Shoes run small, returned for bigger size. WTF lost $25 on this return

Fantastic shoes, but I had to order an 11 to fit even though I normally wear 9.5-10 in other shoes.

My husband loves Keens and has worn them exclusively, except when he had to wear combat boots, since since 2003. HIs first pair lasted nearly 8 years. His second about 5 1/2. This last pair started falling apart after 2 months, and now at 9 months he can no longer wear them as the seams are coming apart. I'm pretty shocked at how quickly they deteriorated. He's now trying to decide whether he jumps to Tevas or Chacos. Its a shame really because he was such a loyal customer, but their lack of customer service and poor quality has totally put him off. Zappos is still pretty great though!!!

I have owned a bunch of the Keen Newport H20. I love these sandals. They fit well and I can be out all day in them. They are indestructable. However I have found that the sandals that do not have a dark foot bed seem to be not as comfortable as the ones that the dark foot bed. Black and Stone grey never really were as comfortable as the Black, India ink and Rust or several others that have the dark foot bed. Has happened 2-3 times to me. I wore them, so can't return them, but am very careful about getting only the dark footbed.

Suburb quality and comfort. Very durable. Fit true to size. Perfect for shoes needed for rafting trip!

I've worn these sandals for a number of years with no problems. This purchase was to replace my previous, loved sandals. Keen sandals IMO have worked well for me, and I can wear them without a problem-right out of the box. I love the new color choices-yet the quality and fit is the same great experience that I have had with my Keens for years!

The fit was perfect. This is my third pair of Keens. I like the toe protection feature for when we go boating. I ordered a size 13. Great comfort & support!

I usually wear a size 8 in shoes. I have ordered similar Keen sandals in the past, and have ordered them in 8's, but they have felt loose, even after pulling the lace tight. I went with a half size (7.5) smaller with these. They are very snug! no need to cinch up the lace. My old Keen sandals didn't have an open heel, and I'm not sure if I like the open heel on these. Something to get use to I guess.

I'm dedicated to this brand, have owned 6 or 8 pairs of Newport style Keenes through the years. Seems like the quality has gone downhill though. Straps are ripping, glue is failing, with no changes in my hiking or water activity methods at all. I'll buy one more pair as a final test.

My old Keens blew out moving my son into the dorm. Caught on something and upper pulled out of sole. I've had them for many years so I wanted to replace them with something the same. (Not sure if the old ones were in the Newport series, but similar in design of upper and identical in tread.) The new ones don't have as much give in the heal and are more difficult to put on. KInda wish they had a size 13.5. I've been wearing them a lot hoping to stretch the heal a bit. Usually prefer to wear boots while moving and doing other yard work. I have to admit once on, these hold up well to pushing a lawn mower on uneven ground. These are tight enough that I have to put them on as loose as they adjust. I do really like the purple color. No confusing these with my son's.

Like a few other reviews I am having an issue with the straps falling sort under normal wear and tear over the past 90 days.

Not what they used to be, sad to say. I've been wearing Keen Newport sandals pretty much daily for 16 years. After many years of consistent fit and performance, the most recent replacements I ordered feel snug to the point of discomfort. (Many other reviews attest to this.) I looked at my most recent comfortable pair and they said "Made in Cambodia". The uncomfortable pairs say "Made in Mexico". So I conclude Keen has recently changed its manufacturing facilities (and assumedly, manufacturing cost) that has resulted in the change in fit. Both pairs are size 11, but the Mexico-manufactured pair is over a half-inch smaller in the ankle opening diameter. No wonder they feel snug. I have no idea why Keen would deliberately screw up its most successful product but ... I will be switching to a different brand.

The shoes were great. Sometimes keeps are snug and then get better with age. These are a nice fit. Purchased them for my husband. He loved the color.

Fit is about right. Last pair I had 10 years ago is a little sturdier shoe, but this new pair is still good.

Not as heavy a shoe as my 1st pair, 10 years ago. Maybe a good thing. Have worn them several times and they are ok. I think they will hold up fine

I have a high instep so these were a little tough to slip on at first, but very comfortable once they were on. Like all Keen's they feel indestructible. Great all-purpose summer footwear! Well, maybe not job interviews or funerals.

Fits well, easy to slip on and off yet stay on once tightened.

This shoe seems to be exactly the size that fits me - but I can't get my foot through the opening. I can't get either of my feet INTO the shoe. Very frustrating. Why design a shoe that you can't get your foot into?

Perfect My second pair, previous ones the soles wore out. Great for walking, shopping, and everyday use.
