I bought a pair of these about a year and a half ago to wear on the plane when I travel (they make going through security much easier). I have hardly worn any other footwear since. It is true that they are a bit warm in the summer, but I just wear them loose and it is tolerable. I have worn these in deep winter temperatures without socks and my feet were completely warm. I don't wear them in snow, and that is about it. And despite wearing them constantly, there is almost no visible wear and tear on them: even the heels, which I tend to wear down quickly, show no noticable wear.

Keen shoes are the most comfortable sandal, we wear them everywhere. The look is unique and stylish, my husband and I have at least 3 pairs each, these were purchased for my brother in law, his dog chewed up one of his. They are great everyone should have a pair.

I can wear these shoes to the gym... I've even jogged in them! They can also be worn with shorts when I used to wear flip-flops but they stay far better and allow me to walk more comfortably. Since you don't wear them with socks, I bought them for a cruise... where I could wear them to work out or to the pool or just wear them in general without packing a ton of sock. I hope they don't stop making these.

Excellent support. Great for cleaning boats and outdoors, water flows thru them and they dry quickly. Perfect for Florida weather. The only negative is they can get smelly and are hard to get fresh smelling after a while. Guess that means time to get a new pair!

I've been wearing Keen's for four years now and they are, by far, the most awesome sandals I have ever owned! They feel great from day one. They wash well and they hold up like no other sandal can. Whether you're wearing them around the house, at the lake, camping or to work... they are the most comfortable sandals I've ever had... end of story... period!

I bought my first pair of this Keen sandal the original model more than four years ago before "everyone" got them. First time in my life that I've "discovered" something before it became popular.
After extensive wear I can report that they're comfortable with or with socks yes, I know socks with sandals are geeky but sometimes it's just too cold to go sockless - and offer good toe protection and a decent grip on most surfaces due to their boat shoe-like sipped sole. They're a bit heavier than I prefer to carry on backpacks but are excellent to use for water stream fording in Western mountain backcountry and are sturdy enough to wear back out to the road head in the event an injury on the trail precludes wearing your regular boots (it happens).
I tried the ones with all nylon (instead of leather) uppers but didn't like them so well because they don't mold to your feet like leather does and don't weigh much less.
Fit seems to be the same as my regular shoes. I'll definitely buy another pair.

THESE SHOES HAVE SOLVED A PROBLEM I HAVE LONG HAD WITH OTHER SPORT SANDALS - NO PROTECTION OF THE TOES. WELL, NO MORE. THESE SHOES PROVIDE TOTAL AMPHIBIOUS UTILITY WHILE AT THE SAME TIME GIVING YOU ADEQUATE COMFORT, PROTECTION AND TRACTION. THOSE OTHER SPORT SANDALS...I HAVE REPLACED WITH MY KEENS!

I bought these for my son-in-law!!
It was very brave of me to buy my son-in-law a pair of shoes for his birthday, but I felt comfortable doing this with these shoes. He had commented on how much he liked mine so I figured I'd give it a try. He wore a size 13, which they didn't come in so I bought him a size 14. They fit him perfectly and he said they were the most comfortable shoes he has ever owned.

I ordered this boot in black and brown. I get crazy compliments every time I wear them! Surprisingly comfortable considering the high heel (but I wouldn't have it any other way). Great shoe! I'm thinking of ordering it in brown, too. It runs a little smaller than my Clarks from last year. I got a 7, though 6.5s usually fit me in Clarks. The forefoot is narrower than other Clarks, but it has really nice padding, so the weight that's shifted from the heel is cushioned. They walk really well, too. Here's a high mary-jane type shoe that you can actually wear all day.

I confess I seem to have a thing about shoes. My feet are pretty normal, but perhaps the same cannot be said for their owner. Anyhow, I keep looking for "the shoe." This one comes as close as any I've found. It's sturdy and comfortable; and I can see, as my daughter indicated, that it can be worn year-round . . . as I intend to do. It does seem a little "roomier" than I expected, but not in a way that I don't like.

Best Birding Shoes EVER!
These shoes are great for outdoor activities, specifically birding. The airy quality and comfortable feel provide good feel for long days in the field. These will keep your feet cool in hot weather yet can be worn most of the year because they aren't THAT open.
Plus, since they are washable, you don't have to worry about walking through the muck.
One final thing. The hard toe area is better than other "open" shoes because you don't need to worry about ramming your toes against rocks, trees, etc.
