I've heard a lot of good things about Dansko, so I was disappointed in this pair. I tried a size 40 and could step right out of them, no matter how I adjusted the strap, so I moved down to a 39, and I was still stepping out of them--but now the whole toe area hurt. They felt too much like clogs with too-wide heels and narrow / tight toes. Absolutely adorable, and if they fit me, I think they would be good support. Sadly, this particular style just isn't for me.

Super comfy but not the most stylish. I am looking for a pair of stylish shoes to wear with ankle pants to my retail job where I am ok my feet all day. I was hoping I could pull these off but they are better with boot cut or flare pants. Unfortunately I had to return them and I am still on the hunt for comfy stylish shoes.....

heel just too big. I used to wear danskos all the time but the newer ones seem to be narrower in the toe box. this one was ok but the heel was just so wide that it flopped off my foot - plus the sole is very hard and slippery so you slide to the end.. I think if just standing it would work but not for a lot of walking for me.

After having achilles tendon repair, finding a comfortable shoe has been a chore. Ordered these to give me not only height, but to assist in my gait with my walk. I LOVE these shoes. I had ordered the 38 originally, which did not work for me, but the 39 has been a blessing to my feet. My feet do not hurt when I get home anymore. ( I think my feet got bigger or something the older I get.. bahooey)

Doesn't fit like old Danskos. Very tight and narrow. More important. This shoe is not RED! It's burgundy. Sad to have to return it as I really wanted a pair of red Danskos.

Order these clogs hoping they would fit. I tried on the right shoe and it was perfect I was so happy. Unfortunately I tried on the left shoe and it was tight and my little toe was hitting the side. I am going to try a larger size or try the same size again and hope that there was a problem with the shoe. Bummer, they are perfect looking for me!

I have flat, bony feet and unfortunately the outside seams on these shoes dug deeply into the outside of my feet. Too painful, so they are going back.

Very different from regular leather Marcelle. Much stiffer and not as comfortable. Rubs against the outer bone. I've spoken to three other people who have worn this shoe and all have said the same thing! Not sure if it's the shoe!? I'll be going back to regular Marcelle.

I have severe rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and these shoes are so stiff and heavy. I knew right away they wouldn't work.

I have been a loyal Dansko customer for years now. I have purchased the same pair of Dansko Mary Janes for work twice in a row, and loved them so much. But my 3rd pair, this new style, was a disappointment. There were gaps between the stitching and the sole. The leather felt stiff and almost platicy. For the price, and my history with Dansko, I expected much better quality. Sent them back.

I love Dansko, and have had at least half a dozen pairs over the years, including clogs, sandals, and a fantastic pair of ankle boots. But these were a big disappointment. They were quite long, and gave me blisters on the side of my feet. Unfortunately I had to wear them a day when traveling, so I can't return. Maybe perfect for you if you have a narrow long foot. Mine is kind of average. Bummer!

Love Dansko and this is a pretty shoe but not for a size 12 foot. It looks like a boat due to the size of my feet. For my high arch, the arch support is too far forward in the shoe and it hurt to even walk on a well padded rug. This one would be great for a tall person with a smaller foot - it is a big, clunky shoe. I am that tall person but with a giant sized foot. Maybe I would have kept it except for the painful arch support. Again, my closet is full of Dansko shoes; this one for those two reasons is just not for me.

I love the look of these shoes, but I wear a women's 12 so I ordered these in the 12½-13 range and was sorely disappointed that they were to short. My toes hit the part of the shoe that curves up just a little so over a full day at work it would have been very uncomfortable. I love Danskos, but have a hard time finding women's shoes that will fit my feet.

These were horrible for me feet, and I've worn Danskos for years. The leather edge at the toe box rubbed hard on the tendon near my big toe when I bent my foot at all. After a day of walking, I had a large, painful bump on my foot and couldn't wear the shoes again. There was also a manufacturing defect and the toe box on the left shoe was a half centimeter longer than the right shoe. I got a replacement pair, but the toe box was long on both shoes and incredibly uncomfortable. I also have a bunion on my left foot and found the shoes irritated it.

These are as comfortable as my professional clogs, and I think they will last me just as long. However, strangely, the leather discolored almost immediately. I thought I had missed it when the shoes were delivered, and had a manufacturing problem, but soon enough the second shoe developed the same problem. I don't know if I have any recourse to return them at this point, because I've worn them a bit, but I am surprised and dismayed this happened. It's almost as if the color rubbed off and revealed a lighter brown.

Too narrow! I have the exact same shoe in black from Sanita, and it is much wider. Am returning this. Will not buy Dansko again. Since they parted with Sanita, the shoes have not been the same.

I love the color and am somewhat surprised at the stiffness of the leather compared to my other Dansko's? Hoping they soften!

Liked them until they RIPPED where the black trim is attaching the back leather piece to the front. Only two years old and in great shape, soles barely worn. Very upset about this as they are my favorite work shoes. I'm switching to Sanita and keeping with the plain designs, apparently anything extra won't hold up...

I am a pretty standard size 9. I ordered a size 40 and it was way too large. I then returned the shoes and got a size 39. It felt a bit tight on my toes, but somehow my heel still slipped. The shoe looks incredible, though. I think this shoe would be heaven for someone whose feet work with Dansko shoes. I felt like the strap was the only thing holding me in.

These are okay. I like the chunky style, but they do feel pretty stiff. They'll probably get more comfy as they are broken in.

This shoe runs short and wide--not the right proportions for a long, narrow foot. I'm able to wear some open-back Dansko styles; the Sissy sandal and the Margrete clog are more adjustable for a narrow foot.

Awfully cute, cute shoe. BUT...the back of the shoe is also cut wide & my feet kept slipping out. I have found that all the Dansko's and Sanita's in this particular style do that. I would tighten the strap to keep my foot in place, but then it would be too tight on top of foot. I didn't find them to be very comfortable.

A little disappointed - These shoes felt large on my feet and very stiff. I haven't worn them yet for any length of time so maybe I just need to adjust to them. The heel slippage is discomfiting but again maybe I just need to get used to them. This is my first pair of Danskos.

These are cute...but ouch! I have several pairs of Danskos, the Professional Clogs (which I love and fit great), some sandals, the "Merrie" clogs and so on. So, on a "cuteness" level these are adorable. They have the same great durability and arch support. But here's the ouch part. The top (not strap) rubs because it is very hard to break in and make soft, so if you have thick, not wide feet, then the tops of your feet may hurt. They also run a bit bigger than I'm used to. I may choose to ONLY wear with socks. They aren't good for summer: they will make your feet hot and sweat. So if I could get a shoe stretcher and stretch out the tops and somehow get rid of the rubbing part, I would wear all the time.
