The M7100 Prowalker is a poor substitute for the M9200 Prowalkers that were discontinued 3 or 4 years ago. The one piece sole on the M7100 is hard and doesn't hold up as well as the built up, layered earlier design. The M7100 doesn't wear as well as the older model nor do I find it as comfortable. Even with some extra cost, I'd much prefer the M9200 Prowalkers. Please bring that design back..... I think I purchased 4 pair of the 9200's over 10+ years and they held up extremely well.

They were just too stiff and tight around my ankles. The front width was okay but just too stiff for my arthritic feet.

I wish that the toe area didn't taper, I ordered a wide width but the toe box tapers and that made it not wide enough where I need it to be, I would like to have the toe box wider when I order a wide width. The ones i received had an odd odor maybe it is the leather that they use? I also prefer that they flex a bit but the bottom is very rigid so if you want that these are good for you. They seem very well made and actually have stitching instead of glue and that is a bonus. I wish that they had worked out. They are a bit "mature" looking if you don't mind that.

Not as wide as I hoped. I still wear them sometimes but it chafes my outer toes. I should have returned them. These are not WW even though Rockport says they are regardless of the label; but they're not!

We ended up ordering a size larger after exchanging them - of course ours is special situation since we needed to insert brace, but did feel if they had been wider we could have kept the smaller size. Like all Rockports - they are great quality.

I noted no arch support but I don't have a problem with my arches so it is no big deal. The laces are cheap not like the older ProWalker's I have purchased in the past. I have been wearing Pro Walkers a long time and these are the first where I found the laces to be cheap. Also the lining at the bottom of the shoe is very thin compared to previous ProWalkers I have owned. Consider making these thicker and or leather. In my opinion these shoes would be great if the lining was thicker or all leather and the laces were not so cheap.

Look far better in the ad than in person. Look like an old man’s walking shoes. I returned them

I ordered a 9 M. When I tried them on they felt too narrow and felt my big toe pressed against the other toe. I tried to stretch them and walk in the house with them they didn't feel any better. Returned the shoes.

The fit is okay but they are not the most comfortable shoes that I have had. Maybe they will be okay after a while.

First and foremost-the shoes are comfortable and have decent support. The one drawback is the bottom (sole) of the shoe-rather than a rubber sole, it's almost like a hard plastic with virtually no give or flex to it. On a hard surface floor these shoes are very noisy-clop, clop, clop with every step.

Worn this model for 30 years. Still have a little-worn pair I've been saving that fit great. The new purchase looks the same, but the fit is much too tight. Obviously, selling off the business to another manufacturer has hurt the R o c k p o r t brand, but I would like to think whenever a local supplier has a size in stock that fits, my supply of comfortable shoes can resume. Z's was great to deal with, just had to click the "return" box and they emailed the return shipping label. Note to Z a p p o 's! fix the spell checker so your business name does not cause a spelling error and refuse the review.

They are very comfortable, but I was disappointed in the durability. After wearing them for less than a year the uppers are all scuffed up and the soles are worn down to the next layer.

My husband has a pair he ordered some time ago and he loves them. They were lighter, bigger, and softer than they are now. I ordered the same size and they are definitely narrower. and stiffer. The old ones were made in Vietnam and these are made in India. Too bad, we are returning them. I would love to know how to tell the Rockport shoe company. They have always been so reliable in the past. Maybe it is just this style?

The sole is too stiff to suit me and the toe box is too tight. If I were to order the wider size, I fear that the heel would then be too loose.

Great shoe! Very comfortable. Only complain is they get dirty so quickly and it's noticeable. I clean them every few days and they still look worn out

I wanted to see if Rockport could make walking shoes as well as well as their outdoor boots. I would have preferred better arch support and more cushioning in the soles. They are well made though.

I'm a female and wear a women's 13N so I bought these shoes in 12 B. They fit, though I did have to get one stretched across the toe box. I have flat feet and also need a lot of heel stability. This shoe is OK with my orthotics in, but definitely lacking in 'heel stability.' The leather seems good and for a man's shoe is it's nice and low-profile, but I do wish they'd worked on making the soles a bit beefier.

True to size. Shoe flexes in the wrong part of the arch -- too close to the heel rather than at the ball of the foot. Sole is stiff. Style is pretty bad but relatively discreet compared with other brands in this category.
