A little narrow for a wide shoe, especially in the toes.

I wear wide dance shoes all the time and these don't feel wide at all.

These were okay. Only used them once for a dance class.

Shoes were too small. I ordered my usual size, 7 1/2, and chose "wide" because I intended to wear for dancing. Too snug, too short in the toe box. I'm returning, not exchanging for larger size becauase I sense the width still will be too snug.

I guess I should have known, if these were designed for dancing, maybe they aren't designed to be worn outside. Ran small, impractical. Must return.

Even in the wide width, these shoes were just too narrow for me.

I bought these as well as the same style on Bloch and am keeping the Bloch which are slightly more comfortable in width. I'm still in search of the "perfect" pair of dance shoes (open toe, 2" heel with slight platform or more padding at the ball of the foot).

Reordering a half size larger and wider width.

Didn't fit! I usually wear a 6.5 in flats, but I couldn't even get my feet into these shoes. I really like how they look and want to try them on, so I am ordering a size up. Hopefully those fit better.

I have a narrow foot and very hard to find shoes. I was trying to replace my 35 yr old tap shoes that seemed too tight now but these shoes seemed almost as tight and maybe too short. I always wear a 7 but would have liked to try a 7.5 but there were none in stock. So I had my old ones stretched. Don't know what I'm going to do with these new ones.

I would only order half a size larger. A full size up was too much. The heel does come up in back, which is not comfortable.

I wear a 5-W. The shoe was so tight, I couldn't even get my foot all the way into the shoe. It also seemed a little short. It looked well made and a nice, classic style but I'm going to have to return it.

I should have followed the advice of the other Zappers - ordered my regular size (10) since I am usually between a 9.5 and 10. Too tight, so I ordered a 10.5. Wearable, but still uncomfortable. Just ordered an 11 and hoping that third time is the charm. A word to the wise - order a size up, really.

I got them in 6W. Pros: Very cute, durable, and great for ladies who can't wear high heels. They don't look fumpy. I have worn them to weddings, graduation, and other social functions. Cons: W is still not wide enough for my feet, and the heel has too little grip. It is for this reason I cannot wear it more often.

I ordered these a half size up but still they run too small. No larger size so I'll return them. They are man made so no give but leather soles would be good for dancing.

I started out loving this shoe, but after a couple of wears the padding in the ball of the foot was completely gone...feels like walking on very thin cardboard. Other than that, love the shoe!

Pay careful attention to this and other reviews that mention sizing. The shoe runs 1 to 2 sizes smaller than marked. The ankle strap is also very short and hard to get buckled even though the width of the shoe seems true to size. The shoe is cute and high quality. Just plan accordingly and order a size or two up, unless you wear an 11 'cause the 12 probably won't fit. Trust me. I tried.

Zappos rocks! The shoe arrived the next day which was great since my daughter was performing and needed the shoes ASAP. I love Zappos! However, the strap on one shoe came off after one performance which was very disappointing. We didn't have time to get another pair and just glued the strap on until we have time to take it to a shoe repair and have it mended. I'd ordered her a size larger than she requested and they fit her perfectly. She loved the way they looked and felt.

Does not run true to size - The shoe is beautiful and the leather is nice and supple. I had to order a 1/2 size larger than my other shoes because the shoe was too short and too narrow in my regular size.

Great at first, but not for heavy use. I bought these character shoes to replace a stolen pair. These are fine if you're looking to use them lightly, but if you plan on dancing or using them in a show for a long time, I wouldn't count on these shoes. For wide feet these shoes are horrible and have almost no comfort or arch support. I inserted gel inserts but that didn't do much. The back is also very uncomfortable and can cause blisters or cuts. If you will be doing a lot of work in these shoes (i.e. heavy dancer or actor) I would recommend spending the extra $80 or so and buying the professional shoe. It will last longer, be more comfortable, and not feel as cheap.

I ordered the Capezio Jr. Footlight to wear to dances because it comes in narrow. I have a low arch and usually wear AAA or AA shoes. This shoe is light in weight and is narrow, but it is at least one size too small. I would like a little higher and more stylish heel. The Capezio character shoe has a heel I like, but does not come in narrow. The character shoe is one half to one size too short and is wide. I tried the Bloch split flex in medium. It was too wide and 1/2 to one size too short. \

Well... You get what you pay for. The shoes are really cute and fairly comfortable BUT the strap is very difficult to fasten and there's no way I'm going to sit there every day trying to put my shoes on for 10 minutes. Ended up returning.

Too narrow in the toes and my foot slips out of the shoe. I didn't care about the style I just needed comfort for my ballroom dance class. Sent them back the day after I received them. I'm going to buy a pair in-person at a dance store. They were wide width and my street size of 9w and they fit but were uncomfortable. Also, it took 5 days to get to me. I ordered from Zappos several years ago and the packaged arrived the next day. Times have changed but what's the point of using UPS if they arrive in the same time of USPS.
