This is a great shoe! I have worn the New Balance WW811 and they're wonderful, except that my feet are slightly wedge shaped. Even though the length and width of the shoe feels just right to me, my heels lifted as I walked. So I had to return them. I went with the Brooks Addiction Walker because the sole is a little more rigid, so they fit my super-flexible feet better.

Let's face it these aren't the prettiest shoes on the planet, but they certainly meet my needs given my recent foot surgery! I needed a well-built wide shoe, with plenty of room in the toe box. Here she is! I'm walking with comfort in these babies. Thanks to New Balance for this terrific shoe that really gets the job done. On second thought -- maybe they don't look all that bad after all!

I have trouble getting shoes because my feet are narrow. I was very happy to find this website where I can order size narrow shoes. I am very pleased with this shoe and it fits me very well.

I love the shoes the only problem I have with them is the stitching on left shoe on left side rubs on my smallest toe. I could probably wear a size 8B instead of the 8D because I have 8B shoes, but I like the wider size and this may be causing the rubbing problem I have with them. Overall, I love them. This is my second pair of these. My first pair wore out.

I am delighted with my New Balance shoes. The fact that you can order the right fit even to the Last is important to me.

My shoe is well made and the only problem is it is not a 2A. It feels like you took a wider shoe and installed an innersole. My foot still slips from side to side. I have a severe case of Peripheral Neuropathy and need better fitting shoes.

Narrow sizes fit as well as expected. The shoe is comfortable and perfect for walking.

I have to wear this particular shoe. I had a split tendon on the bottom of my foot, several years ago, after having plantar fasciitis. The Dr. told me to buy New Balance SL-2 Last as I have an extremely high arch and very narrow heel. I am 74. I have bought this shoe over the years. I wish New Balance would make it in a Suede or Nu-Buck for winter wear. I order 'white' in Summer 'bone' in winter. Truly, this is the most beneficial and comfortable shoe for my feet. I have orthotics which I wear inside. Zappos has been of great help over the years in finding shoes that are comfortable, for the occasions when I need another style shoe. I cannot wear them very long, but then revert to the New Balance 811. This shoe is currently made in Rhode Island, to my knowledge. I hope the quality control continues.

These are the only shoes I know of that come in a full range of sizes. I take a 10.5 narrow, which is almost impossible to find. They look good and feel great, give great support.

I bought these shoes because I have callus on my feet and needed something to wear to Disney World. These shoes didn't hurt my feet, which was surprising because most shoes do!

These New Balance shoes are extremely comfortable and have great arch and ankle support. I wear them any time I must do a lot of walking.

I had had toe surgery and needed a shoe that would not cause pressure on the toe, so I purchased the wide width. This is an excellent walking shoe. It is attractive and very comfortable. Now that my toe has healed, I am able to wear my normal width shoe, so I purchased the bone colored shoe as well. I still use the black shoe when walking.

This is the only tennis shoe I wear. When I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciatis a few years ago, these are the shoes my Podiatrist recommended. After wearing these a few weeks, no more problems!

My mom is 79 years old and not a computer user. She needed some new shoes but local stores did not have what she needed. While viewing the website we had questions and were able to immediately get a Zappos rep on the phone. The Zappos rep was not a desperate salesman trying to make a commission. We found the shoes my mom wanted in the right color and size and ordered the shoes. The correct shoes arrived at the promised date and we did not pay for shipping or sales tax. Everything described in Tony's book was true: Zappos did deliver happiness to me and my mom in a shoe box. Cheers! Well done Zappos!

Having issues with Plantar Fasciitis. While the shoe allows the placement of my orthotics, I still have a lot of foot pain while working a 12 hour shift. Feel stable and comfortable.

Absolutely the best shoe for me. My arch is collapsing and I use an orthotic support. This shoe has kept me walking and is always recommended by my foot and ankle doctor. The arch and liner in this shoe are removable and it is easy to substitute one that has been made especially for you.

I love these shoes. I love the support. I need a stable walking shoe and this is perfect.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes, particularly for those of us who have wide feet. I'm in the health care field and spend a great deal of time on my feet. I think Zappos rocks! I haven't had to visit a shoe store in years! And I love their fabulous customer service!

The D from New Balance was too wide. Every other brand I need a wide. I'm returning them for a B.

I absolutely love this shoe; wide toe bed, good arch support and so comfortable. Purchased for a workout shoe, but am finding I wear it to run errands too. Also purchased the same style in the men's version for my son who also loves it.

Comfortable and roomy. Excellent for light walking and standing, but too heavy for aerobic walking. After a full day on my feet in these shoes, the balls of my feet get sore, so I'd recommend using extra support, and fortunately there is plenty of room for it. These shoes are not totally fashionable, but they are very sensible and comfortable.

Great shoe! I have a narrow, long, flat foot and this shoe feels great!

This is the first women's athletic shoe I've found available in size 11.5. I had resorted to wearing men's size 10 in order to get an adequate toe box, but of course they were too big in the heel. A Zappos consultant tipped me off to New Balance, and as soon as I tried on this shoe, I knew I had a winner. I was so impressed that I immediatly ordered another pair in a different color.

I'm very pleased with Zappos.com. I order shoes from them all the time, and I'm always satified.
