Brooks Addiction Walker - This shoe is comfortable and true to size. Appearance wise, it is a bit clunky, though.

Great Walker in CALIFORNIA - This is a fabulous walking shoe which gives great support to ankle and feet. I do not feel the pavement when walking in these shoes. I love the Brooks Walker so much that I bought 2 pairs, one in white & black. Order at least 1/2 to 1 size larger for maximum wear.

Great fit! I am on my feet all day as a teacher and also walk a lot. I've been looking for the right shoe for walking. With my size 10 narrow, I am excited to find a walking shoe that seems made for me! The true test will be this summer, when I step up my walking program. Zappos service is excellent.

Comfy but not graceful looking. These shoes are very comfortable. Right out of the box I put them on an went off to work. I am a Cook so I am on my feet all day these shoes are perfect. I have a narrow foot and ordered the 2A width but they seem a little wide in the toe box. Overall though a very comfortable shoe. Not very attractive though they are very bulky. Very chunky looking. But what counts is comfort to me.

Best I've found so far - I walk 3-4 miles a day, 4-5 days per week for exercise. The Brooks Addiction Walker is the most comfortable and supportive shoe I have yet found for my wide feet with their high arches. The shoes provide plenty of room for my toes and decent arch support. I am on my third pair. I tried other shoes, before and since my first pair of Addiction Walkers, but I always came back. My one complaint is the current boring color range. Black looks too Young Frankenstein, white makes me feel like Pat Boone. I prefer the older color scheme of blue, white and silver. Still, fit is what counts, and this shoe works for me.

Walking On Air - These are one of the best pair of walking shoes I have owned. I will place future orders on this site and tell all friends.

former P.W. Mionor shoe wearer - I love these shoes. After wearing P.W. Mionor shoes for 5 yrs. I thought they were the best for my foot problems. I have bunions, heel spurs, hammer toes, arthritis, pronation, knee and hip and back pain from arthritis. So far the brooks felt very comfortable from the very first. I find I have a better fit with thinner sox. My toes have more room. But my custom orthotic fits well and the shoe gives good support. Only complaint is they are a little ugly.

I purchased these shoes for work as I am on my feet for 6- 8 hours. Shoes run wider and longer which causes my foot to shift in shoe. Also after awhile there was a burning sensation on pad of foot. The next pair, I will try a smaller size in hopes the fit will be better and give me the comfort I need.

Finally!!! After 3 months of trying to find shoes that fit the criteria my podiatrist gave me - I've found it. These are truly motion control, stability shoes. They may not look outstandingly noticeable, but I think they are good-looking. I'm happy and I definitely would order from Zappos again. Super, super-fast shipping.

Not quite like the old model Addiction Walker - This shoe doesn't seem to be made quite as well as the older style was, although it seems wider through the front end and is a softer material. I don't notice the motion control being quite as good as the old style and I don't think it will hold up as well due to my needing to wear shoes often while doing barn chores. Boots aren't as easy on my heels, due to plantar fasciitis, so I wear shoes whenever possible. But, not a bad shoe although I would stick with the older style if I had the choice, and can locate it. I like the look of this newer model better than the older style though. If you aren't going to be on wet ground, I would recommend this one but maybe don't expect it to last as long.

Buy 'em! I love them! They make my feet happy! They ARE a little noisy, but the comfort makes up for that.

Finally a walking shoe I can walk in!!! I have a wide foot and have always had trouble finding a comfortable walking show. The Brooks Addiction walker feels great.

Great shoe - This shoe fits great. I wear EE and it was true to the width. Very comfortable. The only thing i wished it had was a Thicker sole . I stand all day and walk also. I don't know if it will hold up. Well made shoe!

Take a Chance... This is my first time using this particular shoe. I had no difficulty breaking it in. I would have preferred a bit more of a lower cut in the back opening of the shoe as it hits my ankles, but has not caused any discomfort. I would not hesitate to order it again.

Good looking and comfortable shoes. I wear the shoes for work & am on my feet all day. I have custom orthotics (problem feet) and these are one of the most comfortable shoes I've found. They do tend to make noise when walking though.

All Day Comfort - These shoes are very light and are comfortable all day. The soles could be a little softer I think. I have had a very hard time finding shoes that keep my feet from hurting after standing all day. These shoes are as comfortable as any I have found. I do think if the soles were softer this might improve the standing all day comfort.

Happy with shoes - I really enjoy the addiction 6 shoes so next time I will order those instead.

My favorite except for this time. I really love these shoes. They are the only ones that fit my foot which is wide in front but normal at the ankle. They are roomy and very comfortable. This time however the bottoms squeak on all surfaces. You can hear me coming. I am trying to exchange them.

Nice and Roomy – I have searched and searched for an athletic shoe wide enough to give my feet space, yet not so loose that they fall off my heel. These Addiction Walkers fit the bill. The padding in the shoe is good. It can be removed for orthotics, which I plan to do. However, there is not a lot of arch support. If you have high arches and are looking for a shoe with good arch support this is not it. But, there is plenty of toe space and room for orthotics if you need them.

Nice shoes - They are comfortable, but you still need inserts in them. I thought they would be a comfortable shoe to work in since I have to stand all day in a factory. They may be good for walking, but for standing in one place they are not that much different than my New Balance. I will keep giving them a try. Maybe in time my feet won’t be hurting so bad at the end of my work shift.

Fills the bill. I had a bad attack of plantar fasciitis, so bought this shoe to wear with orthotics and needed a much wider shoe than is normally available. This shoe filled the bill and is very comfortable with the Birkenstock orthotic. The laces are definitely too short to tie using all the holes!

Needed a support shoe after heel and ankle surgery, but this was too tight for my swollen foot, even though I ordered a D width and I normally wear a B on my good foot. I can’t really rate the support as I couldn’t get them on.

A narrow heel - I have worn New Balance for years because of the narrow heel and wide and high toe box. Brooks was recommended by my orthopedist. The heel is wider, the toe box narrower but just as high. With orthotics in, I can't say that these shoes are more comfortable. Maybe they take more wearing in.

Heavy & stiff - This walking shoe feels inflexible and heavy. Made well (like an M1 Abrams tank).
