I was required to get these shoes as a member of a singing/performing group. They are as comfortable as any other shoes in which I stand in for hours at a time. I did find the toe box to be a bit constricting, but the are very flattering on the foot. A classic.

These were character shoes for my daughter for a musical, hoping they last for a few due to the price. Very hard to buy for 9 1/2 wide shoe size and a teen, but she loved these from the moment she put them on. Did 4 performances in 3 days and they have lasted and am having a hard time getting her not to wear these to school on dress up days but I think they could be made better on the sole. I wasn't impressed due to that for the cost. But she was comfortable, so guess that is what counts. I love Zappos and order yearly because of my daughters' shoe size, width and arch problems, she hates shoe shopping so is nice to select 10 pair and get it over with trying them on at home and returning what doesn't work.

These are cute and practical dance shoes. I ended up ordering a half size up, and thought this shoe was a little bit stiff for a dance shoe (however, it's still new and could just need breaking in).

Well made shoe, but as always you Capezio is a very difficult brand to get your right size. I order a full size up and they are too small and extremely narrow.
Would recommend for Ballroom dancing practice.

I had to have these shoes for a group that I sing with. I tried a size 9 first as that is my usual size but the way they are cut the 9 1/2 fits much better. Was able to wear them and walk around the house for several hours the day that I got them without any problems. This was really surprising since everyone complains about their chorus shoes. We have an event this weekend and will be on risers all weekend, hopefully they will be just as comfy there as they were at home.

These character shoes run at least 1/2 size small, and the toe box is very narrow. Save time by ordering 1/2 size larger than normal. Since they are not leather, they do not "give," but they serve the purpose. I wore them for community theater.

I was happy that this is offered in a W (most dance shoes aren't), but even that wasn't wide enough for my feet: I had to stretch them. I usually wear a 6 or 6-1/2, but even in the 6-1/2, my toes were too close to the front, so I exchanged them for a 7. The soles are very slick; I recommend getting suede soles put on (if you can find a shoe maker who will do it), or rough up the soles. But these look more elegant than anything else I've found for my wide feet. I'm happy with them.

Comfortable shoe, easy to use for dance classes. Not really something for going out. The ankle strap was a little tricky to adjust the first few times I used it and you definitely can't slide your feet into the shoes with the strap already set - will have to adjust it every time you put them on. I wear anything from a 4-5 in low heels and the 5 fit perfectly.

I love these shoes! I always have trouble finding heels that stay on my feet. The strap keeps the shoe from slipping off in the back, which I love. I ordered a 9, which is my actual size, and although the toes are a slight bit cramped, they don't feel cramped because the leather is soft and molds to your foot. The heel is a perfect height for me, and the shoe can be used to dress up or dress down an outfit. They have a classic look and are very attractive on my feet. I definitely recommend them.

Love capezios as a rule, and would have taken this and made it work, but found another that fit more comfortably, but twice the price.

Functional shoe for its cost.
After reading many reviews, I ordered this shoe a half size and a full size larger than my 8 1/2W street shoes.
At a half size larger, it was snug and felt as if it would mildly hurt after prolonged dancing.
At a full size larger, it felt slightly long, but the width was just right and did not feel it would hurt after prolonged use.

My daughter loves this shoe, but we did have to get a 1/2 bigger than usual. My daughter also has narrow feet and this shoe was great for her. She wears it for interviews for pageants.

This shoe has a cushion in the arch area of the foot and this made it comfortable.

These are great, basic performing shoes with a smaller heel. I dance and walk in them and found them to be generally comfortable. I am tall and do not need or want a high heel, especially if I am doing steps, etc. This heel was the perfect height. I am 59 and had to put on my reading glasses to put the strap through the last loop. I wish they had a t-strap type dancing shoe in this price range--then you can slip the shoes on and off without constantly using the strap. I recommend these shoes.

Very cute and ladylike, with very manageable heel height, I've gone to business functions and weddings in these. My complaint will be how slippery it is whenever you walk on vinyl floor; also, if your feet are anything wide - the D will clip your feet. They do seem to stand up well in time - it's been a year, and I've worn it for about a dozen times, over pretty rough surface and in long distance some times - and they still look like they're brand new. Highly recommended, just watch out for the width!

After reading the reviews, I changed my order to a half size larger than normal. I wish I had also changed the width! These shoes are most definitely small and narrower than most manufacturers. Be sure to order accordingly.

I ordered these shoes on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday they were sitting on my porch when I got home from work. I was very impressed. I ordered one whole size larger and the wide. They are too big, perhaps if I had not gottem the wide, but they feel great. I danced for 3 hours the first time I wore them and had no problems at all. I just pull the strap tight. I do have problems with the buckle, I have a difficult time getting the strap through bottom part of the buckle. Hopefully that will improve. I\'m thinking about ordering the same shoe in tan.

Comfort when it's really needed - Very comfortable. Had to re-order a full size larger and then I had to add an insole because the fit wasn't tight enough for dance class. In the end, I'm very happy and would recommend to any beginning dance student.

Normal size is a 10. Ordered previously and it was too tight. Ordered a 10.5 and 11. 11 was too large and 10.5 fit.
Nice style shoe but if you are a serious dancer who wears suede bottom shoes this shoe is hard on the sole and the upper portion is hard and does not have stretch room

A whole size larger still put pressure on my big toe.
Quality I see average. You get what you pay for.

Lovely dance shoe.
Too bad the maker is not making them “true” to size.
These run very narrow, and a med width will not fit
A lot of people.

These shoes are cute. However, the fit at the forefoot was too tight. The length is fine. I ordered 6 wide, which matches my street shoe size. I need a pair of dancing shoes for ballroom and swing, and all my shoes are non skid so I need something that will rotate me without friction. If these shoes had more square forefoot, I think I would have kept them. I am returning because the shape of the forefoot squeezes my toes. However, if your toes are the right shape, these shoes would be fine.
