I received the shoes the day after I ordered. What a great surprise! They are true to size and comfortable for walking. I was more than pleased with my purchase.

I have been looking for womens shoes that fit me for years. I always had to buy mens shoes. Not only do these shoes fit, they are very comfortable and look good. I will be a return customer.

I have worn New Balance for years. There is something to the balance beside the name. I am 75 and I have never fallen with these shoes, but have with others. This shoe is made in America, that means something to me. I should point out that I always have to get the top of the line to be totally satisfied.

The shoes I have purchased are the best shoes out of all that I own. They are so comfortable for wearing at my job. I would order another pair for work being that I am on my feet all day. They really are shoes that help my feet because of a problem I have with my heel. I would only order from Zappos from now on. Thank you for caring.

Wonderful website for shoes. The fact that you don't pay shipping means a lot when you're very hard to fit. We wasted money on other websites paying for shipping, only to have to pay shipping again to return the shoes because they didn't fit quite right. I'll keep using Zappos!

Very comfortable, no break in period needed. I have wide feet with bunions and no arch so finding a shoe that is comfortable is very important to me. These feel true to size. I wish they had some athletic shoes in brown though.

I love this shoe. I've been wearing this same NB model for almost 9 years now, and as long as they continue to make them, I'll continue to wear them. They're true to size and width, long wearing, and oh-so-comfy.

I love these shoes. I have hip and back problems and they are always much better when I wear my shoes all day. They make a huge difference in the way I feel, and my pain level is much less, too.

Bought these for my 94 year old mother. She has a narrow foot and it's almost impossible to find narrow-sized walking shoes where we live. In addition, the stability feature of these shoes is great. She wears them all the time and loves the bone color. They should make these in more colors, styles, and in real leather! But they are still good.

I love the new balance 811. I had a torn tendon across bottom of my foot. This shoe is the only shoe that is comfortable. The 'specialists' at Zappos were so helpful in trying many other shoes, encouraging me through the ordeal. I tried so many. When I have to wear dress shoes, it is horrible. I have asked New Balance to please make the '811' in a neutral color Nubuck for fall and winter, as I wear the bone with fall/winter clothes. I highly recommend the New Balance 811 and Zappos to anyone. I have a narrow foot, with a very narrow heel and very high arch. Again, my 811's keep me moving. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I have worn this shoe for years. They are supportive and comfortable. No break in time with a new pair. My orthotics slip right in. I have tried other athletic shoes but these are the best. Zappos' service is superior.

I am so happy I purchased these shoes. The comfort is unsurpassed! These all all day shoes for sure, even after shopping. I have the very painful Plantar Fasciitis, and these shoes are a life saver! If I wear these shoes a few days, my feet are pain free again, even when I remove them. When I wear sandals for instance for even one day, I get the excruciating heel/arch pain back! These shoes were recommended as orthodic shoes and THEY WORK! They allow the 'Plantar Fascia' ligament to heal!

I wear orthodics and love this shoe because it is very solid and stabile. I have been wearing New Balance 811 for years and I wear no other kind of shoe unless I absolutely have to get dressed up.

I have been purchasing this shoe from Zappos for years. I wear orthotics and this is the shoe my doctor suggested. The orthotics fits in without a problem. I also need a shoe that has a wider toe area and this is the one. I wear a size twelve 2A, which is hard to find, but never at Zappos. It is a true fit every time I purchase it. Never have I had to send it back. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who does a lot of walking or is on their feet all day.

This is the second pair that I have purchased. This shoe is comfortable right out of the box! The support and the round toe are a true find. The design of the sole feels stable and very well made. It is noted as a walking shoe, but they are a general all around shoe for me!

I think Zappos is the greatest. I\'m a mail carrier so my shoes are extremely important as I have foot pain associated with the many miles that I walk every day. I can always get the right shoes in the wide sizes that I need at excellent prices. Wouldn\'t change a thing about Zappos.com.

These are the most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever had for work. I am on my feet most of the day and they are perfect and true to size.

This is the best walking shoe ever. I am a daily walker and am on my second pair. The fit is great and one of the only walking shoes that comes in a narrow width.

More doctor recommended the NB brand for use with my new orthodic. I pick this style, and I really do like them. I got the putty color because it was unusual to what I found around here. I like them. Fit well, feel good, even with the orthodic inside, and many people comment on the color. I'm a happy customer.

I absolutely love these shoes!!! I always buy New Balance and thought I would try a different style. These shoes have all the support I want and need in a lighter weight shoe. Wonderful!!!

This shoe I purchased in black for the specific purpose of marching in the Purdue University All-American Alumni Band at the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade and 500 Race this year, and for rigorous Homecoming performances by the alumni band. My old marching shoes were not stable or supportive enough, and I've always liked the New Balance features. I didn't want a klunky-looking walking shoe; these are nicely tailored. Right out of the box they were perfect for my 58-yr-old 8.5 narrow feet. The size and width were right-on and my orthotics fit perfectly in these shoes. I then ordered a pair for my 89-yr-old mother who has severe osteoporosis and needs much stability. She loves them too and talks about how they 'hold her up.' (P.S. -- At the 500 weekend marching events another gal with whom I marched ALSO had the identical New Balance shoe!) Thank you New Balance and thank you ZAPPOS for easy ordering and for the super people you have taking our phone calls--they are extremely helpful and polite!

I have been wearing this style (811) for 12-15 years now. When I find a shoe that fits, I stick with it! It is the first shoe I've found that gives me plenty of toe room. I find it very comfortable on my extra wide (EE) feet and it has great support if you have to be on your feet a lot. I find it true to size.
