even look at other boots , I just get more of these!

Good quality. The inside isn't the most comfortable possible yet. We am hoping they will soften on the upper section from the ankle up. Other than that they are good looking, strong and stable. Good for work for sure.

My husband is really happy with these boots. He's a size 7 but we had to return them ,a little too tight. The 7 1/2's are perfect. Very comfortable per the man! The return process was so easy, thank you Zappos's !

Nice looking shoe, unfortunately too bulky. Size 13 fit a 12.5 foot well.

I use these boots in rail yards and rights of way walking on stable and unstable surfaces, inside rail cars and outside on ROW ballast climbing stairs and ladders. These boots are very comfortable, so much so I look forward to putting them on. These are the lightest STB's I have even worn, even compared to Sketchers STB style running shoe. I would recommend to any and everyone. I would buy another pair, even if the soles fell off. I replaced the laces with longer laces so I could put an extra half-hitch between eyes to keep the laces pulled tight when tying and to prevent the knots from coming undone.

My husband has had every type of work boot imanginable and he swears these are the best ones he's ever had. He says there was literally no "break in" period. Super comfortable right off the bat.

I use these boots daily. I am an automotive technician so I am constantly on my feet and moving around. In my experience, even if it says oil and slip resistant, you can still slip. This boot offers way better grip than the boots I was previously using. The boot fit nice right out of the store and will only get better over use and time. I have no complaints about these boots.

This was the first time, and the last time, I bought a pair of workboots from Timberland. I usually wear Red Wing boots, but availability and price made me consider these. After only 4 months, the insoles came out all together. Just read another review here from a customer who has had the exact same problem, and apparently Timberland refused to repair them. I should have known not to expect job-site quality from a fashion-footwear company. These are for looks, not work. Go to Red Wing instead. Not only do their workboots last years before the soles need replacing, but Red Wing replaces them for you FREE. If you're going to spend $100+ on a pair of boots, give it to a company that not only stands by their product, but makes a durable and reliable product in the first place. Save your Timbs for the club.

My third pair of these boots. Only draw back is that they tend to loosen while they are new and can rub on the heel if you don't repeatedly lace back up. Once they get broken in, the laces stay tight and they are really comfortable.

I LOVE these boots. Never had a pair of steel toe boots just didn't want to deal with clunky boots for the occasional job site visit or putting a shoulder in when a man down. I finally made the leap and couldn't be happier. I only gave them 4 stars for comfort because honestly they are still pretty big work boots with the stiffness that doesn't scream comfort. Other than that they rock!

These boots look and feel amazing and I love wearing them. My only concern with these is that I needed to be able to stand up for hours on end without discomfort and still have protection for my feet. The boots fulfill both of those criteria perfectly, however since it is currently winter and there is no blacksmithing to be done this raises the problem, in half an inch of fluffy snow one must tread carefully. Also the leather is quite soft so don't accidentally kick anything because you might put a big ugly scratch in your very expensive timberlands.

This is my second pair. I wore the first pair to work everyday, 6 days a week, for almost 2 years. I'm a mechanic and am on my feet almost 12 hours a day. They hold up very well. I bought the new pair because the insoles of my first pair were breaking down, other than that I had no issues with them.
