I wear size 13 tennis shoes because my left foot is a 13 and right is a 12.5. I am an active tennis player and the tennis shoes have to have the room or your toes take a beating as there are a lot of quick stops. In tennis shoes, the general rule seemed to be that it was ok to have the extra room in the right in the 13, so long as the left 12.5 fit. So I thought it was going to be a tricky fit with loafers. My last purchase of loafers was ages ago, and they were all 12, but as I aged my feet got a bit larger and the old loafers were feeling a bit snug. A few weeks ago I had ordered from Zappos a 13 loafer, but it was too loose. Zappos took it back without question. Great service. I started looking again and read all the reviews first, and some reported the Nunn Bush Penny loafer ran a bit large. I ordered it in 12, and the fit worked out perfect. It is a great looking loafer, and the rubber sole is like walking on clouds - plus I don't have to worry about wetting the sole. I think reading the reviews gives you a wealth of information. I wasn't sure how these were on sizing, so ordered a 12. too big for me. but they are very nice, look just like the pictures. Will reorder in right size.
