LINER IS TOO TIGHT VERY VERY HARD TO PUT THE BOOTS ON. I'M GOING TO CUT THE FRONT OF THE LINER TO MAKE IT EASIER TO PUT ON.

if you are looking for a serious snow boot, then you have come to the right place. these boots are even more substansial than i was expecting. i was originally looking for a saturday-running-errands kind of boot that would also be a good snow boot. i will not be wearing these to run around town on saturdays, but i will be using these to shovel lots of snow. the boots are quite heavy and bulky. also very warm with the liner in there. i bought a 9 which i normally wear and they fit just fine. looking forward to owning these for years, the quality is unmatched by other boots on the market.

I love the boots when I am wearing them. The lining is tough to get on and difficult to get off.....They would be better if the middle of the lining (where the tounge would be) was elasticized.

I haven't worn these out in the snow yet...will try them out in about 3 days though. They are extremely well made, durable, thick, and warm. They are a true 11 Medium. I am an 11 wide normally and therefore have to wear thin ski socks to accommodate for the lack of width I usually require. (They don't come in wides). But if you wish, you can order the exact same shoe in a man's size if needed. They are not lightweight but instead are pretty heavy. They probably need to be that way for the type of weather they will face.

fingers that come with size 15 feet don't fit into pull on loop for size 7 hole!

I bought these to go on a ski trip. They are a lot bulkier then they look on the model. I am normally a size 9 to 8.5 so I got the 8 and without socks they swallow my feet but with thicker socks they fit perfectly. If I take the insert out they are really big on me. I have heard wonderful things about their durability and I hope they will last me a long time.

These boots are huge. The rubber part on the bottom is very wide. They are cute and stylish but I just felt like I had too much on my foot. They were too heavy, so I returned them.

My family has relied on Sorels to keep our feet warm in the winter for years. I wanted dark brown boots with felt liners to match my coat but could not find any in women's so bought men's. They are cozy but I'm wondering if they would be warmer if the liners were wool. Also, the liners have a sort-of stretchy front panel that I assume is supposed to "give" enough to easily get the boots off and on. However it does not work! I cut open the panel and sewed a piece black elastic across the opening at the ankle and midway up the calf. Now they slip on and off without a fight and pulling off my socks. I think they'll work for me--hopefully for the next 15 years, just like my last pair of Sorels.

The Caribou is very hard to get in and out of...I usually have someone pull them off for me. They are fairly warm but I wouldn't say good for -40 as rated The treads are great! I didn't feel as though they were really bulky or hard to walk in. I really do like the boots except for the fact they are so difficult to get on and off. I almost wish I had gotten the mens for that reason, I think they would have been easier to remove.

Good looking for a hardy winter boot. Reviews were mixed about whether it ran large or small. I ordered my typical size and could not get right foot into the boot. The other was tight across the instep. Thank goodness I'd also ordered one size larger. I rated the boot based on the larger pair.

I'm sure this is a very good snow boot but for my size 6 foot it seems a bit heavy. Lacing and getting it snug enough was a bit of a hassle. I'm returning this pair and keeping the Baffin Chloe in Sand.
I'd also recommend:

I love the color, they are not true to size so I'd wear thick socks since 1/2 sizes are not available.

Books are warm and durable, but a bit clunky. Wish they came in half sizes- 9 is a bit big, but I'm afraid an 8 would be too small. I'll keep the 9's for now. They are still comfortable, even if they are big.

Just tryed my Boots on this Morning, They are snug( but after a few wears, I am sure they will loosen up a little bit).. I think they will be fine...It is 90 degrees here, so I will not be wearing them any time soon...(only to break them in) This is my first pair of Sorel Boots ,After the winter we hate last year, I am really hoping they stand up to their claims..I hate having cold wet feet!!! Check back with me this winter..and I will give you my full claims to how I like them, and how they stand up ..

These boots are great. Great in the snow, rain, good traction, nice warmth, waterproof. Only thing is they're kind of difficult to walk in. Reminds me of walking in ski boots. I think they just need to be broken in a little bit, and they'll be fine. I have a feeling these boots will last me a long time.

The Caribou is a comfortable boot but needs more arch support. If you were going to use this boot for a long winter hike, you would want to get an arch insert.

I had these sent to New York when I was going to visit my daughter. By the time I arrived the snow was all gone. I have tried these on and wore them around the house. Similar to others, I find the boots run large and the liners run small. I put the liners on first and then the boots. Maybe they will stretch over time. The boots seem very warm and water tight. I actually hope we get one more snow so I can try them out!

These boots are just awsome ! They are very well built and the removable insert is such a great feature . The only complaint I have is the lack of half sizes available . I wear a size 11.5 and I tried ordering an 11hoping the might run big . They were a little tight so I went up to a size 12 . The 12 is loose on my foot and I have to wear thick socks witch is a killer since the boots are so warm . The other problem is at size 12 you move into the next overall boot size , so the boots are taller and look a bit clunky on me now . If you do wear a whole size though , these are the way to go !

These boots are warm, warm, warm. Perhaps not the most feminine, but they keep the toes toasty while shoveling and walking the dog through drifts. I'd love it if Sorel designed something this height, but a little bit more narrow. It's clear these were designed for men as when I removed the liner, the inner boot was marked with the corresponding men's size.

I'm a freshman at Indiana University and have to walk at least 15 minutes to each of my classes. This winter has been brutal especially with the snowcalypse. Right before it hit, I told my dad that my Fuggs weren't cutting it and needed new boots so I ordered these. These boots have kept my feet dry and warm in this terrible weather. They look good and I can tell will last me throughout college. They are a tad big however and have caused some blisters on the back of my heel, but with a tall pair of socks folded over there's no problem. I like my shoes a bit roomier and wear 8s in Nike Women's but I think I should have gone at least a half-size smaller. But they are totally worth the money. I love them and all the girls on my floor like them too! =]
