They are too STIFF. Not a normal shoe. It's like walkingin cement shoes

Been wearing Rockports for nearly 40 years. I have never found any shoes that fit my feet as well. I have not purchased a new pair in more than a decade. The latest ones have a thinner insole with less support. I always replace the insole with a custom one for better arch support, but in this case they would've been unwearable otherwise. The model I purchased came with flat sneaker laces which are more tedious to pull tight than the old round laces that many used to sport. I will likely have to replace them too. These additions will add $70 to the otherwise extremely reasonable price for this excellent shoe.

Good looking shoes. Soles are still stiff, need to break them in more. Footbed is comfortable.

Although it had the size I ordered on the box and shoe, the shoe was smaller than advertised. Another shoe ordered at the same time with the same size was appropriate. they were manufactured in different countries and must use different "lasts."

I didn’t like the look. They fit well. They weren’t as cushiony as I am used to. I like the real leather.

The shoes seem well made but the most uncomfortable Rockport shoe I have owned so I have not worn them very much.

Too bad they don't make a smaller size. I ordered a size 7 because it was the smallest they had. It is too big and the right shoe rubs on the top of my foot. Left is OK.

It's wide enough but just not comfortable walking in them. Not what I was expecting from Rockport.

Same review as w the sneaker I bought. Usually wear size 10. Have ordered Rockport before and went up a 1/2 size. Still a bit small

I wanted to like these shoes, but they felt too short and too narrow, compared to the size marked.

Shoe was smaller than original size. I order a 10.5 wide, they were hard to put on, and once I got them on, they were tight across the top of my foot.

Looks good. The tab on the tongue of one of the shoes broke with first use. Too much of a hassle to send them back. Very comfortable. Shame about the poor quality.

Fit and size were good. Drawback was that the shoe looked more like a sneaker, and would not go well with slacks.

Have had many ProWalkers. First try of M7100. Upper eyelets tie too far down on my instep. Not comfortable enough.

Very few shoes come in 7 1/2 XW (4E). These, however, felt a little narrower than their marked size. There is a slight arch but not really much. I think I remember having had a pair of these shoes a long time ago before they were made in China and they were better then. My 2016 Dunham Burlingtons, made when both Rockport and Dunham were New Balance brands, fit better though not true to size (I wear 7 4E in those and 8W in Florsheim!). But those aren't available any more. Maybe these Rockports will feel better with more breaking in.

When I first tried these shoes on, they felt stiff, especially the sole, which is considerably harder and less yielding than the vibram soles I'm used to wearing. Even when I walked around the house with them for a few days, my feet did not feel comfortable in them. Admittedly, my feet have minimal arch, so I can't really comment accurately on the arch support, except to say that for me it wasn't there. I was planning on returning them, but wanted to shop locally first to see if I could find a shoe that would feel better on my feet. After trying on at least 10-12 pairs of different brand shoes, , and not finding any to my liking, I figured on giving these another chance, which I did. I took a chance and wore them outside, knowing I'd be stuck with them if I still didn't like them. As of this writing, I have walked almost 2 miles in them, and was surprised how much better they feel now that they're broken in a bit. They're still a bit stiff on the inside of my right ankle, but I expect that will work in as well, in time. For now I'm going with 3 stars until they break in some more.

Leather a bit tough and bumps inside so had and painful to break in. Not as good as three years ago.
