Use the boots for light work when safety is required. This was the 2nd pair in about 3 years and found this pair to be very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in unlike the first pair. After about a year of light work, only wear the boots a few times per year, the soles began to separate toe and heal. I then realized why the boots were so stiff. The stitching was for looks....as there was no stitching from the boot to the sole....only glue. Going to look around for a reliable boot with no deception as to the construction.

So far these are amazing boots they are super comfortable I got them originally for work where I am a carpenter so I am on my feet alot and always dropping 2x4s and 4x4s on my toes and couldn't find a boot that was comfortable enough to work in all day until I found these I do believe I found the right boots I haven't been to work yet yet I still haven't stopped wearing them they're so comfortable I love this boot

Wear 7 days a week 10-14 hours a day. I have owned 5 pair over 7 years! They hold up great. These provide great stability on rough ground. I never have aches in lower back and knees like other boots. I recently was disappointed when trying to purchase these through the "boot truck" that comes to my work, they have discontinued "my boot" I hope this does not mean the pit boss will be discontinued. Thank you for a great product! Never stop making them!

The 4th loop from the bottom is not very conducive to pulling the bottom lace tight. Would have been better off to have put another eyelet hole like the others in the location. I replace that piece with a hook and they lace tight. Otherwise a excellent boot.

bought this boot for work on a paving crew, which means i only use them from april through august. I bought them midway through this period in july ish. Other than paving i dont use these boots very much so when i went to put them on today, i was rudely surprised to see one of the lace grommets fly across the room, all I gotta say is, the carolina lightnings' I bought held up to ten fold more abuse and I still wear them even with no tread. Overall dissapointed with this purchase

The reason I chose these peticular boots was, they are lighter in weight but you still get the Timberland pro quality and protection.. Some pro boots are over 2.5 lbs per boot. If memory serves me correct these came in at 1.58 lbs per boot, being 50 yrs plus this is a boot you can wear for a full work day all week..

These boots are durable and well constructed but they rub my Achilles raw. Ive added mole skin and tried everything I can but even after breaking in its still the same issue.

My first pair lasted me 2 years before the bottoms wore out. Had no issues with the leather. Before these boots I was going through pairs every six months. Now on my second pair of timberland pros and loving them

Well I needed boots for work. I needed something to handle the day to day harsh environment I work in. Since I work in a plater and maintain the line. The boots needed to handle acids like Hydrochloric Acid, Sulfuric acid, and anything else. Would like a boot that was comfortable too with 12 hours shifts. I can say I am overall happy with them. Why they only will last a year in a harsh chemical environment like mine, I am pleased with them. Actually just order another pair, since my company gives me a boot allowance, they will do fine.

TERRIBLE ! I don't recommend these at all. Go find something else. I've had these for 5 months now. They won't break in and get more comfortable. The laces that came with the boots slip and do not stay snug - I have to retie them at least twice per work shift. walking around the store and warehouse while wearing these feels like an experiment in just how much discomfort I can take. I stopped wearing them a couple weeks ago. What a waste of $110 bucks. Don't do it. Spend more money and get the Keen or Danner or Caterpillar work boots. Pass these ones by.
I'd also recommend:
Danner, Caterpillar, Keen.

These were my first true work boots. I bought them when I was 19 years old going into a shop that worked 12 hours a day 7 days a week 90% of the year. I wore the soles of these boots smooth. I had holes in both toes and the steel toes black coating worn shiny. With all that abuse in just over a year they were still comfortable but I figured it was time to retire them. I bought my second pair and did the same thing. Took a little more care made them last a little longer. Now I'm on the 3rd pair and I've already got another pair just waiting for these to retire. They are that good. I wish they lasted 5 years but for me that's just not possible

I take either 11.5 W or 12 W in other shoes. Tried both sizes and even the size 12 was too tight around the toes. The steel toe piece seems to be significantly narrower than the rest of the shoe.

Nice boots, but they run a bit small on the size..I had to return and go up a half size over what I normally wear.

I work in a warehouse and steel toe are required. Was excited to wear my first pair of Timberlands!! Out of the box they looked good, that was the end of the good. Scuffs and marring in the first few days ended the good looks and this is warehouse not even construction! Hot spots and blisters/ callouses everywhere, inside of big toe, out side of foot, after two weeks on the heel. Spent plenty of money on a variety of socks, came across Herter's and they work best. Called Timberland after three weeks about their 30 day any reason return: Sorry, your style, Pit Boss Pro, doesn't qualify!! I bought them based on an independent review site which said PB Pros have been around over 30 years and mistakenly (so I found out) stated they are covered by Timberland's 30 day return policy. Customer service basically told me to go pound sand! As another reviewer said: I should have known better than to buy work boots from a fashion shoe company. The real bottom line: never again from a manufacturer that doesn't stand behind its product.

I wear these boots for everything. They are very comfortable. I wear for work, play, and everything else until they get too beat up to pass off for casual foot wear... I'm a general contractor and farm on the side, these boots go through a lot. Only complaint is the toe leather always seems to wear out but it's kind of expected for a steel toe. I have been buying this boot for about 10 years have found nothing that fits better

I ordered this boot as a replacement work boot. I have had several pairs of Timberland Pro's in the past, and I wanted to try these out. When they came they were really narrow for me in the toe box, even though I had ordered a wide width. The boot looks like good quality, great leather and nice finishing, but it is very heavy. Too heavy for the work I do day to day, so I had to return them. I will definitely try Timberland Pro boots again, just not this style.

Owned a pair of these for three years, then replaced them with the same and they are garbage now. The rivets holding the loops are cheap. First pair broke within a day. Thought it was a fluke so exchanged them, and the second pair did the same thing within a week.

I bought these boots about 5 years ago and wore the almost every day for 4 years. The boots are the most best feeling shoes I've owned. The only down fall is after spilling oil in them, melting the rubber in a little spot on one boot and accidentally hitting one with a sand blaster they don't look the best so I don't wear them around as much even though they're more comfortable then the new boots I bought

I bought these boots to be work boots for my husband, who is a farmer and needed the steel toes for working with cattle and machinery. The sizing was perfect and he says they were exactly what he was looking for.

These boots simply do not hold up. Have been wearing them for 2 months and the sole is separating, stitching's are coming out, and leather is wearing out.
