I pronate to an extreme, so greater arch support is always desired, but this shoe does its job well enough and, an important concern for me, looks professional. I am happy with the purchase.

I require the extra wide width not available in most sport shoes. I have worn New Balance forever but wanted to try something a bit more on "dressy" side - but still casual enough to wear with jeans. The Rockports felt just a tad larger than the NB, but all other aspects filled the bill.

This is a nice looking shoe....the feel of an athletic type shoe but with an upgraded, more professional look. I've owned Rockports before and liked them a lot. They lasted a long time. The only thing I don't like about this pair is they make a "clop clop" sound when walking on a hard surface. Not loud, but not silent either.

These shoes appeared to be well made and true to size 10.5 and 4E width. I was hoping for the best, but unfortunately, Rockport doesn't seem to carry a 5E width, which is what I really needed so I had to return these.

I bought these to replace an existing pair. They work well for me, are comfortable, and I can get away with wearing them to the office. Not spectacular, they are a solid choice that I'm likely to repeat again next year.

I have been getting them for years. This pair was/is on sale but they are not made in Vietnam anymore. Had to send them back. Top articulation on right big toe hits a sewn in hard patch that was ALWAYS smooth before. Too bad I liked these shoes for the price, especially because the sides of my feet never rubbed on any seams..

I am on my feet all day, and buy these same shoes approximately every six months. They are very comfortable straight from the box. I appreciate the roomy toebox. The soles hold up nicely, as does the rest of the shoe. : After about five months of daily wear, the footbed gets lumpy and uncomfortable. They are not removable.

This is at least the third time I've purchased a ProWalker shoe, but for some reason this pair doesn't feel as comfortable as the previous pairs did, so I'm a bit disappointed. I've had good luck with this shoe over the years, so I'm giving it four stars based mostly on previous experience.

These have been a perfect fit for my husband. I hope they continue to make them. They used to make them for women but no longer do. I love their womens walking shoes which Rockport no longer makes.

Very comfortable. Haven't had them long enough to rate wear. As per all shoes made in Asia they run narrow. No blems or flaws. Sole is more like regular shoe but is supportive now. Will reevaluate later this summer once I get miles on them.

Very comfortable, excellent quality with the white color. The finish started flaking off on the putty colored version, however.

I use these for work where I stand for at least 8 hours a day 40 hours per week and these are one of the most comfortable and stylish pair of shoes I have owned. However, I would like to have some insoles for additional comfort. All in all though this is a good buy. Great job!

Great quality, but not as comfortable as I expected. The style is great and the feel of them in Rockport all the way, but when standing for more than an hour or so, the lack of arch support really becomes noticeable and places a lot of your weight on the balls of your feet. And, being straight bottomed, they "clomp" when you walk as you move from heel to top foot (heel hits then the mid to top of shoe hits at once and makes a clomping nose because they are flat on the bottom). Not my best shoe, but pretty good!

I've owned many Rockports and loved them. But I had a unique problem with this one. The sizing seemed inconsistent. The size I thought would fit was swimming on me. No big deal, just change sizes. But I ended up changing multiple times and the sizes didn't seem consistent. For example, the 2nd to last pair seemed to fit fine in length but was a little tight. I went up one width. I kept the last pair, but need to wear very thick socks because 1 size wider was a lot wider and longer, too. They're great walking shoes and don't mind wearing the extra thick socks but it also means I can't really wear them for anything else.

I really like the look of these shoes, which I use as dress shoes because my bad feet can't deal with true dress shoes. I had hoped they would feel like the tennis shoes I had worn in the past because they are marketed as walking shoes. Well, they work. They are not uncomfortable and have good support. They are just a little too hard on the bottom for my plantar fasciitis. Still, I can wear them all day and not hurt.

This shoe could have been the perfect shoe. Needs a little more support in the arch and could be a little more stylish. It is comfortable and I'll probably buy another pair.

These are great shoes. I walk two miles every day and they are very comfortable. The only negative thing that I can say is that the flat soles don't have much traction in the slippery conditions. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. It's a good quality shoe that looks good.

I have worn Rockort and other brands! I keep going back the Prowaler because the are comfortable and don't need breaking-in. I purchased two pair this time so i can change off!

I bought these to replace a worn out pair of the previous generation of this shoe. At some point in its design history, the entirely leather upper have been partially replaced with a fake leather, leading to a general decrease in quality, and I think, an overall shorter lifespan of the shoe. Unfortunate. The shoe remains comfortable for long hours. Even after a 10 hour day of standing and walking, my feet are not a bit sore.

I have had these shoes for several weeks and I have worn them quite a bit during that time. I work in a professional environment but I enjoy walking and geocaching during my spare time. These shoes are handle the exercise and still look nice in the office. Two things I don't care for about them are that they brand the shoe on the tongue (which I think looks cheap) and I like a shoe with a lot of arch support which these do not seem to me to have. My concern going forward is in how well the sole will hold up. All in all, I found these to be a very decent shoe at a good price.

I've always like Rockport because their 'wide' sizes always were wide. These shoes are a nice simple look and offer good support.

My husband says these slip at the heel and they are not as comfortable as the rockport walkers we have purchased in the store in the past.He says they are narrow on his arch. Price was very good ,

These are perfect traveling shoes. You can walk all day in them with comfort, and, if you are going to the ballet, you can wear them with a sport coat in the evening. I brought a pair to Moscow and St. Petersburg and did just that. Saves on luggage space devoted to shoes.

An 8.5, narrow width shoe is difficult to find. Even at Zappos. So I really don't have much to compare it to. However, these Rockport shoes fit fine, feel comfortable and wear quite well. This is my second pair. They are great for everyday use, but don't offer enough support for walking long distances (over five miles). Good shoe at a fair price.
