So I had this shoe long ago in a women’s size 7.5 and loved it. I found the shoe at a store in 7.5, tried it on, slightly big, took it home anyway and... looked to see it was a men’s 7.5! So I went to my friendly Zappos and ordered it in a men’s 7, thinking it would be truly a men’s 7 and too large. It was perfect! I have a few pairs of keens in ladies 7.5 that fit well. But the men’s version has a much more hardy sole and wider foot bed that my wide but not overly wide feet really like! So for me it’s a great tromp around in the woods shoe, sturdier than the womans’ version.

They fit me fine but someone that sometimes wears the next size up should order accordingly they run a little small

We first bought 9.5 size for my husband and returned them. The 10.5 fits perfectly. We were surprised we had to order a full size larger. Thanks for the return policy.

I thought my Keen sandals needed a break of their own before I packed them to head home. It had been a busy week in Belize. Swimming across a river to enter a mysterious cave to explore Mayan ruins, hiking vast temple complexes, and keeping me steady on a boat heading to snorkel the country’s famous barrier reef. It dawned on me, as I started to toss them in my travel bag, that I bought these sandals more than 14 years ago to take my 3 boys on a whitewater trip through Hells Canyon. Since then they have served me well from deserts to islands, and jungles to far flung cities. Rest well my companions. Hey Keen you make a hell of a pair of sandals.

Fit great, look great and are very comfortable. I have never worn sandals or flip flops. Actually I think flip flops should be outlawed but that’s another story, lol. The design of this sandal with the closed toe is what attracted me to it. I wanted something for easy on easy off for the beach. I’ve become tired of my normal painstaking process. The product description also suggests this footwear would be great for other uses as well. I waited to write my review after wearing these sandals for a few days. For a person who is usually bound up in socks and boots no matter what, I’m now ruined! I wore these sandals for 3 straight days and cannot believe the freedom and cool feeling these sandals provide. With no previous experience in this type of footwear, I feel I can say these are the best. Right out of the box , they felt great. Walking around the last few days I did not have to think about what was on my feet. They are so comfortable, you don’t even think about your feet

Comfortable, secure, with excellent grip. I have worn them while walking through a shallow river carrying a backpack full of camera gear, and they let me feel secure on slippery river rocks. They dry out well and don't carry a foul odor as other water shoes I've had. Highly recommended.

Love these sandals. I'm on my third pair so far (I wore out the other two). They are a little bulky but that's the price you pay for having the toe covering. They are a great option if you want the support of a shoe but the comfort of sandals. I like these over the H2 because of the cloth interior. The H2 is all synthetic and can get stinkier after a while. If you intend to use these in the water often then the H2 might be a better option as these Newports get a little waterlogged. That said, I prefer the leather on these over the synthetic H2s.

I just read through all the glowing reviews and just have to add my own, EXCEPT that I am heartbroken because Keen discontinued this wonderful shoe for women. None of the others, such as Newport 2, even come close to the comfort and all around perfection of these shoes! (I know the Newport 2s are more fashionable, but they just don't feel good on my feet). I think I had about 8 pairs of Newports over the years before they discontinued them for my gender and size. Please, if anyone reading this has any sway with Keen, beg them to bring back the Newport for women! I want to wear them for the rest of my life!

Best investment I ever made in terms of footwear because they last forever and I've put them thru many years of abuse. It kinda doesn't make sense how long they've lasted. Will buy another pair to replace when needed. Everyone should have a pair of these especially if they live near rocky terrain.

This is my third pair of these. I love them. I have huge wide feet. They do not run wide, but break in nicely with time.

Used these on a week long canoe trip in Boundary Waters MN. They performed well during several half mile plus portages, swimming and especially in the canoe. Would recommend them to any outdoors person.

The Keens (my third pair) are comfortable and practical. I had a return issue on another pair of Keens and the Zappos customer service people were very helpful and resolved everything to perfection. You know a customer focused company (Zappos) when you call in and #5 on the list of choices is the joke of the day. Zappos is the best!

These sandals made by Keen are the best sandals I have ever owned. They are very comfortable and protective of your toes. I highly recommend these.

Great shoe and I can't remember the last time I said that. It's looks nice, it's comfortable, yada yada yada. This is the first shoe I can remember buying that after 1wk I started thinking of buying a different color, or backup pair in case they stop making it in 10 years, and sending a pair to my brother... I actually enjoy wearing them. How often does that happen?

The best shoe on earth! I have owned two pair of the leather Newports and each has lasted me 4 years of moderate to heavy use in every climate (except snow). They are so comfortable and look great too. They dry out quick when wet and wear well when wet. Just a great shoe all around. The leather actually keeps your feet moderately warm when worn with socks. I will be wearing them as long as they make them.

Finally replaced the pair I've had for 7 or 8 years. It was interesting to see that Keen's sizing has changed; I initially got the same size as the originals, but they were a half size too short. So I had to go up a size and am now wearing my Newports in a full size larger than my dress shoes (usually Allen Edmonds). But it works and other than the sizing change and color modifications, they look just the same as the pair that has served me so well.

I have several pair of Keen Newports in a variety of colors. Quality of construction, materials and fit is consistent and true. Not a better sandal available on the market for any price.

I love these. Comfortable with plenty of arc support. They can be worn in any conditions. This is my first pair of Keen's, I always had open toe shoes and (Teva, Chaco) and will never go back.

I can't say enough about how good Keens are. They are comfortable and durable. My husband and my young children wear them.

Great fit! I bought for my husband and never had to break them in...he loves them.

These are awesome. The fit is amazing. They're durable, and even survived being mauled by my dog. If I could wear them to work, I doubt I would ever take them off.

Bought these for my husband right before vacation. He loves them! No blisters and he wore them a lot, airports and all.
