I ordered size 8 but I couldn't even get half my foot in the shoe. There are no sizes written on the shoe, so I don't know what size was sent. I am exchanging it with a different style and color, hope I get sent the correct shoe and size next time.

I agree with the other review that says Keen has shortened its women's shoes! I usually wear a size 6.5 and a size 7 in Keens. My toe bumped the end of this shoe in a size 7, so I'm returning for a size 7.5. I'm skeptical that it will not be too large, but I'll try. I'm really annoyed that Keen discontinued a three-season Mary Jane that I loved! Now, I am having a hard time even finding one style I like and can live with by them. I've had four pairs of Keens and have to say, too, they've changed and not for the better. If this shoe doesn't work, I'm done with them...it is so disappointing when companies change so much that loyal customers have to go elsewhere.

What I think: I think that Keen should consider carefully all of the ladies out here who wear a size 12 shoe...and make them! In my circle of friends, there are several...so I am not the only one!

I purchased these sandals to wear for wet landings in the Galapagos where I could do hikes wearing the same shoes. They performed and fit flawlessly. I love the adjustable, quick release/tightener toggle, works great. My only complaint at the time, is they take forever to dry,the top straps should be made of a better quick dry material, my straps were still very wet 24 hours after removing them. Once on a short hike, when they were wet, I did get a blister on the ball of my foot but otherwise they were very comfy to wear, decent arch support too. But my HUGE complaint is the entire sole of both sandals peeled completely off while on an 8 mile hike on a dirt & rocky trail, crossing a creek twice outside Yelapa, MX. Luckily these sandals have a 2nd soft sole so I was able to get back still wearing what was left of my sandals. I've owned these sandals for about 6 years but have worn them on just a few float trips over this period of time, so there is no way the soles should have fallen off! I'm calling Keen to get my money back, soles peeling off should not have happened, especially with such little wear! FYI, I own other Keens and they all have held up very well. Hopefully this pair are lemons.

I bought these shoes for some hiking on St. John. I wanted something that would go from trail to beach. I overpronate and found these shoes to have absolutely no arch support at all. I would not recommend them to people that need arch support, stability support or motion control in their shoes. I don't think they are advertised that way, but since they are advertised as an anatomic footbed I assumed they would offer support, not so. I believe the shoes were well constructed and I did give them to a friend that found them to be fine...she doesn't have foot problems. I did not buy the shoes from Zappos.

The soles of this shoe are too slippery to wear on any damp or wet surface - way too slick. Very sad, I love Keens and they messed up the base of this Newport shoe!

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are so stylish and comfortable, and I splurged because I was planning a trip to northern Minnesota and knew I'd want shoes to wear in the lake as well as hiking. The first time I wore them in the lake, where I was essentially wading in knee-high water with my two year old, the toe box pulled away from the straps. What a disappointment. I wore them the rest of the week because I didn't have a backup, getting more and more upset with Keen each time for selling me such a poorly-made product. I figured I'd get at least a couple of summers out of them. I'm going to contact the company to see if they'll repair or replace them. My $10 water shoes from Wal-Mart held up better than these. On the up-side, they were comfy to walk in before they fell apart.

I couldn't get the shoe on. I have a very high arch and instep, and consequently could not slide my foot in without the ability to pull the back strap over my heel. The back strap had no give at all and was short of the back of the shoe, making it impossible for me to pull the strap over my heel. I have arthritis in my hands, making a tough pull impossible. Definitely not an easy on and off. Fortunately, Zappos exchange made it so easy.

I really wanted this shoe, but unfortunately I have a very high instep and it was impossible for me to get the back strap out from under my heel once I got my foot into the sandal. The back strap was a good 1 1/2 inches shorter than the heel and had no give or stretch whatsoever. I struggled enough to know that on a 10 day hike it would prove too difficult to get them off and on. If I could have managed the back strap they would have been wonderful, I have arthritis in my hands so it was just too difficult to get them on. I was very disappointed and I envy those that managed to get them on as they are without a doubt a good walking sandal.

These really aren't good sandals. They are hot, itchy, and designed in such a way that anyone with a shorter pinky toe will have that toe sticking out of the shoe uncomfortably. I've done everything to make these shoes comfortable and they are just a bad design. They even look bad on my feet. Really, not the kind of product I expect from Keen.

I bought this Keen N.H2 to replace a similar pair in leather I had for many years - at least 10 years and in fact probably more! I had used them in sea water, to bike, to hike, to garden, and more. My new pair was a huge disappointment because of a huge drop in quality. I wore the new pair one day for a total of 6.6 miles in Zion Park were most of the trails were paved. At the end of the day the light color rubber along the sole had numerous cracks by the heel, the gluing of the inner sole to the outer band was giving way also along the heel sections, and the suede tongue stitched on the ankle collar of the right foot became undone with thread billowing. Other small details showed very poor workmanship. I am terribly disappointed with Keen.

These shoes make my feet look huge and clunky and also they are very uncomfortable as the strap puts too much pressure on the back of my heel. I would not recommend these.

Too bad! Really wanted these shoes to fit but must be cut for different foot shape. Love the look and the material but straps left red welt on my small toes. Too bad as I was looking forward to wearing these sandals.

If you like this shoe consider yourself fortunate if it fits. No other recommendation.
