Great shoes!! These are my second pair of Keen Newport H2 shoes. I have had the first pair for a couple of years and have worn them nearly every day during the warm months here in Montana. I wanted a second pair because they can get smelly because of the closed toe.

I have very deformed feet from arthritis, bunions and hammer toes, the room in the toe box is very helpful. The arch support weight bearing is also very good for my feet. These are by far the most comfortable shoe I wear. They are also great in TX hot weather.

This is my favorite "shandal." Unlike others I've owned it's amazingly comfortable: the fit is perfect, and the lining is soft: nothing to pinch or scratch bare feet. My only nitpick is the large toe bumper that makes it look sort of like a clog, but extra toe protection is a great thing for off-road use. So, I'm extremely happy.

I have never had good luck with sandals, maybe it's because the exposure of my toes? But I needed something for a family canoe trip, so I ordered these, because of Zappos' return policy; it makes it easier if I didn't like them. Zappos' fast ships rocks! Within two weeks of buying these shoes, I had walked the streets of Washington, DC in the heat, climbed the basalt trails of the Columbia River Gorge, and waded lakes and streams of central Oregon. Bought these expecting to use them as a knock around the cottage pair of sandals. Instead, I ended up getting roped into an 8 mile hike through uncharted trails, mud bogs, rocks, rotten logs and inclines steep enough to make my ankles burns. But these sandals held up like a champ and after a rinse in the lake, they looked good as new. I couldn't be happier with them.

I was skeptical about these but bought them to replace Crocs (which I can't bring myself to wear anymore). They are not the best looking shoes but are a definite upgrade, are more comfortable, more substantial and fit much better. I have already gotten a lot of wear out of them working in the yard, etc.

I love these things, what more can I say. I ware them most of the time, VERY comfortable. Normally, I ware a 10E but the 10-1/2Ds fit perfectly so I would say they may run a 1/4 to a 1/2 size smaller. Haven't warn them in the water yet, in fact, the rocky beaches at Block Island made me buy these as soon as I got home I would recommend these to a friend.

First off, I have to say that these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever come across. The reason for my low rating is the sandal's durability. I have had two pair of these sandals and within a couple of months, they started to fall apart in the toe and heel area. I didn't bother to contact Keen when the first pair came apart, since I bought them at an outlet store. I fixed them with my Speedy Stitcher, and they are still hanging in there.
I called Keen customer support about the second pair. I have had them 5 months and they are starting to come apart. Unfortunately, I didn't get a favorable response from customer service. My wife is active duty military and we are stationed in Puerto Rico. The representative said that they can't ship a replacement pair to Puerto Rico (surprising since there are Keen dealers here in PR). She said to fill out the warranty and they'll "see what they can do..." Time will tell if I can get a replacement pair.
Again, they are super comfortable and I have been using them for all kinds of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, kayaking, etc.). It's just a shame that the quality is just not there.

I've had several pairs of Keens sandals. I love their styles, and versatility, but have had problems recently with the stitching at the heel strap area. This has occurred on my 2 most recent purchases, within months of buying them. As a result, I've returned both pair & am currently sandal-less for the summer, as I haven't found an adequate replacement. I believe it would be helpful if Zappos included a Durability review section, as the 3 categories don't address this most critical element.

These are very nice shoes. Based on the recommendations of others, I bought half a size larger and they fit perfectly. With no break in period, I wore them hiking in the southwest desert and northwest mountains with absolutely no problem. I own other Keen shoes so I should not have been surprised since every pair that I have worn has always been a quality product and caused no problems. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I had been searching for inexpensive sandals for months. I was at a mall in NJ and popped into the LL Bean store there assuming my string of disappointments would continue. I tried on the Bean sandals that are similar to these Keens and while the price was right the fit was just OK so I decided to pass. I was going to leave the store but at the last second I asked to try on the Keens and I am so glad I did. As soon as I put my foot into one of them I knew I was going to make the purchase. I have flat, wide feet and these fit me absolutely perfectly. They seemed a bit pricey at first but you really can't put a price on good footwear so that thought left my mind almost immediately. I think I paid $89 at the store so if you have a Bean store nearby I suggest you go there first. In all honesty though if these sandals last as long as I think they will the extra $11 is trivial.
I had two minor conerns but not enough to warrant taking away a full star:
1) I was afraid they'd be sweaty. So far I've worn them a handful of times around town for a few hours at a time with minimal sweating so that's no longer a concern.
2) I am a little concerned that the rear strap will eventually wear out since you have to give the loop on the back a decent pull to get it up onto your heel. I don't think it'll be a problem any time soon but that seems to be the one weak point in the sandal's design. Many other designs use Velcro which would allow for more adjustments but doesn't look as nice and also wears out. It's a trade-off.
All-in-all I'd say this is a top-notch sandal and seemingly worth the money. I'll be heading to the beach in a few weeks where I'll really be able to test them out but I don't anticipate any problems whatsoever.
