Excellent sneakers to accommodate an AFO! I wear an AFO or to better visualize it, a brace that goes from the toes up to the top of the shin. Trying to find sneakers that are wide enough to accommodate this brace has been near impossible. Not only did Zappos come through with flying colors, these white sneakers will be used for my wedding in October!! Thanks so much Zappos!

Great shoes, in looks and feel! I ordered these shoes after seeing a podiatrist about a sore heel which turned out to be a bone spur. He recommended New Balance shoes and an insole which I bought at a sporting goods store. (The insoles in the shoes came right out and I put the new ones in. I was surprised how easy it was.) So I've been wearing these shoes for 3 weeks now, all the time, and my foot is doing much better and the shoes are so comfortable. I just took my grandson to Chicago for the dinosaurs there and we walked all over - I did great (but not as good as a 4 year old grandson)! So, I'd recommend these shoes for comfort and looks!!!

New Balance, Great Walking Shoes! I have been purchasing New Balance Walking Shoes WW811 for the past five-six years. I have a difficult foot to fit - a wide toe spread and small heel. These shoes have been the most comfortable walking shoe I have been able to find.

Great shoe for people who have narrow feet - I found this shoe to be absolutely the best fitting shoe that I have ever had in a sports shoe. I have tendonitis in my feet and this is the only shoe that has helped me walk easily because it fits so well. Thanks for creating this product for those who have very narrow feet and have such a hard time finding a size that supports the foot so well.

NB 811 - These shoes are the only ones I've found to accommodate a needed orthotic comfortably. I wish NB made them in more colors for us "little old ladies in tennis shoes."

Big Feet Need Comfort Too - I have always had good luck with New Balance shoes and this pair is no exception. I recently had some foot troubles (duty boots were the culprit) and have orthotics now. The Podiatrist recommended New Balance and Brooks shoes with good reasons. I wear a ladies 11.5 and need a good fit with adequate toe room which these have. They are also very attractive even on my big feet.

FINALLY! My feet aren't hurting 24/7!!! I average 50+ hrs per week, walking/standing on concrete floor all day. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and Morton's Neuroma in another. Have been seeing a podiatrist for the past 7 months, receiving shots, icing feet, bio-freeze, and medications. Finally, I am enjoying more foot painfree days, thanks to this shoe. Prior to this pair, I spent nearly $300 on 2 pair of shoes and still had unbearable pain. I ordered on a Saturday and received on Monday... amazing customer service!

This is my 5th pair of WW811 from Zappos. I have problem feet and these shoes in 2E with a removable insert so I can use my bulky orthotic are the BEST. Zappos is wonderful, overnight free shipping, and free return when necessary. Great company to deal with, I'm hooked! Thank You! I'll spread the word...

The only one that fits! Much as I have tried other New Balance styles and other brands, the NB WW811 is the only shoe that fits my narrow (both width and depth) foot! The shoe has a decent arch support and is comfortable to wear even after hours on my feet. The style is rather dated and New Balance could do a little to spiff it up after all these years!

Review of New Balance 811 - I have worn this same shoe for a number of years. I wear a brace on my right leg, and this shoe nicely accommodates the brace and still gives me a sense of style.

New Balance works for me - This model, and only this model, comes in AAAA, which is the right fit for me. No other New Balance shoe is offered in AAAA, alas, and this one only comes in white and black, not bone. I'd rather have bone. Anyway, New Balance gives a lot of support. I have peripheral neuropathy and weak ankles and I wouldn't go any distance in anything but New Balance. They make me feel secure.

Great Shoe for My Mom - My 83 year old mom has a 4A width and is very afraid of slipping. These shoes are the answer for her. They fit her very well; she did not get any blisters. She felt very secure wearing them, which is very important. She did find tying them hard and she would have liked Velcro, but she said that is not that important, because of the excellent fit. Zappos made another member of my family happy!!

Great walking shoes - I wear orthotics and have bunions, and these shoes are extremely comfortable. They are not beautiful, but unbeatable for great walking.

Finally, shoes my size. It was so nice to receive an email letting me know that a well known brand actually had a shoe in my size. I've never had a "sneaker" that fit so well. Highly recommend it. If it was a tiny bit narrower, it would be even better… but I'm not complaining.

Really Perfect - Super comfy - can hardly believe I'm wearing a shoe. Very light also.

Only sneaker that works for me. I use orthotics for my back and foot support. The New Balance WW811 has been the only shoe that feels comfortable with the addition of my bulky orthotics. It may not be the most beautiful sneaker, but plain white goes with all my sports clothes and comfort is the most important factor for me. Please continue to carry this model as I plan on buying 2 a year which seems to work for me. Your delivery service can't be beat and the Zappos.com format was good to use since I'm not too computer literate! Thank you.

Very comfy shoe - Many of us could write the script for a reality show about our quest to find a good-fitting comfortable shoe. Seriously. In my case, the challenge is accommodating size 12, narrow, flat foot… one foot 1/2 size larger than the other, one foot with a prominent bunion. When I found this shoe, the quest was over. Woohoo! The 811 has enough give to fit my quirky feet. Very comfortable. I like the roomy toe box. Fits like a glove; no break-in needed. What a treat it will be to have a shoe I can walk in all day. I'm going to order it in other colors if they are available in my size.

This is my third pair of 811's. They are comfortable, easy to clean and are cooler to wear than many other brands that I have tried. I like the white look and they go great with jeans. The fast shipping from Zappos beats anything I have seen.

Good shoe for the money - I've worn the 811 for years and have found them to be comfortable, true to fit, and retain their good looks with a little wipe here and there. I wear them for casual as well as walking purposes. Actually my podiatrist looked at them and said "Well, you're wearing GOOD shoes".

Excellent shoe - Fit very well. Love the stabilizing bar - I can actually feel the difference. Since they are synthetic, I expected to feel hot and/or a little sweaty in these. As it turns out, I wore them DURING A HEATWAVE in NYC with normal walking socks and my feet did not feel hot or sweaty - surprising. (Guess the ventilation holes REALLY do the job.) Also, the synthetic material is much softer and pliable than I expected. I am going to use my own arch supports with these shoes, I have problem arches. These shoes are not pretty, but when your feet are hurting, style is not #1 on the list of priorities. They look ok with a pair of jeans or other long pants. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with ankle problems and/or wide feet. I'll be looking for other New Balance shoes with the rollerbar insert - that thing is a huge help for weak ankles. Might want to add your own arch support though.

The shoes are very comfortable. I was able to wear them right out of the box with no break in period. I would recommend them to anyone that has problems with their feet. They feel like slippers.

Wonderful Fit - Fabulous Shipping - Kudos to the shipping department at Zappos. My free shipping of these shoes arrived the next day and I live two hours away from a major airport in the high mountains of Colorado. I absolutely recommend this shoe to anyone with narrow feet. I wear 9 1/2 AAAA size shoe and thought I'd never, ever find anything to fit me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found the perfect thing on this website. I've ordered them in both white and black and will order the bone when they are in stock. They are true to size in every way - and just wide enough to wear a sport sock comfortably with them. I'm delighted.
