They felt very inflexible in the ankle and I couldn't walk naturally. They felt comfortable in the width, which is nice for snow boots in case you want to wear a warm sock. They're very heavy though. I'm honestly not sure how I'd wear them or what for. I wouldn't want to walk on them in deep snow. They feel like bricks. If there's no snow, I'd rather wear something more comfortable.

Do not size down. So many reviews suggested this. I am typically a 7/7.5 so I ordered the 7. Toes were hitting front of boot with a heavier sock.

I'm short 5' 2' so the stiffness of the top of the boot hit too high on on my calf. I like the idea of the height, the funnel of the boot was too stiff so the edge of the boot pushed too much into the back of my calf.

Not for the big girls! If you are plus size, don't bother.

Love these boots! Especially fantastic for the current (freezing) conditions in Boston! Fit is great-my daughters keep borrowing them!

Extremely large, wide, heavy and clunky.

Ridiculously HUGE! I had to double check that I didn't accidentally order men's boots when I open these up. They are at least a half a size to a whole size too large, and ridiculously wide. I have a pretty large frame and probably a average to wide foot and even on me these are so large they look ridiculous. The sizing with sorel is so inconsistent now depending on which style you order.

Runs a bit small. Not very comfortable - had an older version for many years that was much more comfortable. Returning

I wanted to love these boots, they were stylish and had such great reviews. I don't know if it's the pair I got, or how they all are, but the shaft of the boot had zero flexibility or give in it. When I would walk, they would not move at all, so that the back of the shaft was digging into my calf on every step. Bit hard to explain but I wouldn't have been able to walk more than 10 feet in them at any given time. Had to return.

I recently moved to Minnesota and these boots were highly recommended by locals. I find them comfortable, warm, and cute. I’m now one of those Minnesotans recommending!

I read reviews that they run large but I think they are true to size. I normally wear a 8.5 and will return the 8 for an 8.5

Though these boots feel a bit heavy as many snow boots do, they are warm and cozy on snowy, cold winter days when I have to shovel out my car.

I bought an 8 and wear a 7.5 but even with no socks it was too small.

Sizing wasn’t correct. Boots fit way bigger than 6.5

These boots fit well and seem super good quality. Some of the other reviewers noted the weight of this boot, and I've never even noticed the weight of boots or shoes, so I didn't think much of it. However, I immediately noticed their weight once I tried them on and walked around the house in them. (it reminded me of ski boot weight!) I had to go outside so I changed to my old Sorel boots (similar style only taller and 10+ years old) - and whoa! My old ones were a fraction of the weight of the new Sorel boots. I'm returning them and opting for the Sorel Carnival boot which seems more in line with the style (and hopefully weight) of my old Sorel boots. I do wish the Carnival had a leather upper, though.

Waterproof, very warm but kind of bulky. They are needed for snow and rainy days so I was not expecting comfort but dry, warm feet and they do their job!

Love these! Kept my feet dry and warm this winter!

Too small

These shoes are very stiff. I've worn them multiple times hoping they would loosen up, but they haven't so my ankles hurt when I wear them. There is ZERO arch support which I thought wouldn't be a big deal since I have flat feet, but it does cause discomfort. I really wish I could return them since they were so pricey and I don't like them, but I've worn them outside multiple times already so I'm past the point of being able to return them. They aren't awful if worn for a short period of time, but if you'll be moving for more than 5 minutes, they're terrible.

Want to live these - and im used to big heavy snow boots, but oh my word these are SO heavy. And the 6.5 is quite small for a boot — im usually a 6.5 which fits well — these my toes hit the front.
