There was no arch support in these sneakers, which was a surprise, as I was ordering a replacement for an older pair of the same shoes I had just completely worn out. Length and width were fine, just no support.

They were worn before I got them. They had marks and discoloring on the soles like they were walked in outside. The left shoe was narrower than the right, I measured it. Not by much - 1/8 inch but noticeable when I had them on. Didn't seem like EE either.

WInter Wheat color is a strange light green color. Does not look like picture.

Very poor fit. The shoe was tight and low at the toe box and painfully small around the ankle. Arch support is a piece of fabric. Will be returned immediately

The sole was much too stiff; it wouldn't bend easily as I walked in the house to try it out. Also, my wife said the shoe looked kind of cheap, but to be fair, it is quite inexpensive. I returned them right away.

I actually returned these because the toe box is quite small and not tall enough for my hammertoe. I usually wear a women's 12 but was burned out after trying about 5 pairs of women's 12. I hoped these would feel bigger, but I first ordered a men's 10-1/2 narrow, and those were way too small, so I returned them and ordered a men's 10-1/2 medium, but even those felt way too narrow and confining. I've finally found some men's Ecco oxfords that work for me.

I have purchased Rockport Pro Walkers since they first came out and have owned at least 8 pairs. I tend to agree with other critical reviews; these "new" Rockport's are now made in India, rather than Vietnam as in the past. The leather is pebbly and shiny, rather than the smooth, fine grain leather they previously used. The insoles are laughably thin, even in the heel area; I had to replace them with expensive gel insoles with arch support. The soles are exceedingly stiff. The 9E fit my wide feet perfectly.

I bought one pair of Rockport ProWalker M7100 in size 11.5 Medium a few months ago. A lot of dog walking has about worn them out. I purchased two more pairs and was very disappointed because they were both narrower than the other pair. I measured them and each was at least 1/8 inch narrower than the previous pair.

I was somewhat cautious about purchasing these shoes, and rightfully so. The reviews were all pretty old, as in 4-5 years. I had also read about people buying the same shoes for years, only to have the company change them, and they no longer liked the shoe. I stand on a concrete floor for 8+ hours a day and it takes its toll on my feet and back. I need something with good support and that are comfortable when standing. I put these shoes on and stood on my kitchen floor to try them out. Within 5 minutes, my feet were not happy and shortly thereafter my legs began to hurt. They felt like bricks on my feet. I returned them. It appears that like many other shoes, these have been changed, and not for the better. I leaned to go with recent reviews and not older ones.

Disappointed: bought the "wide" but felt just like a "medium." Additionally, my teen and pre-teen sons both said "old man shoes, need a cane with tennis balls on it." Returned.

The "XL" (that has in parenthesis "4E") is simply not as wide as a 4E. It definitely looks and feels like a D.

I've been wearing Rockports for decades, but it seems like they have switched manufacturing process. Shoes I bought in September are already losing the the soles from separation, probably because of a cheap adhesive.

My most recent order for hubbys shoes. Style and fit great. Would return due to filth but my hubby needs the bigger shoe due to recent foot surgery and needs them for a work trip. The Rockports arrived with grass and mud still attached! Gross! First time ever we've received an order in such horrible condition.

I bought these shoes as a dresser alternative to my more athletic walking shoes. They do look dresser, but they lack any meaningful support. My feet were killing me after only a short distance. Despite the name, these are NOT walking shoes.

I have become yet another victim of Rockport's new ProWalker M7100. The new model is not even remotely the same shoe they used to be. They have a thin stiff sole, no support, and no cushion; complete waste of time and money. Take a look at brooks they're simply a superior shoe and what I am going back to.

No arch support at all. Other reviews must be basing their excellent arch support comments on added orthotics. Also long for size, Extra Wide not wide where it matters in the ball of the foot, and quite stiff.

Flat inside. No arch support, no room to put in an arch support. Had to return them.

I have very difficult feet to fit. This shoe seemed too narrow for a 4E. The tongue, lace holes came up very high on my foot.

Surprisingly mediocre to be honest. Almost no cushion in the soles, and rather tight around the toes. I've had Payless shoes that were half the price and twice as comfortable. Returning these and trying something else.

I would expect a Rockport to feel good pretty much instantly, and these just felt pinched and stiff to me. Also, even for my plain tastes this shoe is a bit homely.

I have been wearing rockport ProWalker shoes for many years. This was the first purchase from Zappos. This pair compared to others that were bought at reputable shoe stores is made very very cheap. There is no comparison. The soles are thinner, even the outer leather is lighter, not to say the shoe laces are even different. Not the same prowalkers that I have had in the past.

I love these shoes - I stand up while working very often and these are very good shoes, otherwise I would not have bought them four times now. However, this last pair is literally coming apart at the seams after 8 months or so. I'm very disappointed.

Product is not a very good "walking shoe". They should take the name walker out of it. Not much tread or traction on the sole and the shoe is difficult to break in. Will not buy Rockport again.

Have worn the shoes for a couple of weeks and continues to bother the outside of one foot. and that's trading them off every couple of days with another older pair of Rockports. Sole is too flat.
