I think they will be warm, but my oh my are they HUGE - I admit that I have large feet-- usually an 11, but when they came my first thought was "man boots". They feel really big and roomy (a.k.a. WIDE) on my feet and I do wish that I had ordered down a size. The color that I ordered is sold out, so I think I will keep them but DO wish I had listened to the other reviews about them running large.

Classic Snow Boot - There are many things to like about this boot: the ice-gripping tread, easy lacing, insulation, waterproof bottom, and so on. I really wanted these to work, but my feet are narrow, and the boots are *extremely* wide. I thought of ordering a size down to reduce the width, but the length seems close to or true to size.

Just ready for winter. This is my second pair of these - the first were pillaged by a neighbor who needed warmth and traction more than I did. It took one snowfall for me to realize I was never getting them back and needed to order another pair. Sorel just knows what they're doing and is ready for winter.

Phenomenally fast delivery! I ordered these boots yesterday afternoon, and they arrived at 2pm today! They are very comfortable, and will be perfect with a pair of woolies. This is the 4th pair of shoes that I have bought from Zappos, and the speedy delivery time beats anyone anywhere; I buy nearly everything online. This is my first pair of serious snow boots, and I am not dissapointed. Snowing today, and I have already been out shoveling in them, 20 degrees, no cold toes here. And they are the coolest looking boots, classic.

"Yahoo Caribou" These boots are really comfortable...so easy to get on and off. They keep my feet really warm and look good, too! Now we need lots and lots of snow to put them to good use! Marsha O.

This boot is very warm and definitely keeps your feet dry. I ordered a half a size smaller than normal and it was still a bit big. You could probably be safe ordering a full size smaller than normal.

Way too small in the size I always order (7.5). I can't decide if I should order an 8 or 8.5 because I do love the shoe itself; dressy, not too fancy, sturdy, not too high heel. Great except the size was disappointing.

Job Well Done! I wear an 11M at minimum, often have to go with at 12 (because that's the only other option), and I took a gander at the largest size available, 11, in the Caribou. It fits well and is very warm. Good experience with the lining. The boots are a bit wider than I would prefer, but still feel great. The "Dusty Dark" color is amazing: like an exotic neutral!

Great snow boots! I ordered them in black and I'm really happy with the way they look and fit. Being a size 6.5, I tried them in both 6 and 7. Size 6 seemed to fit best. I tried them on with Smartwool Mountaineering Xheavy socks and there was still just enough room - in size 6 - to where my toes did not touch the front of the boot. If you're between sizes, I recommend sizing down. Otherwise, order true to size.

zomg love - i LOVE these boots, i feel like an awesome viking tromping around the wilderness...of Washington, D.C.:) They're heavier than similar looking boots but SO much better. They are waterproof and warm, so my urban lifestyle is comfortable, yet they're still feminine and stylish. I wear a 6.5 to a 7, and got the seven. I suppose if I were to wear them barefoot they'd be a bit loose, but they fit nicely with standard athletic socks.

I love this boot!!! This is my second pair of Sorel’s. I am still wearing my first pair that I bought in the early 1990's. I had surgery on my feet, so they get cold easily. I can honestly say that I have never gotten cold feet in Sorel’s. Thank you for carrying them.

Very happy - I have tested these boots in deep puddles and snow. Definitely waterproof as stated. They look cute as well. They are sort of clunky, not for moving very fast, but I love them. I live in Chicago and they are great. Very warm as stated as well. The liners are awesome and you don't even need socks. I got the black ones because I thought the buff would get too dirty. Very happy with color as well. They are not jet black, but more on the blue side. If you want to wear them without the liners, you will need to order a size down. I ordered my usual shoes size and they fit perfectly with the liners.

I'm 'Sorel' sorry. The boots felt fine when I first tried them on, but once I put them to use, I found that the right boot is actually painful to wear. It is digging into my ankle and is not improved with heavy socks. The left boot is great and has plenty of room for my wide foot and bunion. Wish I would have walked around in them longer in the house first before taking them hiking. I would have returned them and tried a different pair.

Sorel Women’s Caribou - Runs big, I am a 9.5 to 10 W, and a 9W fit me fine. It was a med, I might go with a narrow if you don't want the "clunk". This is a handsome, functional boot for those more interested in keeping warm and having traction. I also own an ULU boot, which is just as warm, and less clunky. The problem is it is not as hardy. After two years, the leather is tearing in places, letting H2O in. They were out of black...I ordered "asphalt". I looked like it had a greenish tint to it in the photo, yet it is a nice darker gray color. I actually prefer it over black (and I haven’t seen any one else with this color!). Non-buff colors rarely go on sale... so just pay retail for the boot (it will keep you toasty forever...and the liners are even replaceable). PS, could use more arch support!

Sorel rocks! I have worn various Sorel boots for over 30 years and these are fantastic! Nice looking, and oh, so comfortable!

STILL QUALITY SOREL CARIBOU - I needed a utility boot for serious cold. This is still the one that fits that niche. Warm, dry, durable, I outgrew the 1st pair & passed them down...! They never wore out! This lining is warm & dry as well. This winter is cold & puts it to the test! Enjoy! T

Fantastic boot for the cold weather - I was hesitant to keep this boot - I was searching for the perfect outdoor-tough/city-cute combo, and did like the Sorel Kaya a lot. However, when it came down the functionality, this boot won by a large margin. I ended up getting the green color which adds some spunk. I have not regretted this purchase at all, as a matter of fact, I just convinced my husband to get a pair.

Love them! I learned about Sorrel’s from my ski lift operator sister 20 years ago. They keep your feet warm and dry in any weather, even standing still in the snow for several hours at a time. They are still the best thing on the market.

Serious boot! My sister gave these to me as a gift and they are awesome. They are built like a fortress. Nothing will get in them. I spent all day yesterday and the day before rolling around in the 3 feet of snow we got this weekend. Built a 6' snowman, played tag with my kids, made snow angels, etc. And my feet stay totally and completely dry and warm...and I wore them barefoot! They do run a little big though. I wear a 9 1/2-10, my sister got me a 9 and they fit perfectly. In all the playing around, my toes never touched the front of the boot lol. Bottom line: Great boot! If you want something a little "prettier" though I also recommend the ULU Seona boot. They are so soft that I want to sleep in them but are also completely waterproof and are much taller than the Sorel.

Sorel Caribou - I love my Sorel Caribou boots. They are warm totally functional and comfortable; the edamame color is a bonus. I have a wide foot that is difficult to fit these are a good fit even with a heavy wool sock. My teenage daughters each have a pair.

It is what is is, and does what it does. In that sense, it's a great boot. I have high arches and had to work to get the boot on initially. Better after some wear. Keeps my feet warm and dry in the worst Midwestern weather. I miss my Canadian Sorel’s but oh well. You'll like these.

Run huge!!! I ordered a 7 but they are massive on my feet to the point that they almost fall off. I made the mistake of not returning them and keeping the 7s. I still love them and wear them all the time but I always wish I had ordered a 6.

Warm, Good looking boots - Finally my feet were warm when we were out on the ice fishing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, etc. I think the reason these feel a little smaller than most boots is because of the liner.

Overall I really like them... Although I have only worn them a few times so far, overall, I really like them. The only thing that I don't like is they seem very heavy and a little oversized.
