Very comfortable shoe! I've had Keens for years and finally decided to get a new pair. A little different model than my others...more of a shoe feel than sandal. I love the Free Asia print!! Goes with so much. I'm a size 11 and felt very comfortable and had a lot of support.

I wanted so much to have last seasons "Galapagos" style. But they sold out before I was able to buy them. Love, love these. I am a lover of Keens and these are great!

Nice sandals. However, the foot bed felt like a hard piece of plastic. If you have sweaty feet, these sandals will not work. These sandals would be perfect if Keen invested in a better quality foot bed. I would NOT recommend hiking at all in something like this. Best for beach use or walking around.

I think I'm going to love these sandals. I may re-rate to 5-stars after I wear them longer. Got for an upcoming cruise. I did order 2 pairs, one my normal size & one a half size up after reading the reviews...yep...I've gone with the 1/2 size up ones after wearing around the house. Returning the other pair. Will have to see how they wear over time & on the cruise.

These are my first pair of Keen sandals and I am very pleased with them. I have a narrow foot and high arch. I bought the 1/2 size up and it fits well. I have not "road" tested them yet, but am confident they will be just fine for hiking and river walking. They are a heavy, substantial shoe, not just a pair of flip flops.

Runs very small!! At least a full size too small. The back of the heel was so tight and had no give. Recommend going up a size, maybe a size and a half.

My husband & I were looking for a comfortable supportive water walking shoe for our upcoming trip to Hawaii .. and ordered the Newport H2. We're currently wearing them around the house to see just how comfortable and supportive they are. I have a very wide foot and high instep and at first even after opening the laces all the way, still thought they felt tight. The more I wear them, the more comfortable they feel. They are a weighty shoe with relatively good arch support. I also ordered the Whisper because it was nicer looking and it comes in great colors. It's a tough decision because the Whisper is definitely more attractive.. but not nearly as comfortable, cushioned or supportive as the Newport H2. I also find the Whisper to be a little more narrow but if you have a normal width foot, they should be fine.. If they made the Newport H2 Mineral Blue with a lighter sole it would definitely improve the look. Opting in favor of the Newport H2!

I was expecting these shoes to run a little wide, like a lot of Keens seem to do, but these do not. I usually wear a 6 1/5 - 7, got a 7 and they are none too big. Feel better with socks than barefoot due to the rather bumpy sole.

The H2 described as the "raven capri" on the website appears to be a dark gray/charcoal color with teal as an accent color. Upon opening the box, the sandals are a nasty chocolate brown with teal accents. The same experience occurred with another pair of women's sandals and a pair of men's sandals in my most recent order. Disappointed.

Really a good, well made, comfortable shoe. As a WW, this does run tight, so needs considerable breaking in. Would love for it to be made in wide.

Love the Keen Newports. Have many pairs, but this one seemed shoddily made - a few small defects here and there. The Raven color is hard to figure out. Is it brown, gray or black? I thought I was ordering gray, but they seem more like brown. Comfortable as usual, but returning them because of the weird color. I will reorder in a different color!

This would have been my third pair of the Newports and I still highly recommend them. Unfortunately they felt at least a half size too small and they looked smaller than my current pair. Too bad because Keens (and I've had several other styles) have always been very reliable.

I bought these to wear strictly in our house d/t the tile floors being so hard. These shoes do offer a temporary relief. But last night While cooking supper my feet were aching a lot! Luckily it goes away once seated. I might need a half size larger. I love the look, they are very well made, I just have feet problems.

I really wanted to keep these as they would have been perfect for my trip to Guatemala. But the back strap was just too short for my foot and I have small feet. It made my big toe nail rub against the front of the shoe. Getting a larger size would not have worked.

Shoe felt small, had to exchange for larger size. Color was called Slate Black but in reality it was brown. Exchanged for a true black color although it is two tone.

I am a very light framed male. Some of my earliest memories are of Mom and me searching for shoes that fit me. In my desperation for a good fit I have ventured into women's size sporting and recreational footwear. This excursion has not proven satisfactory. This pair of Newport H2 are just too snug hence sweaty. Hope this may help others of the Y persuasion. I also found them somewhat clunky for causal kicking around. Back they go.

Overall I love these Keens. I am full-time nomad and travel with just these and a pair of flip flops so they take a heavy beating. I wear them every day, often walk 5+ miles in a day, and am typically carrying my 30 lb. backpack. I have worn them on several long hikes and though I have gotten the occasional blister, the blisters never actually hurt when I'm in the shoes so it doesn't wind up mattering. My only complaint is that the woven tabs (I believe this is the correct name for the part I'm talking about) on the instep have torn up in less than 6 months on the last 2 pairs I've purchased. I realize I am really hard on these shoes, but still...I know people who have worn their older Keen sandals just as hard and still they lasted for years. So I don't know if this is a design flaw specific to the Newports or what, but I'm thinking about switching to the leather Venice style to see if it doesn't hold up better.

I had a pair of knock off Keen's that I loved, but can no longer find. So my quest was on to find a pair of Keen's that would work for me. I tried the Whisper on in several sizes and could not find a perfect fit - my heel always hung over the back just a bit or they were too big. So I decided to check out the Newport. These are amazing. They fit perfectly and are really heavy duty. The whisper's are light and slender on the foot which is nice for every day wear, but the Newport are rugged and ready for trail hiking.

I guess I have low ankle bones, because the straps on these hit my ankle bone it a way that would create blisters very quickly. Too bad because the colors were very nice and the footbed felt like it would be very comfortable.

In this tye dyed color. They look almost as dorky as those foamy clodhopper extruded sponge sandals that were the rage awhile back. Not sure if I am keeping them.

I loved this in the beet color. Like other reviewers said, they really do run a half size small. I ordered them in my regular size 9 and need a 9.5. Unfortunately, they weren't quite wide enough and my arch rubbed on the the spot where the webbing joined the sole on one of the sandals. I thought the men's version might have a slightly wider footbed. I tried the men's version in blue/gray, size 7.5 and love them. I highly recommend this sandal.

Great arch support for flat feet and great stability for over pronators. But I have wide feet and not enough room in toe box. I will try a half size larger.

My daughter let me try her pair of these Keens. I loved them and bought a pair for myself. The are SO comfortable, but also have wonderful support and they are cute, too! I have a high arch, so I have to undo the laces all the way to put them on; thus not a "slip on" shoe for me, but a little tugging is well worth it! I wore them doing gentle hiking and they were great.

Great shoe, rugged, fits well from first wear, protective and comfortable. I gave only 3 stars for 'comfort' only because of one complaint - my pinky toes land in a place where they get irritated and hurt after a short while wearing. it's better with socks on. Don't know if this will happen to all pinky toes or just mine. Without that issue I love these shoes for water, light hiking and casual wear. Well made.

I was looking for summer hiking shoes from Keen; I ordered these, the Owyees and the Venice H2s. These were the winners! They had the best arch support of the bunch. I do wish that the style was a little cuter - I think I would prefer fewer straps and better color combinations, and the shoes make your feet look pretty wide in the toe box. However, comfort won, as it should for hiking shoes. The toe box's width allows plenty of space for your little piggies to stretch out. I am noticing a tiny bit of rubbing on the back of one of my heels, but I am hoping that they just need a little breaking in, especially since I do not see other reviewers' commenting on that issue. I cannot wait to hit the trails with these.
