Nice**** I bought these shoes a) I am recovering from a nasty broken foot and I needed something with a lot of support b) I needed something I could where with business casual attire and not look to orthepedic or casual. They totally fit the bill! I walk 10 blocks a day in them to and from work and they are totally supportive and comfy. The only thing is when I first got them, where the strap buckle hooks to the shoe rubbed pretty bad - I had to where socks with them (full socks not peds) but two weeks later I have recovered and can wear them without socks or with peds. Overall I love them except for the temporary rubbing! They also look cute on the weekends with jeans too!

It seems like all Danskos except the clog have one design flaw. This shoe's design flaw is that the metal hardware that fastens the strap, and the inner seam can both rub your foot a little raw after more than an hour of walking. THis is not an issue if you are not walking much. That said, this is still more comfortable than all of the other dress shoes I own. The arch support is excellent, and the toe allows a natural spread. I am normally a 7.5Wide or 8Wide, and Danskos 39 fit me well.

Great all around shoe - If this is your first Dansko then be sure to order a size up. I was worried that they may be to dressy but they look great with jeans and skirts. I work out side a lot and I still like to wear them.

Dansko Marcelle is beautiful! I really like the look of Dansko's Marcelle.It's definitely the best-looking nurses shoe I've ever owned. It needs time to break in,being pretty uncomfortable at first, but they are gradually becoming very comfortable. The heel is the best--impossible to get a blister! I get lots of compliments.

After having two surgeries on the same foot I have been on the hunt for women’s shoes that will actually fit my size 12+ foot. I wear a size 43 in Algeria shoes and they fit perfect, but I ordered these in size 43 and my foot barely fit in them. Everyone keeps recommended Dansko to me, but every style I try doesn’t work and is painful on my foot. Definitely going to return.

I wear a women's 12, but still have a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet. These are super cute, but the band at the bottom of the toe area was very tight around my feet. I had to return these, but hope there may be some wide options in the future.

I have flat feet so I found the arch support too hard and uncomfortable and the strap did not support my foot enough.

I really wanted these to work? However, my foot is narrow with a narrow heel and these were way too wide. Back they go!

I am so disappointed in my Marcelles that I bought in 2016. The sole on one of them is cracking and the staples are falling out. I have a pair of the red ones I bought in 2008 which are still in great shape. This is the second pair of Danskos where the bottom has done this. Another pair I had for about five years had a heel which cracked open and fell apart. I'm not sure if the company is cutting corners on their quality in recent years, but I have pairs of Danskos I bought over a decade ago that are still in amazing shape.

This is a beautiful shoe; looks great on and works well with just about anything. The footbed was extremely comfortable too. However, the shoe was surprisingly heavy, making it feel unstable; the heaviness also made the strap very noticeable with every step. Plus, the strap has no elastic, so you have to buckle and unbuckle it every time -- which might be okay, except that the strap doesn't feel sturdy enough to last very long with that much use (and there's no chance of the shoe staying on without the strap). So, it was a no for me.

I'm not sure if my favorite pair of Dansko's were smaller than usual (purchased several yrs ago from Zappos) but these were huge! I have small feet but normal width, so a 35 or 36 is usually okay once orthodics are in the shoe. There aren't many Danskos I see in a 35 so I decided to try them. They were actually just as big as the size 36 Danskos I already have, if not bigger (see pic, the new pair is on the right)! Also, you can't remove the insole to put in orthodics. So I'm returning them. It's very difficult for me to find small size comfort shoes that I can fit orthodics into and are actually attractive. I do like the height of the platform to give me some height and make the arch not so tall and angled, so I wanted to give these a shot, but honestly, they were just too big and blocky.

I'm disappointed because these fit well but the arch is too high for me. They're uncomfortable, so they're going back.

I wanted to love these, but they were unfortunately too narrow. I don’t always require wide sizing and can often do regular. But these pinched, and I’d already sized up so a larger size isn’t an option. If dansko would make these in wide I’d try them. For now it’s back to the Algeria Paloma.

I ordered these yesterday and received them today, thanks Zappos. I’ve worn Danskos in the past but not for the past few years so I am aware about sizing up for room in the heel but these are way too big. I wear an 8 and ordered a 39 in the cordovan Cabrio leather, nice neutral color but wish they weren’t so shiny. Wanted to wear without socks and there’s no way I can keep them on my feet even with the strap. I like the look and support so I’m going to reorder in a smaller size, 38 and see how it works.

Shoe was very heavy and bulky. I returned then.

Should have got a size bigger. Too much pressure on the instep.

These are horribly made too...I’ve only had these a year and worn them maybe 10 times and they are leaning to the side...for the money these shoes cost U would think they would be made better! Going back to Ariat

great supportive shoe. fit a little wide. i have worn dansko for work for over 10 years. these marcelle and the professional styles no longer work for my feet. i"m so sad. the padding on the ball of my foot causes me pain and i now have to find the appropriate shoe for that. thanks zappos for your quick delivery.

I bought 2 pairs trying to figure out my size, but they were both too big! Very cute style and comfy, it's just hard to find your size . Returning both now

I keep trying Danskos in different styles because so many people rave about how great they are, but I just don't like them. They feel heavy on my feet, and I can't find the right size for my feet. If I order my regular size, they feel great until I start walking, then my big toe rubs the front of the shoe. If I order a size up, then they're too big and sloppy. I really wanted to love these shoes, but it just didn't work out. I prefer Alegria over Dansko.

Overall these were super cute shoes, but they seemed very large. I have several other pairs of Dansko's and these seemed to run really big. Alas back they will go. But as usual thanks to Zappos for making it so easy.

The teal leather is very dark, looked nearly black in person. Cute shoe but felt nearly a size smaller than marked. I had to return them.

I love danskos but this have an issue with this one. I couldn't love them no matter how hard I tried. They are different than the typical clog and feel much heavier on the ankle.

I am a dedicated DANSKO XP wearer for years - always my go to shoe. Thought I would mix it up and try the Marcelle for a change. I will be exchanging for the XP. Let's face it, DANSKOs are kind of clunky (they are clogs after all) but the Marcelle flattered even less. And unless you love the top of your feet, need to wear socks or hosiery.

I usually wear 38 or 38 wide, this feels too large and clunky when you lift the foot, the strap doesn't really help, I will stick with the classic clog.
