I love these shoes. They're comfortable and very cute. Unfortunately, the strap broke my second day of wearing them. I will be returning these for a replacement.

I love Dansko shoes, but these didn't quite fit right. The strap is the only part that holds the shoe to your foot and it was not as comfortable to walk in as my Dansko Sport clogs or Professionals. They are very cute…

Wish I had been warned... If you have any ankle problems or high arches, please do not bother with these shoes. I can't believe that a shoe my physical therapist recommended to me now makes my feet ache. And unfortunately, they are so expensive that the risk just isn't worth it. I don't know about the other versions of Danskos, but these are NOT comfortable.

Heavy and Uncomfortable - I bought these shoes for nursing school because they looked cute and the reviews were good. But after a week of wearing them, I couldn't stand them anymore. The edges of the leather rub on the top of my feet, the insole is hard and ungiving, the bottom of the shoe is also hard and not shock-absorbing, and the rocker feature doesn't work quite right. They are also very heavy, and not as pretty in person as they are on the computer screen. The bottom has taken on a yellowish tinge, and they're hard to keep clean. Terrible shoes!!

There are too hard

I have 3 pairs of these, can’t wear regular Dansko clogs because they torture the tops of my feet. Unfortunately the strap broke on all the pairs. I brought them to a cobbler that attached the straps with an elastic attachment piece so they can flex and not break again. Not sure why Dansko can’t do this... seems everyone has strap issues.

I had a pair of Sanita Mary Jane's for years. They were extraordinarily comfortable. The strap wasn't even noticeable, your foot was somehow held in place without any tightness, your foot did not move around inside the shoe and my feet and legs never hurt. On the other hand, I feel like this a bad shoe. The strap digs in to the top of my foot. It feels like that's what's keeping the shoe on and it's very noticeable and uncomfortable. My foot slides around inside the shoe. I feel like someone could injure their knee because of the massive instability with all the sliding every which way. The size was fine and my foot is slightly wide. Just a really bad shoe. My Sanita's finally kicked the bucket last week. I had them for years. They were amazing right out of the box. I wore these around the house for awhile and I can feel twinging in my knee. Because your feet slide and turn while walking, there is undue movement of your tibia and fibula, stressing the knee. I really think that someone could develop knee problems with this shoe.

they run much larger than typical size and because the bottom doesn't bend with each step, your heel pops out of the back and the strap hits the top of your foot in a weird place and kind of hurts. I sent them back.

This is the third pair of Dansko Marcelles I have owned. I have always worn the same size ... and this pair is significantly larger! I'm trying to adjust to the new (seeming larger) size - but it seems odd.

I very much wanted to keep these comfy shoes, but they must go back. Although super to stand in, they don't stay on my foot when I walk. They fall off on stairs. Even the Mary Jane strap is not enough to keep them on my low volume foot. The width is fine, the roomy toebox is great, but the vamp is too high up to grab my instep. Wish Dansko would make a shoe for low volume (NOT NARROW) feet.

Dansko should be embarrassed for asking this price for such a poor quality shoe! I haven't bought Dansko shoes in over 10 years, so my old clogs were made in Europe by Sanita. These new Dansko clogs are terrible! The soles feel, and sound (when you walk on hardwood floors) like they are made of hollow plastic. The leather on the uppers looks cheap compared to the old clogs. Dansko shoes used to be comfortable right out of the box, I never had to break in a pair, but after 30 minutes in these shoes the bottoms of my feet where killing me. I'm returning them and ordering Sanita clogs. These shoes are a waste of money!

I have big feet and wear a 12 in womens so knowing these run small I got the 43 (the biggest size) I was so excited for them but the toe room is horrible! I could feel my toes bent in half in the toe box and I just knew it would not work. I bought two other Dansko shoes and the more open sandal type fit way better for my feet. This one unfortunately got sent back.

I am a big fan of Dansko but these shoes need to be redesigned. I got these shoes last night and they already broke. There is a metal eyelet that holds the strap and it popped out this morning. I had the same shoe in a patent leather finish and that one broke after 3 years. Dansko really needs to look into this because I love their shoes!

First of all the shoes look nothing like the picture color wise. Second of all the sizes run large and sloppy. This shoe feels like you are wearing a wooden clog. Really uncomfortable in every way. Do not buy these shoes!!!

You’ll break your ankle in these shoes! These shoes look cute and the good arch support makes them comfortable to stand on. However, they are very uncomfortable for walking due to the inflexible sole, the raised heel, and sloped instep which makes your foot slide forward in the shoe bruising your toes against the hard front part. The wide and unpadded heel cup chafes a lot! These shoes constantly turn my ankles due to the narrowing of the heel at the sole of the shoe. They slip on and off and are non-slip and very durable, so I still use them for gardening. Don't waste your money! The newer models sound like they have improved though.

Disappointing - I LOVE Dansko. But these were so disappointing! The plastic piece on the heel dug into the sides of my heel leaving indentions on my skin. I have many styles of Dansko including the Professional and this has never happened. I adore the look of this shoe but can't weather the pain.

Not Impressed - These look very cheap, especially considering they're a bit pricy! Based on reviews, I ordered both a 37 & 38 (I'm usually a US 6.5-7). Both sizes were too big, & 36's are not in stock. Thank goodness for free returns!

I give up - I own 12 pairs of Dansko’s and all are size 37 these are awful they DONT FIT RIGHT AT ALL. I tried 7 pairs of 37s all too small and 1 pair of size 38s are too big; save your time and frustration DONT BOTHER!!!

There sure were some great reviews for this shoe but I found that they were so hard inside that I couldn't even stand up for 5 minutes! This is the 2nd style that I had to return. So sad!!! :(
