Amazing Shoes - Wearing these shoes feel like walking on a cushion of air. They look tremendous, and feel even better!

Like walking on a cloud - I purchased these for my husband, and he wore them for an entire day the first time. His comment to me was that those new shoes are like walking on a cloud. He loves them!

Good Shoes - These were exactly what I was hoping they would be when I ordered them. They are actually more comfortable than I expected. The soles have some kind of Reebok air cushioning system that I didn't realize until I got them...extremely cushioning.

Zappos Delivers - Zappos comes through again! Product was what I expected and was delivered within 2 days.

Wow!! They are cushioned - I just bought a pair of these shoes and they are the most cushioned shoes I've ever worn! I would recommend these to anyone who stands or walks alot at work. I'm on my feet 10 hours a day. I'm very impressed.

This Rockport shoe is a very good shoe. I stand on a concrete floor all day and this shoe provides a level of comfort that Rockport does not offer in a lot of their shoes any more. As good as the old pro walker 2000 w/ the vibram sole they no longer make.

Casual Shoes - Very comfortable shoes. I tried three other pair before settling on these as these fit the best and were the most comfortable (I have wide feet so I am a tough fit). My only ding is that the style is a bit plain - not unattractive - just not as much “now” as I was hoping for - but fit wins out.

I had a pair of these a few years ago and replaced them with another brand when they wore out. So glad to get them back again. Very comfortable.

Much needed good support - I have been seeking a shoe that would offer good arch support. As a grad student, I walk a great deal during the day, and always carry a bit more weight than necessary. Just got these shoes yesterday, and the first thing I notice is the firm support at the front of my feet.

Really comfortable shoe - My wife did a great job of picking these shoes out for me! They are way more expensive than anything I would have bought, but they are also more comfortable than any business casual shoe I have ever worn. They look good with khakis as well as jeans. Lots of cushioning and excellent arch support.

A year Later... When I bought these shoes I absolutely loved them. To an extent I still do, but I find myself having to replace them already. The uppers and lowers are still in excellent shape, but I've worn through the cheap lining on the inside of the heel. I can't stand the feeling of my sock sliding across the hole in the lining. It’s a shame to have to get rid of these shoes already, but that liner just didn't hold up.

I bought the tobacco color for casual wear and was impressed enough to buy the black for work. The air-cushion insole is nice and "bouncy", but the up & down motion of the foot within the shoe rubs on the back of the heel. It caused blisters for me over a 2-day period where I did a lot of walking (a Las Vegas trip), but they've been OK for everyday use. This may not be the right shoe for those who walk long distances but it's OK for around the office. I highly recommend them if you do a lot of standing. The air-cushion greatly reduces fatigue.

Comfort from the word go - The first things I noticed about the shoe is that it is indeed comfortable from the moment you put it on. The other thing is that it has a very slight tilt backward that reminded me somewhat of the old Earth shoes (showing my age). I like the look, but not as much as the extinct Pro Walker I got several times. At this point, I would probably get the shoe again.

Nice, comfortable, but took a little getting used to... I have chronic foot pain (neuropathy) and need very comfortable shoes. These Rockports are definitely helpful. I can wear them all day with no problem. Because the footbed has a lot of "give," they may feel tight across the balls of your feet when you first put them on. Walk around a bit, and you'll see they're really comfortable. The "Tobacco" color is very sharp for a casual shoe. I bought two pairs.

Rockports or Reebok - I bought these shoes because of the DMX cushioning. I have been wearing Reebok DMX shoes and after having a hard time finding them, I thought I would try the Rockports. The Rockports are not as soft. They are OK, just may take time to get used to. They seem to be wide for the size.

I expected a little more comfort. I bought these based on customer reviews... I'm on my feet ALL day at work. For 10 hours or more and do a lot of walking around. The first day they were ok… but after the second. They joined the ranks in my closet of shoes probably not to be worn again. I went out and spent big bucks on a pair of Nike Air. ahhhhhhhhh FINALLY.. comfort! So what I look like a track star!!! hee hee..

I have been very pleased with Zappos in general. This shoe is the fourth pair I've purchased and it is very nice. Size and appearance were as indicated on the web-site. I will be buying more from Zappos.

Rockport's Blackville - This is a fine shoe but it is somewhat stiffer than previous Rockport similar shoes. The tongue is thinner and the shoe is somewhat wider. Still, it is a fine, comfortable shoe and I am happy with it. It's too bad that some of the other colors are not made in size 15.

Good shoe once it is broken in - Good shoe, but the back rubbed on my Achilles tendon a bit until I broke it in. Had to alternate other shoes on off days. It looks more like a sneaker than it does in the photo.

Nice Shoes - This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. That includes dress shoes, running shoes, or even bedroom slippers.

Cushion vs Balance - I have worn the shoe about ten times as of this review. This shoe is true to fit. Overall the combination of upper and sole are stable. However, the cushioning technology employed requires the user to adjust to the feel of the shoe. The shoe handles impact on the ball of the foot very well. It gives the feeling that a pocket of air is between the foot and the inner shoe sole. This air pocket adjusts to the walking surface and the position of the foot. It does provide some comfort from the impact associated with rolling (heel to toe) upon to the ball of the foot. However, this air pocket also makes the user feel as if the walking surface is unstable. It is some what like walking on an air mattress. This characteristic requires the user to make mental adjustments and muscle adjustments. Consequently, my pace in the shoe is deliberate and careful. I do not wear the shoe all day. In fact, I mainly wear the shoe when walking to and from the commuter rail station. These walks consume about 60 minutes per work day.

Two Equal Pair Different Sizes? Ordered two pair of size 8 in Cement color. One pair fit well, the other was small. Both marked as size 8 medium width. The pair that fits feels good, very supportive, yet cushioned well.

Never became as comfortable as I had hoped.I bought these shoes hoping for a comfortable business casual shoe. While the shoe had plenty of padding, they never became as comfortable as I hoped. I had to return the shoes to Zappos after they started putting part of my right foot asleep. However, I still recommend Rockports.

These shoes have air cushions in the toe and heel sections of the shoes. The pair I ordered seemed to have the right ball bladder off-center a bit and since they are so spongy, they caused quite a bit of pain in the ball of the big toe after a day's wear. I returned them for a refund. Other than this likely defect on the right shoe, the shoes looked good and seemed well made. Note that you will be getting a LOT of cushioning when you buy this shoe. Great for standing all day, but I didn't find them all that comfortable for walking since the sole was fairly stiff due to the bladders - you have a sort of clopping feeling with the thick, stiff sole. Also, walking down stairs was a bit strange in them. If you have to stand all day on hard floors, this is the shoe you want though.

These are great! They feel terrific, look super and are a handsome shoe!
