I have this shoe in black and white. I have some foot problems (wear orthotics and have a bunion on one foot) and this style is very comfortable to wear. My feet are very narrow and yet I bought this shoe in a B width after being professionally fitted (this helps to accommodate the bunion). I have worn this shoe on a trip during which I hiked several miles every day and my feet felt wonderful. Great shoe!

Brooks Addiction Walker - After reading all the reviews I decided to order. I've been shopping for some time here at Zappos (BTW, the greatest!) and I think I finally found "the one". I say I think, only because the left shoe rubbed my heel slightly and started a blister. Other than that, the shoes are fantastic. I did over 60 minutes on the treadmill, even some interval jogging in them, and I was very happy with the comfort of these shoes. They have great arch support. My feet and legs did not feel wore out like they have in previous shoes I've tried. Other than the slight rubbing, I do believe these are keepers. Zappos, I'm so glad your company is so customer service oriented. I've been shopping and returning for the last month trying to find "the one", and the ordering, delivery and returning is always the same, quick and easy.

Great Shoe - I love this shoe. It is very comfortable. I am on my feet 5 hours a day. I use shoe inserts which fit in these shoes perfectly. The fit is wonderful. I just love these shoes. I will definitely order from Zappos again. Keep up the good work. Linda from Pa

I normally order New Balance but I'm glad I tried the Brooks. I have neuroma in both feet and have found the toe to be a little wider in the Brooks which is more comfortable. I will order these again as they are the most comfortable walking shoe I've found.

Not just a pretty walk in the park- I have worn this shoe style for several years. When I found it unavailable locally I tuned to the internet and found Zappos. The price was a little lower, no tax, no shipping made the purchase worthwhile. My workplace dictates this type of footwear and they hold up well. One problem…I have been wearing white or black ones and frankly I would love to see them in beige, gray, navy or even brown. Other than this mild complaint I really enjoy these shoes. PS- My orthotics fit well in them too.

Love my sneakers - These are the most expensive sneakers I ever bought but they are most comfortable with lots of support. I had problems before with my calves hurting along with my feet bottoms. My Brooks immediately stopped the hurting in my calves and feet. These are so comfortable and I will never buy a different sneaker again.

Brooks Addiction Walker - My podiatrist recommended this shoe for my foot problems. I bought white, and it has worked very well, but expensive. I found the same shoe on your site, in black, for about $10 less and no postage. Shoe fits well, it has a wider toe box than most shoes and I can actually wear a size Medium width! One problem, it has consistently caused blisters on my heels and have had to wear protection on my heels. I do not know yet if the black ones will do the same? The shoe has worn very well; I have worn the white ones nearly every day for the last four months. I would buy them again any day.

Brooks Addiction Walker - This is the second pair of shoes I've purchased from Zappos. My first were the Brooks Ariel which are outstanding. Just like the Ariel, the Walker was wonderful from the moment I put them on. What a comfortable shoe! There's so much room for my toes and the support/cushioning is unbelievable. My only regret is that I didn't find Brooks (and Zappos) years ago - I wouldn't have suffered so long with my painful feet. I have a fallen arch and excessive pronation and it's been impossible to find good supportive shoes. I LOVE these shoes and put them on first thing in the morning and wear them all day. I can't say enough good things about this shoe (and the Ariel). I purchased the women's white walker (1/2 size larger) and I even like the way they look. I will never buy shoes anywhere other than Zappos -they have completely ruined me with their customer service. The next day delivery (FREE!), the return policy and the very lovely, personal emails I get make me feel like a very special customer. Wouldn't it be great if customer service was like this everywhere?? Thank you Zappos - I'm a devoted customer.

Brooks Addiction Walker - Great work shoe! I'm a mail carrier and have tried all the uniform allowed shoes including New Balance. None compare to this shoe.

