I always wear New Balance athletic shoes because of the wide toe box. They fit me beautifully and I have learned I need a size 8 in NB although I wear a size 7 in other brands. I bought this shoe in black to wear both with my aircast; I broke my ankle, and for support after the cast comes off for good. The black shoe will even cover for work with black slacks until I can go back to my beloved heels. As always Zappos was fantastic, their service cannot be beat!

This is a great shoe. Have it in white. Black is good for winter and not exactly a fashion statement but looks better with black or denim jeans. Mostly, I love Zappos!

I love these shoes. This is the 4th pair I have owned. I have had problems with plantar fasciitis in the past. These shoes have really helped. I haven’t had any foot pain in many months. I walk 10 - 15 miles a week in them either on the treadmill or sidewalks.

I have major feet issues and have had to wear New Balance shoes for years. Nothing else works for my arches and plantar fasciitis. Started with 811s and then moved to 927s several years ago because a foot doctor suggested they were more supportive. Decided to try 811s for the first time in years because they are still made in the U.S. They feel great on my feet, but they do rub one of my big toes a bit. Otherwise, they’re more comfy than the 927s and they don’t have a horrible chemical smell. Usually, I have to stick the 927s out in the garage for weeks to get rid of the chemical smell. The 811s just have a new shoe smell. And, they don’t make my feet sweat as much. All in all, very happy--if you have extremely troublesome and wide feet, these shoes are for you.

The best shoes I've ever worn. I put them through the ultimate test by wearing them to Disney World for three days. Everything I owned except my feet hurt. They felt wonderful. I am here to buy another pair.

This is my third pair of these shoes and I love them. Tried lots of others and keep coming back to these. I have a wide foot, high instep, and hammer toes, and the New Balance shoes fit comfortably and have lots of toe room. As long as they keep making this style, I’ll keep buying them.

Ah, New Years resolutions! Joined the gym, and then realized that I didn’t even know where my shoes were, oh well, I wanted new ones anyway. Looked on Zappos web site, and decided on these New Balance, mostly because they looked like I would be more stable in them. I was RIGHT, they are nice and wide at the heel, not exactly fashion statements, but hey, I am 64, so didn’t have to worry too much about that. The shoes are so comfortable I can easily do the treadmill for 1/2 hour, and bike for another 1/2, plus go to the grocery in them. My only problem is the tongue slides to the side, but not a deal breaker. I LOVE ZAPPOS, better than any shoe store.

I received my order very quickly. These walking shoes fit well, and the size is true to size. They are very comfortable, give great support and don\'t feel heavy. I wear them all the time and have ordered them in white when I want to look like I\'m wearing sneakers. They are the best for me and I have had many problems and operations on my feet for many things and they offer me the most comfort. I love that they feel so light and yet offer such great support. I told a friend at work about them and she ordered them too and she loves them also.

I developed a health problem that caused me to gain so much weight so fast my feet spread out from a B width to 4E. I absolutely could not find shoes in town to fit my short, super wide foot. At Zappos, I not only found shoes but badly needed snow boots. They fit wonderfully and are so comfortable I can't believe it! I read all the reviews and they helped me order the correct size in that style. I got it right on the first try. I felt safe in trying shoes by mail due to Zappos wonderful, more than fair return policy. I will continue to buy my shoes and boots from Zappos. I have been in the law enforcement profession for 25+ years and my feet have paid the price. A co-worker suggested New Balance as a possible solution to ongoing discomfort and he was right. Wore them out of the box with no break in time. My orthotics fit inside and the comfort is just about perfect. I would highly recommend the WW811 for anyone suffering from heel or arch issues who is looking for a comfortable shoe.

Have been searching for too long for a 8.5 4A shoe. Have a full time job and a part time job. Am a custodian at each job. 3 days a week I work 12 hours a day. On my feet for 11 hours. On Thursday & Friday I work 8 hours. On Saturday I work 3 hours. These shoes are awesome! Can't thank you enough. Now I know where I can order quality footwear for a hard to find size. Zappos is a great company, not only for it\'s prompt handling of my orders, it\'s wide variety of sizes and styles\r\n(including ones for "problem" feet), but also for it\'s guarantees and free shipping.\r\nAs for this shoe, the WW811, I really \r\nlike it, but it doesn\'t give me the\r\nsupport my podiatrist says I have to have for a heel tendon problem. I bought the white ones in EE. They are true to size and width. I found them very comfortable with a new balance insert in for a higher arch. I like these shoes and these are my second pair. A well made, comfortable shoe.
