Nice water shoes - After years of wearing Tevas for water shooes, I was in the market for something that had closed toes but still dried quickely and gave good traction. This shoe fills the bill nicely.

Excellent Boat Shoe - Excellent boating sandal. I love the fact that it has a closed toe and non-marking soles. Not great for the beach as sand tends to get trapped in the toe. Overall, highly recommended.

MUST USE SOCKS OUTSIDE OF WATER. You need to wear these with socks if you aren't putting your feet in water. The insoles of these sandals have zero breathability and WILL MAKE YOUR FEET SWEAT! To prevent strong foot sweat odors socks are required to provide space for air and moisture to circulate. All that aside, they are generally wide. If you have wide feet order 1 full size below normal. Medium to narrow width footed persons order regular size.

Good outdoor sport sandal - The Keen Newport is a very good all around outdoor sport sandal. It can be worn for casual walking around and dining as well as for hiking up mountains and through streams. The sole is sturdy with plenty of support and traction for hiking through rocks and dirt. A good looking and functional shoe that I will be able to use for many occassions.

Keen Sandals - Great sandal, very comfortable, wear all the time

Width was fine, and I've got a narrow foot. But, the front of my toe rubbed in both shoes. I even cut my toenails short and tried them on again. That wasn't the problem. Nails weren't it. The end of my toe was rubbing. I could feel it as I walked across the room. Tried them on, three different days. Tried to talk myself into believing they just needed breaking in. Started to wear them out, when my wife pointed out I was complaining about being uncomfortable and hadn't even gotten to the door. Took them off and realized I was going to develop a blister. Bummed because my old pair, which I've had since at least 2017, fit great. Unfortunately, the soles fell off of them. Bummer, because the tread was not worn. I'm going to exchange these for a 1/2 size bigger and see if that helps. My fear is that they will be too much longer. Also, that that will gain width, which I don't need.

I normally buy a 13 so the first pair I ordered was a 13 return for a 14 I am now wearing a 15 but very happy

Even though this was the same style and fit as another pair I have (but made w/nylon uppers), the shoes were really uncomfortable- tight, rubbed at the heel and seemed to have no support.

KEEN Newport heel back strap is NOT ADJUSTABLE AND WILL STRETCH BEYOND USE FOR SAFE HIKING. This otherwise great shoe should be redesigned with an adjustable heel strap (with Velcro?). I like the shoe so much I just order new ones well before they wear out due to this flaw--Maybe Keen likes the extra profit. BEWARE!!!

Very heavy & clunky for me - I had to order a mens sandal to accomodate bunion & hammertoes- though the sandal fit it was not for picky older me who still likes feminine shoes that hide my flawed feet- I replaced these with Keen Whisper sandal which comfortably hides my eldertoes .

I bought these to replace my husband's well-loved Keen Newports. Purchased the same shoe in the same size, but they were so small he could barely get his instep through the opening. He had tried a few pairs of Newport IIs (with the synthetic uppers instead of leather) in a store a few days prior and had the same problem, even when he tried sizing up, so we know it wasn't simply one mismarked pair. Returned the shoes.

9.5 was too small for my 9.5 foot. I returned them.

Running small. I have a pair of Keen sandals same style, size 10. I can wear socks with them. The new ones, same size 10, are easily a half size small on left without socks.

Been wearing these leather Newport's for years, because I have wide feet. Finally ordered a new pair ... very disappointed in the width, the foot bed is more narrow, they are narrower than "older" version/models. I have found that with the newer oxfords also. Being made in China, I am assuming they use Asian feet for sizing, big mistake. Will send these back and try Teva's Omnium leather. Very disappointed.

I lived in my Keen Newports for 5 years. The new edition is smaller and tighter and heavier. Keen blew it!

I bought them right before vacation and had only these to wear, and wore them for the first time on vacation. Initially so uncomfortable that I nearly bought new ones on vacation and sent these back. I put bandages on my feet where they rubbed, and on the back of the inside of the sandal where thread tie-offs were bulky and causing the rubbing on the top and sides of my feet. After a few days they were mostly tolerable and my initial blisters started to heal, and after a week they seem pretty good. Winter now here, won't get to wear them again until next year. Hoping they are still okay then and that it wasn't callouses on my feet that made them okay. At this price though I'd have expected a more comfortable shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Keens sandals. When I first received them, they felt a tiny bit small even though I ordered the same size as my other pairs. I should have sent them back to try a 1/2 size larger but I didn't. Also, these seem to feel stiffer and less comfortable than my other pairs of Keens, which felt great from day one. I'm a little disappointed with these. Hopefully they will get more comfortable with wear.

These are the second pair of Keen sandals I have owned. The first were the open toe variety, but the same material, colour and stitching. These sandals are just as comfortable, and I really like how they look and fit. These are excellent sandals with a single exception: The anti-scent coating of the soles is terrible. It makes the sandals feel a bit weird, and I really don't like the smell. I much preferred the previous sandal model soles. Anyways other than that one minor point I still love these sandals. Totally waterproof and easy to wear all day. Don't wear them if you're walking in mud or a really dusty trail (they are sandals after all) and they will serve you well.

This Keen Newport runs 1/2 small. As he already owns at least 4 other pair of Keens I ignored that review, now I have to exchange them. Thank goodness for Zappos awesome service.

These fit a bit sungly for an 8½. The Turai of the same size fit perfectly. I am an EE and I can wear socks with the Turia but not the Newport. Also, the pinky toe rubs a bit on the left (less wide) foot. I had to build a callus so as not to get a blister. I have been wearing these daily for just over a week, but the first couple of days, I had to mix in other shoes so I did not get the blister on my left foot. Also, these are heavy. I am walking a lot, doing a study abroad in Spain, and my shins are feeling it when my pace picks up. That said, they are pretty comfortable, and my dogs are not barking when I take them off.

I got the Khaki/Forest Nights. Unfortunately the khaki is not brown at all. It looks more like camo green. They were comfortable to wear, but not the color I had expected.