Wonderful! My job requires me to stand on my feet all day. I was getting terrible leg cramps with all my shoes, that's why I went searching for a better shoe. The pains in my legs were getting so bad I was thinking about quitting my job. The very first day I put the Brooks shoes on the pain was gone. Believe me, I'll be back to buy more of the same shoes, since I wear them out quickly. I would recommend them to anyone that has a standing job.

Brooks Addiction Walker - These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. I work in food service and am on my feet all day. I had previously purchased a pair of New Balance shoes that were similar in style, but were very stiff along the sole and I had to use new insoles for better cushioning. The only problem with the Addiction Walker is that it is definitely NOT slip resistant. If you are considering it for a wet environment such as a kitchen, keep looking! The fast delivery time and no cost shipping and return policy with Zappos is fantastic and I recommend them to everyone.

I suffer from chronic foot pain and must wear orthotics in my shoes. I bought my first pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers strictly because of a positive review written by someone who also needs to use orthotics. I can't say enough about the comfort and they run true to size. I have just purchased my second pair. They also seemed to have helped with knee pain. I hope this review will help someone else.

LOVING SUPPORT - These shoes are WONDERFUL! Being a large person, I have terrible feet. I've always used Propet shoes/sneakers because I think it’s a great product. I saw this sneaker, I took a chance in buying it, and I was amazed. These sneakers are fantastic! My feet don't hurt! They have excellent support and I can wear them all day long and when I take them off - I MISS THEM! GREAT SHOE! I'm planning to get them in black as well so I can wear them to work. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS SHOE!

The BEST walking shoe I own - I have many foot and knee problems. Because of that I searched a long time to find a shoe that I could wear. This is the only shoe that worked for me. I own two pair and will continue to buy this style. GREAT SHOE!

The best of the best! I know little about walking shoes, and even less about the terminology related to this type of footwear. However, I do know a fantastic pair of shoes when I wear them. The Brooks Addiction Walker is by far the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've ever worn! I know. I've tried them all, and had almost given up. However, my chiropractor insisted on my establishing a walking regime. (I have an inoperable back problem.) Therefore, finding the appropriate footwear was very important. I give these walking shoes my highest recommendation. No wonder there are so many reviews!

Shoes feel wonderful every time I put a new pair on, which I end up doing every 2 to 3 months (as I go through them fast) I am a nurse and on my feet all the time, I am TOUGH on shoes and my feet (with extreme pronation.) Thank you Zappos for the speedy service.

On my feet in a hosp. 12 to 20 hours a day. I work 12 to 20 hours a day in a hosp. and need good support for my feet. And I found it all in these shoes. Thank you Brooks and thank you Zappos.

I ordered this in 8 1/2 Wide but found it a tad too short so exchanged them for the size 9. They fit beautifully and are so comfortable. I can wear them all day and have happy feet.

Luvin' Brooks - Due to a heel stress fracture, Brooks Addiction Walker was recommended several years ago. I was delighted and pleased to find the shoe at Zappos for considerably less than local specialty shoe stores. Comfort, fit, control. Great shoe!!!!

I finally found a new walking shoe!! I wore Rockport World Tour Classics for years until they decided to discontinue producing them in white (whose brilliant idea was that?). I have been on the hunt for a comparable replacement - this is the one!! Great arch and ankle support. I did not have a "break-in" period with these shoes; I put them on and took off walking. They look great with jeans, shorts, capris and casual skirts. I'm addicted!!

Brooks Addiction Walker - This is my third pair of Addiction Walker's. I have heel problems and this shoe provides hours of comfort and support. What it lacks in fashion, it makes up for in support. I was very pleased with the fast delivery. I ordered the shoes after 3:00 p.m. and received them the next day.

Brooks Addiction Walker - My Podiatrist pointed out to me that there are several name brand "Walking" shoes that have soft uppers and are comfortable, but I needed a pair that provided a firm fit with motion control because of my propensity for Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes were recommended and are great. I've never had a better walking shoe.
