Other than the loose feel of 1/2 size larger. Own Rockport walker before; Comfortable but doesn't last long. The sole warp/tilt on the outer sides after 6 months of regular use. I guess most walking shoes are like that.

Decent shoe, but lost its comfort after a short while. I replaced with the New Balance MW 576 and the New Balance is a MUCH better shoe.

Not quite the same - I was desperate for a pair of Rockports since the nearest store is 120 miles away. I have worn 8100 for the last 3 years and decided to try the 7100. Well, I will be traveling 120 miles away to buy the 8100 once again. I was a bit disappointed in the 7100 because they feel like my 8100s feel after wearing them for 6 months, low to the ground and feeling the floor beneath them. I believe the 8100 have more cushion. Rockports have been my shoe of choice for the last 17 years.

Your shoe sizes are not clear enough. I normally wear a 9.5 D in shoes for men. However, your 9.5 D is too narrow. I had to exchange it for your 9.5 W for a good fit.

Was not at all comfortable. Too stiff. Foot slapped down with each step.

Uncomfortable, not well built, not true to size in length or width.

For a ProWalker, this shoe was incredibly uncomfortable. It says it's all leather but it feels like a stiff rubber material. A huge difference compared to their Chranson Walking shoe which is very soft. Sadly, the sizes for the Chranson are all messed up. The jump from an 8 1/2 to a 9 was huge in width.

Fit and size were true. Sole is too stiff and feels too thick/inflexible.

These shoes were built well on the outside but their little or no cushion on the inside. I returned these shoes for this reason.

This is one of the few times Rockport has not fit as expected. Too tight through the ball and toes. Little or no arch support. I returned them.

These shoes were exactly the style my husband was looking for, but they were too narrow (he does wear narrow shoes). Other widths were not available in his size. So I have to give a low review.

The good news is that length and width were perfect for my narrow feet. The soles are almost rigid, flexing very little and very hard. There is no arch support. The insole has next to no padding, making the shoe overall very uncomfortable to wear. This is described as a walking shoe but they hurt my feet when I walk in them.
