I love the fit except my pinkie toe isn’t quite long enough so it gets stuck on the strap sometimes.

Fit and size were fine...rather heavy shoe.

SO disappointed with some obvious changes in the Newport H2! I have a 2-year old pair that was always plenty wide, soft inside and has a perfect fit. This year's Newports, even from Keen itself, are narrower and rougher feeling inside. The top of the sandal presses down on the top of the foot much more than my old ones. And one color I tried had hard spots at the sides of the heel, which you'd constantly feel when walking.

My definition of a well fitting shoe, is when I notice I haven’t thought about my feet in a long while during the day. Keens are like that. I have arthritis in both big toes and usually hate most shoes. Keens are the exception.

I have always bought Keen sandals and literally lived in them until I moved to a Tennessee winter. During the rest of the year it was Keen Venice H2 but now, few available and so I tried Newport H2 ( above). The colors grand but, once on, so tight and no give. I did not give up though. I remembered in the past, once the shoe stretcher we have was placed on the shoe for several days, I could enjoy the shoe. I believe it was because I have a wide foot, so warnings to those with wide feet! The shoe stretcher always works well, so it is a wise investment. It is worthy to note that inside the shoe it can be a bit scratchy rough at first, but guaranteed after wear it smoothes out nicely. Since I have flat feet with a propensity for plantar fascitis, I appreciate the good arch of Newport H2. Sorry it needed to be stretched, maybe that is a noteworthy point to bring up to the Keen manufacturers. I wear a 9 1/2.

I may change my ratings as I wear these shoes, and will explain. In the past I always ordered Keens Venice H2 but the colors dwindled down to dark and same so I sensed they were pushing Newport H2 and after I read the reviews here it seemed to fit what I needed. Flat feet, wide toe box, need for better arch. I literally wear these shoes all the time except when I switch to Brooks tennis shoes in the snowy winter in TN. I followed the suggestion of ordering a half size up which was a 10. I got the immediate delivery and tried to put the Newports on and could not even get my foot in there. But what I have to do with all the Keens every year is stretch them for several days and then all works well. So I am stretching now and hoping for victory.

It took many tries to get the sizing right on this shoe and feel they run a full size small - probably because the toe box will hit your toes if you order your correct US size. The shoe is really ugly on and my husband calls me Bozo when I where them-I agree they are ugly on. That said, I like the arch support and the toe coverage for when I do summer yard work. I will forgo looks for a practical, comfortable, supportive shoe that I can wear all day without inserts.

Eh. I really want to like these shoes, but they aren’t comfortable. The “pebbled” design on the insole isn’t comfortable. After wearing them for a few hours, the texture of the insoles (liner) begins to hurt my feet. They are durable and still look great after having them for over a year. Just not made for me.

I love these shoes but they run small. I usually take a 9.5-10 and the 10 was way too small, the 10.5 was still too tight, needed an 11.

My foot felt too cramped, cute but don't think it works for me.

I wanted these for water aerobics but I found these shoes to be pretty stiff so I am returning.

I normally wear a ten and they felt a bit small for me. The large rubber sole covering the toes makes the shoe very sturdy--but hard on the toes--especially since I don't plan on wearing socks with these shoes. For this reason, I decided to exchange the shoes for a larger size. I imagine these will be a great hiking shoe. Appreciate the great Zappos customer service and ability to exchange with ease and free shipping.

Very cute shoe...however, the left one dug into my heel and I felt that a lot of walking would eventually cause a blister. Sorry I had to return!

I've sworn by this sandal for years!!! Order a new color every summer. So when I ordered this new pair was very surprised that they were really small. Will order a half size up and see what happens.

All around love the shoe and agree with the highly positive reviews. I'm proud of Keen for getting out of the box a bit and going for the rainbow effect - makes the shoes more fun. So, why the four and not five stars? Maybe minor, but a little surprising, that I slipped and fell in them twice. That said, the conditions were an extreme rain event and one slip was on the deck of a sail boat and the other after we got back to the dock in the restroom. Everything was wet and it was a tile floor, and fortunately I didn't hurt myself during either slip, but I noted it had happened. I know the curse of Vibram soles on hiking boots is wet wood, so it isn't unusual for soles to meet some conditions they don't like, just don't remember my last pair of keens - that I wore to death and on slick boat decks - never failed. And for a 'water shoe' the one thing the soles should handle well is extreme wet conditions. Could be the shoe, could be me, but it was noted. Otherwise, the shoe has been great for fit and comfort for the few weeks I've had it. And I do like those rainbow colors jazzing up the black. Also noted, my husband, in his Tevas never slipped in the same conditions. Again, not a controlled experiment, but noted.

Fit well, my foot didn't slip when wet in the shoe. Great for navigating Rocky shores.

These shoes felt just a bit small. I'm not sure why Keen's sandals are running a 1/2 size smaller these days. The support is great though. I'm just going to exchange them for a larger size.

I ordered both the Newport H2 and the Keen Whisper. The Whisper felt lighter and cooler but they were too narrow for me. The Newport was much wider. It's a sturdier shoe, which will be better for days of walking. Beware that both the H2 and the Whisper run at least a ha H size small.

Seemed like it would fit ok, but my coworkers agreed that they were the least attractive of the keens i’d ordered. Also, there was an issue with the webbing on one of the feet where it felt scratchy/pokey and I could tell it wouldn’t be comfortable on a longer walk.

I bought these for a cave tour that required crossing rivers, swimming, and climbing slippery rocks and these were perfect for every terrain I encountered. I also went on two more hikes in the rainforest and they were very comfortable. I did listen to some reviewers and bought 1/2 a size larger than my usual 6.5 and I wish I had just stuck with my usual size- I am almost always a 6.5 but was afraid they would be too snug. They ended up fitting alright but I had to tighten them more than I would have liked. Get your usual size!

Unfortunately I had to return these as they run too narrow. Have other Keene sandals that are wonderful in every respect. I'll look for a model that has fewer cross straps as do my others. That might be the difference that made these too narrow & uncomfortable.

This shoe fits to size. It is very wide from the ball of the foot through the toe area but not uncomfortably wide. The rubber toe covering is very pronounced. For me, it is not the shoe to wear if you want to be cute. But if you want to be semi-cute and wear a sturdy hiking, water shoe that will protect your toes this is the shoe for you! Arch support is as low to low-med but enough to know it exists. Unfortunately, my budget is limited and I need a hiker/wader that is slightly cuter to wear when not in the woods. If I had the budget, I'd keep this one. I'll be back to get you Newport H2!

I suddgest buying a Half size larger ...As other customers suddgested.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes ever. I could wear them all day without issues. The only problem I found was that they were very hot for my feet. My feet tend to perspire a lot, and because of that I could not wear them, especially on hot days.
