First of all, these are gorgeous boots! I am returning them because they are a little too tall for me, and the heel is a little too low. I am 5'2" and wanted a higher heel. The details on the leather are beautiful, but the fit is a little sloppy- loose for my liking. Still a beautiful boot for the right person. Ariat is a favorite brand of mine.

The boots are absolutely beautiful. Like most cowboy boots I have a tough time inserting my foot but once I get them on it’s fine. These were no different, very tight getting into them but once my foot was in they were so comfortable. I’m a size 10/10.5. I have thick ankles and calves. I went with the 10 and these fit perfect. They look amazing. Love them.

I have a wide calf and a high arch, so I rely on Zappos to find boots that fit. I was excited to see a cowboy boot in a wide width. I was even more excited when they arrived and I was able to pull them on with ease. They were immediately comfortable. I like the flat heel as a more everyday style to other cowboy boots with a stacked heel. The quality of the leather and stitching is wonderful as well. I am sure I will buy this brand again!

These are high quality boots, beautiful leather & a very solid sole. I also liked the soft footbed insert, they seemed like they would be cozy even without socks. I am not keeping them because they looked more masculine when I tried them on than they seemed in the pics. They are quite stocky, not shapey, and come to an awkward height on the calf for wearing with a skirt. Otherwise I loved the way they felt! If you are after a glam-free rugged boot, these could be right for you :) For reference I wear a 7 / 37 & have bunions but otherwise narrow feet, and I ordered these in 37 C width, they were a good fit.

Love these! They're a true working boot but still classic enough to wear anywhere. Mine have been all over town; to the office, out for dinner, shopping etc. They can easily be dressed up or down. I ordered the black which is beautiful. Normally, I wear an 8.5 - 9. The 8 in this boot turned out to be the perfect fit. They do take a little while to break in (two or three days of wear for me). I also noticed a reduction in the heel slippage (normal with a new slip on boot) once they were slightly broken in. These are quality, classic boots. You won't be disappointed. :-)

I use these boots for riding and working around the stable. They are very comfortable, well made and sexy! They are not so awesome for riding as the short boot got caught in the saddle flaps. That was not a big deal. It looks like these will last a long time. They look awesome with short dresses or skirts.

Nice boot. A bit tight on top, but once I get it on very comfortable and good protection.

This particular boot is very hard to pull on, but once on, fits like a glove, and comes off easily. I own two other styles of Ariat Roper boots which pull on and off easily. All of my Ariat boots are the most comfortable footwear I own. It's like they are molded to fit.

I tend to wear a 9 1/2 and sometimes a 9 and with this boot the 9 was best. I had a difficult time getting them on but once on they felt fabulous. I wore them all day at work and didn't have to change into my Danskos! There was no break-in period at all. Very comfy and cute!

Cute but not comfortable - very stiff, if you can wear them for a while to break in they would probably get better. Just as pictured.

I had been eying these boots for awhile before someone gave them to me as an Christmas gift (thanks, sis!). I have literally worn them every day since then. They are so comfortable, even if I'm running around doing errands all day, and go great with jeans or skirts. I've worn them in the rain and snow and they definitely keep my feet warm. I always wear a size 8 and these are true to size. I was debating between these and the Frye Harness 8R, and I'm so glad I ended up returning the Frye boots. I would definitely recommend these!

I love these boots. They are classic and comfortable and have kept my feet warm (when worn with a Smartwool sock). Good construction with quality materials. The arch support makes a huge different. I wear a 7 or 7.5, but always go with a 7.5 when I'm buying boots.

I got this boot for casual wear with jeans and work. I acutally work as an RN in a University setting so I am all over the place for 8-10 hours. I have found boots are actually more supportive than tennis shoes and clogs. These boots are perfect. Great support and have a low key look to wear with scrubs. I always order a 6 in a boot and the fit was the same as other boots with maybe a slight more room around the instep. But, not too much.

This is my third pair of Ariat boots (the other 2 are Blackwaters), and I love them. They were comfortable right out of the box, and true to my size 7. I ordered the Ropers in black, and they look nice enough to wear to work.

I absolutely love these boots! It took less than a week to break them in and now they feel like slippers. I wear them constantly on the farm and to the office. I have crossed creeks in them without seepage and have trekked in rugged terrain. I have a wide foot and the C width fit perfectly. Ariat's quality is outstanding.

Nice simple but classic style that looks good with both pants and skirts. Excellent support for all-day wear under any conditions.

Great boot. Can be difficult to get on. Very comfortable for wearing all day. My second pair - now have a black and brown pair.

I am extremely pleased with the fit, quality and comfort of these boots. I bought them for work and riding. As an equine vet I do no't want to have to think about what is on my feet too much. I just need to stand square and move my feet quick. For the past 20 years I have mainly worn lace up paddock boots day in and day out. But most of the horsemen I know wear Ariats and believe that they are the most comfortable boots you can buy. So I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did.

These boots are just perfect! They do take some breaking in but I expected that. The width, boot shaft height and heel are exactly like I wanted. I was surprised by how quickly they arrived!

What a really beautiful boot! I am sad to return it but the seams hit the bumpy bone on top of my feet. I don't think they will stretch out enough, and that would be a painful process anyhow. Will keep looking - I love all my Ariat shoes and boots and I know there's a cowgirl boot for me.
