Purchased these to wear with a costume. I normally wear a size 9 but after reading the reviews I ordered these in a 9.5 and they were a perfect fit. Very comfortable and sturdy.

As always, Zappos delivers superior customer service with great products. My daughter needed these shoes for an upcoming production. They cam in a timely fashion and were everything they claimed to be. Only problem is that the sizing ran WAY small. She is normally a 4 in gym shoes and she needed a 5 1/2! But because Zappos is awesome and items ship out super fast, they arrived in plenty of time. Thanks Zappos!

Loved my first pair I received as a gift. Wore th til i had three holes. My second pair is a wide. Loved it even better. Bought this third pair as a back up and wanted to make sure I could get another wide. Have not worn them yet

Great dancing shoes for ballroom dancing. Nice heel height and the strap is just perfect. Comfortable from day one. Order a half size larger for toe room.

I love these shoes and always get compliments. They are very flattering! Next time though I would go up 1/2 size. They are a teensy bit snug. Not much, but I am a 7 and I may have been more comfortable in a 7 1/2.

I bought these for a play and they were just what I needed for minimal dancing. The heels are pretty low and the buckles are difficult to fasten quickly, but the shoes were comfortable and held up well. If I were doing more dancing or wanted something more flattering, I would consider purchasing something with higher heels.

Like others, I ended up purchasing 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, but they fit great. They were comfortable the first night I wore them dancing.

I am very satisfied with the shoes I ordered. I started dance lessons a year ago and didn't have any shoes I really liked. I will order again.

Great shoe! I ordered it for swing dancing. I have wide, flat feet and a bunion. If I size up enough to avoid tightness in the front of the shoe, the heel slips off. I decided to try the 7.5 wide and it was perfect! Love having the option of the wide width. The ankle strap keeps it from slipping. These are more comfortable for dancing than any other heels I own and the smooth sole is very helpful. That said, I still have problems with the heel after an hour or so. I rotate between these and a sneaker. Very happy with the sizing, color and price.

I ordered 1/2 size larger after reading reviews. Work well and fit is okay for my casual dancing.

Very comfortable! And I was so reluctant to get even a little heel because I always wear flats. Now I am so glad because I can move across the dance floor more easily in these shoes and I don't even feel like I'm in heels. Not only are they comfortable, but I got compliments from other dancers, who wanted to know where I got them. Big caveat...You must go one width wider than your regular shoe width. Bottom line...If Zappos has your (adjusted) size, grab them.

I'm a very casual person and am usually in my Birkenstocks. I needed a pair of shoes for ballroom dancing that wouldn't kill my feet. I took a chance on these and, so far, they are very comfortable and allow the foot to slide as is needed. Compared to some dancing shoes, they're a bit frumpy, but, for me, they work fine. My back (and feet) would not survive high heels. These definitely serve my needs.

A wonderful color for warm weather fashions. I normally have to wear a 9 1/2 narrow in dress shoes; however, after reading the reviews ordered a 10 medium & it fits beautifully. A very stable & stylish shoe. I will, however, take it to a shoemaker to have street treads put on the bottom & heel as the leather soles are too slick. Capezio knows what they are doing in designing a shoe!

I LOVE these shoes! These shoes are the greatest! They are extremely comfortable, because they have a cushy, felt inside. I love the way they look, too. They fit perfectly when I ordered them, but I was told in advance to buying them that you need to buy a half size bigger than you normally wear. The only thing I would say is negative is that they are kind of slippery on the bottom. They need to be worn a lot before it is safe to dance on a riser!

Capezio's quality product - I found the Capezio Jr. Footlight to run 1/2 size short and a medium width was too snug for my foot so I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally would wear and went to a wide width and found that this choice was perfect. The shoe is very comfortable and attractive.

Follow the Advice! I never and I mean NEVER wear a half-size larger...so I trusted myself and not the other reviewers. BIG mistake...I have worn the shoes enough and they have broken in, but I 110% recommend you order a half size larger than usual!!

Great for dance classes

The shoes are well made and look good. I bought them for dancing, and they worked just fine. Turns out I need shoes with good support, though ( says the podiatrist) and that is not these shoes.

The fit is true to regular street size. I bought size 8 and they were a bit stiff and slippery until broken in but are good now. Lose a star for being a tiny bit over priced and for being too stiff but overall very good

I ordered these for my daughter. She is normally a size 7. Her foot is on the narrow side of standard and she has fairly flat feet. Based on the reviews we ordered up a half size in the standard width. The shoes were long on her, so length-wise she probably could have stayed with her normal size. The shoes are quite narrow, however, even for her slender foot, so we were concerned the 7 would be too tight in the toe box. As for comfort, at first she thought the inner edge might irritate her skin on the inner mid foot, but she wore them around the house all day and danced in them a bit and says they feel comfortable. If you have a standard size foot you may want to consider ordering the wide.

They were noticeably short, put pressure on the tops of my toes.

My normal size is 10.5 (unavailable in many styles). For these dancing shoes, I took the suggestion of other reviewers to go up a half size or a full size. The half size (11) was tight, but the 11.5 works fine. The strap buckle is stiff and I hope it loosens up as I use it! Note that these shoes are for indoor use only, so when I get to my Irish dancing (ceili) events, I do not want to waste much time buckling the strap, so as I said I hope it stretches out some.
