This is a great all purpose sandal with siped soles that even make it a deck shoe. This is my third pair and the bright color is different for me. I love them.

Poor choice - the shoe is quite heavy and theres poor air flow. Feet get soggy after a while which kind of defeats the purpose of wearing this kind of a design. The sole is particularly prone to not dispersing moisture from the bottom of your foot. overall I would not recommend this shoe.

Keen sizing is never quite straightforward, nor are my son's always growing feet. I had to exchange them for a different size, after sizing based on Euro sizes. These are great shoes. My first pair lasted eight years before I realized that though they still looked great they did not have any traction any more. It is great that they are washable, as they stink after awhile. They are a good product, and it is nice to find them on sale.

I bought these for my husband. He was happy with them. Fit comfortably. True to size. The only thing they are snug to put on. The back strap is stiff to pull out to slide foot in, but he thinks it should stretch the more he wears them, otherwise made well.

These sandals have only one flaw. They are huge. What I did not realize before purchasing them is that the only tie system is the yellow lace lock which works like a lanyard. You cannot tie these sandals nor does it have Velcro attachments. The stability in this case is greatly compromised. How can you walk distances in shoes that you cannot tie or can barely adjust the lacing system? Otherwise the hybrid idea is great but why not go the extra mile and add Velcro or allow us to tighten the fit. They are good for the beach or around the pool/boat/house. These will not be going on any walks anytime soon.

Love these things, very comfortable and great to just kick around in. Absolutely, buy for vacation near water. Block Island is rocky after Sandy (storm) so these were perfect. Normally I ware wide (E) but these fit great. I did have to buy a 1/2 size larger, this I, found, is normal for Keens. Bought some woman's Keens for my wife, also had to be a 1/2 size larger, also a wide foot. Size 8 fit her 7-1/2 foot just right.

1st - Zappos customer service is very customer satisfaction oriented. No worries! My Keen Newport H2's were perfect for Costa Rica! Rain Forest, Zip Line, Pacific Ocean Kyaking, Pool, Hiking, 100% satisfied! Very comfortable! Purchase a 1/2 size larger, perfict fit!

Love 'em! Super comfy, stable while walking. Great traction. Wear them in the lake, hose 'em off good as new. My 2nd pair! The 1st pair is still wearable from 6 years ago!

I've gotten addicted to Keen sandals - these are my 'formal' black sandals. They are extremely comfortable and seemingly indestructible. For whatever reason, Keens fit me perfectly (though they run a little small) and give excellent support. Love these things!

This is my third pair of Keens. This style is comfy from the get go, and I plan to wear them all the time. I really enjoy the color I got, Forest Night/Comfrey/backlit. I will swear by my Keens to anyone who will stand to listen to me rave about them!

Bought these for trip to Costa Rica, and they were perfect. Very comfortable and good for transitions from dry to wet to dry, etc. Sand does get stuck (and dries) between your feet and soles; just takes some scrubbing to get it out. The style/appearance takes some getting used to, but is worth the utility of these shoes.

The sandals just arrived. My shoe size is 12, but my podiatrist suggested that walking/hiking/trekking/running shoes be a half size larger to allow for expansion. I have been trying to find a sandal that could do double duty while traveling in Europe to avoid bringing two pairs of shoes. These seem to fit the bill. They will work just fine on the canal barge, walking trails and wearing them with dark socks for evenings. Based on comments about their size and the lack of a 12.5, I ordered the 13. I am glad I did. The 13 is more like a 12.5, so that worked. As for comfort I have been walking around in them for a couple of hours; they are comfortable and the arch support seems just right. I also have a high arch and these fit it nicely. I like the toe protection. Overall I do like these sandals. Last year while walking across Spain I would slip into [Alligator named product] at the end of the day. Those were comfortable after several grueling hours of walking, but the Keens give me a more secure feeling.

I've had my Keens for about three years, but most of that time they sat in my closet. I'd occasionally take them out to wear on bike rides, but I usually preferred my trusty Chacos for hiking (gravel, dirt, etc tends to get stuck in Keens). I've recently moved to Singapore, and I got my Keens out for a three hour urban hike across town. I was surprised at just how comfortable they were, and I wished that I had started wearing them long ago. That was last week - just now I put them on again to wear for another long hike across town, and I noticed that the stitching at the ankle where the heel strap attaches has completely fallen out after the last hike. For shoes that are supposedly rugged and made for outdoor wear, these things are surprisingly delicate. Unfortunately, since I got them so long ago I can't return them (even though they've hardly ever been worn), so I'm stuck with them. I see several other reviewers who are saying similar things about their Keens, so please beware about the poor build quality on these shoes.

Love these shoes. They are very comfortable right out of the box. Mine were a tiny bit on the small side. By that I mean that once on my foot there is little slack to adjust the laces tighter. Front to back the fit is perfect so maybe my foot is just a little bigger than normal.

I discovered the Keen Newport H2 prior to moving to Taiwan to teach. I thought they were a nice looking sandal. Little did I know that I would wear these shoes daily for 50 of the next 52 weeks in Taiwan while at work, biking (no car), and hiking. I continued to wear them back home in the States on a daily basis for another 8 months. This is a solid, good looking, multi-purpose sandal. Just replaced them with an identical pair (why change?) from Zappos. Great price and timely shipping.

I've been walking in the Newport H2's for almost a month now. I want to give it a 5 star rating but Keen fell a wee short with failure in the lacing system. First the good: They are extremely comfortable to walk in, even distances with a light backpack on. First set of sandal/walkers ever I could say that about. Fit my feet snug and so far I've not noticed any rubbing and/or blisters. Unfortunately, as I was pulling the bungee lace to tighten them up, the lace snapped from the top, and there is no way to repair it. I've tied it off to itself so it is still wearable but for a sandal that is supposed to be so rugged, I was disappointed. Hopefully Keen fixes the bungee lacing system so it is stronger at the connection to the plastic grip in future editions because other than that it's a great sandal.

Love these shoes! Usually take a EE width but these were D width and they feel great.

Great fit, true to size, and arch is good. Taking them on a hiking vacation to Zion soon; will let you know how they perform.

This is my fourth pair of Keens. I am on my feet all day long and am constantly going. The support they offer is great and working in a kitchen they hold up well to all the stress!

This is my husband's third pair of Newports. They are particularly great these days as he has developed dementia and has difficulty with his shoes but with the Newport he gets the support and stability he needs and can wear them year round with socks and they are easy on and off with no laces or ties. They have been a great solution.
