I wore down my other Keens so it was time to re-order. I walk a lot so it was time. The Newport Keen is comfortable, has a good sole and looks good. I'll order more when I wear this pair out.

This is my 5th or 6th pair of Keen Newports. That should give you some idea how much I love this shoe. I haven't gone through so many pairs because they're not durable. I've gone through so many because I wear them whenever I can. They're comfortable, durable, great looking, practical, and if they ever stop making them I'm going to be one sad guy. Thanks Keen for a wonderful sandal, and thanks Zappos for great service and speedy delivery.

These shoes are wonderful! Comfortable, practical, and nice looking - very sporty. I wear them almost every day now. Love having my toes protected, too!

I like the ease of getting them on and off, and the comfort and support of the shoe. This is my first pair but not my last.

I did order this shoes in a 8.5 but since I have wide feet sent it back for one size larger. I wish they made wide shoes and sandals. Aside form that this shoes is very comfortable I ware it more then any other shoes that I have, come to think of it I haven't worn socks since I bought these. I love the toe guard the one time I chose to not ware them something landed on my big toe, never again. This is one of the best shoes I have ever owned, and wont be the last.

This is only my second pair of Keen sandals, my wife has 3 pairs. They are extremely comfortable and durable, another nice feature is that they can be put into the washing machine.

These are excellent shoes. So much better than the Skechers they replaced. These fit well & feel marvelous. My wife had a pair & recommended them.

I purchased the shoe for "dad" on behalf of my son. Dad loves the shoe. Perfect fit, comfortable, "cool" look. Dad is happy.

The Best Shoes Ever!!! I bought these shoes for my husband and he loves them! He loves the comfort, durability and look. He has a wide foot and they have a wide enough toe box that they are comfortable.

Functionality - The Keen Newport is a very comfortable sandal to wear. It is also easy to put on using the heel loop. It provides more support to my sole and arch than my other sandals. This is important when I am walking and hiking. The nubuck uppers give the shoe a unique, natural look which I like.

Fit is perfect. Quality is excellent !!!!!!!!!!!! this is my second pair I have purchased with a third pair in a few months.... Different colors has been my target here. Rotation of them. Green next..... My son's are in the market for this type of sandal. Thanks for the fast delivery. The shoe store indicated it would take three weeks to get these. I'm not wait for that type of promise.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

The size seemed to be right on for me (my normal shoe size 10). As unattractive as these may be, they are great for their intended purpose of summer hiking/ activities in and around the water. Very comfortable and great traction. Hopefully they will last for many years to come. Zappos did a great job as usual.

I have purchased this brand and style before. I sized up (half size) after reading other reviews and am glad I did. This are great walking and hiking sandals that thanks to the covered toe will go well into the midwestern Fall season.

I'm a big fan of Keen sandals, and have purchased them before. They are comfortable and provide good support. The fit is true to size for me, and I wear them everyday as long as its not below freezing. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have bought these sandals before and am pleased these latest ones are as good as the originals. They are exactly as described. I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

I bought my first pair of Newports a few years ago, when they came in women's. I bought the bison (medium brown) color, and they were marked US women's size 10, 40.5 EU, 7.5 UK, 27 cm. Those Newports are so comfortable and they're still in great shape. I wanted to buy the granite color, but now that they're only available for men, I had to do a size conversion. Normally, a man's size 8 works for me. I use EU sizing as a check, and the men's 8 on the Newports were marked as being size 41, 27 cm. I most often wear a 41 in EU sizing, so I felt confident the 8s would fit, especially since the 27 cm matched my old Newports. Nope. They were OK on my right foot, but too tight in the mid-foot on the left. They really made the top of my foot above my arch hurt. I returned the 8s and, though I decided that an 8.5 would probably be fine, I ordered a 9. These sandals are so comfortable that I like to wear them in the spring and fall too. I live in Maine, so I wear socks with these sandals in the cooler months. (Yes, I'm one of those people who wear socks with sandals!) When these 9s arrived, I tried them on with thin socks. The left feels perfect, and like I could wear thicker socks and feel fine. The right is a tiny bit on the loose side, but still comfortable. Anyway, all of this is a long way of explaining why I think these sandals run about a half size small. These really are great sandals. Their being waterproof is a bonus. The important thing for me is that they're just so perfectly comfortable. Medium arch support, a footbed with some give but that is firm and supportive (kind of like wearing an orthotic), a roomy toebox. I might be a little happier if the heel strap opened and could be adjusted with Velcro, like my favorite open walking sandals, the Ecco Yucatan, but it's not that big a deal for me. You do have to stick your foot well down into the toebox and then pull the backstrap up over your heel, but that becomes pretty easy after a little wear time. Now that I have Newports in a medium brown and a dark gray, I'm set for a good long time.

This is a multiple repeat buy. Great quality, great fit for my super wide foot, and great style. Still own and wear the original pair which is at least 10-15 years for around the house and the beach. Love 'em... again and again.

I am buying a new pair of Newports because my original pair is about to wear out after approximately 15 years. That is what I call value. The Newport is comfortable and functional for all types of outdoor use.

These are all leather and fit perfect right out of the box. I am 10.5 or 11, and the 11's fit perfectly so maybe run a bit small? Being all leather, they are very comfortable for all day wear, but maybe a bit warmer on the feet that the Newport H2's which are not leather. I had a pair of leather TEVA's for many many years that became part of my feet. Loved them. I was very disappointed with the new TEVAS, and was pleased to find these Newports as replacements. Very well made and very comfortable.

Great fit. A little more challenging to slip on than my Tivas, but once they are on, they are snug and I don’t want to take them off.

Had to return for a size larger, which fit. Don't care about style. Comfort and support is excellent.

Zappos has taken care of me several times and with this customer they have insured themselves a life time customer.

great shoe

I’ve been wearing these for many years. I get a new pair every couple of years . Have worn them while mtn. Biking, rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, jet skiing, beach, in and out of the water , and just walking around. Fit great, great support, look great, very durable for whatever you can throw at them.
