The box was marked size 13 but the sandals were size 12, and were clearly used. Zappos doesn't even check returned items. Very disappointed in Zappos

Love Keen but this was a too small. He is a 10.5 so I ordered and 11 but it didn't fit. I sent it back and have ordered a 12. I gave one stars as it is hard to know if it's comfortable if you can't get your foot inside.

I normally wear size12.5 athletic shoes. However, that size was not listed for the KEEN Newport H2. Therefore a size 13 was recommended. I'd be much happier with a 12.5.

Full size smaller maybe more

I go hiking a lot and these shoes are perfect. Cool in temperature and supportive and tough for rough terrain. I love them.

Caution! I needed to go a full size larger than normal. Otherwise, love Keens. Wish they had better arch support.

Little tight at the elastic portion but sure this will streach with use as did my last pair.

My third pair and I love them.

So these sandals have been around for quite a long time. I am a long time Keen shoe fan and these are my first H2. I was on the fence with these as many commenters noted they do not work with wide feet. For context, I wear 11 in Keen shoes & boots, which are known to be accommodating for wider feet. New Balance is another go to of mine and I have found that EE or EEEE in some versions fit me best. Thus my initial reluctance on these. I noted others comments to go 1/2 size up, which I did. The quick tie laces with my feet are at the very end, there is no adjustment option at this point. Fine. These honestly feel like 11's toe to heel. Initially when I got them and put them on, they were difficult to get on and tight. After wearing them in the house for a bit, they definitely loosen up and are easy to get on/off. Put the heel of your foot on the back of the sandal so it's under your heel, push forward and that's it. Very comfortable sandals and I like the style. The forefront of the shoe is wide and what I expect from Keen. The middle of the sandal is more narrow, like D narrow. While I wish it were wider and more accommodating for wider feet, it works. What I would say to others with wide feet: If you are on the fence, try them but go at least 1/2 size up. Zappos generous return policy will allow you to return/exchange if it doesn't work. If you intended to wear these with socks for any reason, you may need to go 1 full size up. I think had I ordered the 11 as I normally do with shoes, they may have been too small toe to heel and certainly I'd be concerned with being able to get the sandal on. So far so good with these, hopefully they hold up like the other Keen shoes and boots I have worn through the years.

in leather shoes I take a 10.5 this was ordered as an 11 and fit well. For what its worth I wear 11.5 in a Nike running shoe

I run between a 9/9.5 and these fit me plenty big as a 9. Very comfortable during my ride on a muddy atv ride and hiking through streams/rivers. All black made them somewhat cuter than most watershoes!

Something has happened to Keen sandals since I last bought a pair of Newports about 6-7 years ago. I can't even come close to getting these Newport H2 or the current Newport on my foot. The length and width would be fine if I could get them on, but the size of the foot opening is way smaller than on my older Newports, and it doesn't stretch much at all. Apparently someone at Keen has decided all men have low insteps. I had the same issue with a pair of Rapids H2 I tried. At least on those I could unhook the velcro strap behind the heel, but once my foot was inside the velcro strap was too short to close again. It's really a shame, because I switched to Keen when Teva changed the design of my former favorite closed-toe sandals, and now I can't wear Keens either. You wouldn't think it would be so difficult to find a quality pair of closed-toe sandals that fit.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Size was perfect. Very good for walking on hard surfaces - good cushion

This is my hubbies 2nd pair. I think his 1st pair were over 15years old. He literally wore the bottoms off of his 1st pair. I needed to order a 1/2 size up from his typical size.

This is a comfortable shoe. There was no uncomfortable rubbing or fit. Would buy again!

Good looking and good fitting. I especially like the cord tightener that lets me tighten my sandals for pond work that previously fed two sandals to the pond gods.

I have worn keen sandels for years.After trying 2 styles with the same size as my prior ones I am extremely unsatisfied .they are too stiff ,uncomfortable and difficult to adjust

Def order a half size bigger than your usual size. Very comfy. Great for daily walking or splashing by the pool. My son and I love our Newport!!!
