Customer Reviews New Balance Classics W801 - Deleted

Just what I needed! Having recently had extensive back surgery where I cannot bend over for at least 6 months, yet need to go walking to strengthen myself, I was left dependent on someone else to help me put on my regular tie New Balance shoes--even with an extended length shoe horn and non-tying laces, I couldn't get my shoes on by myself because the tongue would scrunch up in the process. I always get New Balance because they come in wide sizes, which I need. At the peak of my frustration, I was excited to see these slip-on shoes! Anyway, these are perfect for me because I can just slip them on and go do my walking without depending on anyone to help me. They are very comfortable and just what I needed!

Sneaky Sneaker - I love to be able to "slip into" my shoes and this one is a great tennis shoe that is easy to put on and take off. It has great traction and is a surprisingly good walking shoe.

New Balance 801 - I found these shoes to be very comfortable. I bought the light brown pair and they fit true to size. I also bought a pair of the white breast cancer shoes and they were a little bit larger, but not enough to drop a size. I just had back surgery so I was looking for a shoe that I could put on as I can't bend to tie a sneaker and I live in these. They are great. I have also used my custom orthotics in these shoes but they are a little on the snug side when I do that, but wearable.

Smart, comfortable shoe - I live along the coast and this shoe is ideal year round. I wear orthotics and the shoe accommodates the supports while giving me a fashionable look as well. I have bought six pairs of 801s and worn out three. It's a great casual shoe. The suede styles tend to stretch out more quickly than the canvas style. How about new color combinations?!

Great shoe! Loved this shoe, its very comfortable, great for working out, and jogging!

Really like these shoes - This is my second pair of these shoes. Ordered a half size smaller this time, and they fit better than my first pair. Could even remove the insoles to make room for my own orthotics. I like the grey color too.

Loved this shoe!!! Loved everything about this shoe!!! Very comfy for one and I bought the all white ones, so they go great with everything!!! Oh and everywhere I go it seems someone wants to know where I bought them because they're so cute!! I recommend these to anyone.

Denise B. This was my third pair of 801s (I wear them all the time and wear them out!) and I'm sure it won't be the last! I am a teacher and on my "dress down" days, they are the most important part of my wardrobe! They are the most comfortable sport shoe I've ever worn and since I love backless shoes, they are a must!

This is my second pair! I really love my 801s. They are so quick to slip into. I call them my garage shoes - the fit is snug and supportive.

Loved this shoe - I loved the pink & grey pair I had. I wore them regularly especially for the comfort and easy slip on and off. Unfortunately, one of my pups loved them too and ate the top part off one of the shoes, so I plan on getting another pair. Wish I could afford several at a time!

Really comfortable - Very comfortable shoes to wear all day as long as you order a size bigger. Size is really off on this brand of shoe. Not my first pair of this design and had to send the first pair back twice to get a comfortable fit.

Uncomfortable! Very cute shoes (I have the tan) but extremely uncomfortable. Way too tight and I wear regular width all the time.

Combine a sneaker and a sandal, and what do you get? This great shoe from New Balance! I wear these all the time now. Just soo comfortable. Good Shock resistance, good arch support and yet I feel like I'm in sandals with the open heal. I've never had a problem with them slipping either.

My doctor recommended New Balance but I hate lace-ups...These were a smart move for NB! I now have 3 pairs of 801s and love for people to stop me and say "Where did you GET those shoes?!"

Good, Comfortable Sneaker - I wanted a sneaker with no heel because I have a heel spur, and these definitely fit the bill, and look good too (tan). They're a little tight in width, but then I do have a somewhat wide foot. Other than that they're very comfortable and look great with jeans.

Good buy - I am glad I read the reviews before purchasing; otherwise the shoe would have probably been too small. They seem to run a 1/2 size small, but the wide width was accurate.

I just love my New Balance 801's, they are so comfortable. I have a size 12W foot, and I can't find anything in stores. I was told about Zappos, I checked them on line and I found what I wanted right away. I was afraid to order them at first, but I am so glad I did. They arrived at my home the very next day (which in it's self is amazing) but they actually fit perfect. I definitely will order more when I need to. Both companies are just great.

Comfortable slide shoe. Great for wearing around town and running errands. Easy on and off. Marked as wide, but doesn't feel like a wide shoe to me.

Great no hassle, slip-on sneaker - I love these shoes! I was looking for something I could walk/commute that weren't flip-flops and weren't dress shoes to get "messed up", and didn't require socks or ties ... these were perfect for no complications, and people in a hurry and walking a lot like me. I've tried different kinds of sneaker slip-ons, like Nike, and Reebok - the style wasn't what I was looking for. I had to return the first pair of these because it ran half a size too small and my heel kept hitting the back, but the 1/2 size bigger was perfect. A little tight at first, but no blisters or tender spots to speak of. They get better the more I walk in them. Good arch support - not too much, not too little.

I LOVE these. They are so comfortable. The arch support is just enough and they are a great summer shoe. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cute casual sneaker.

Walking Shoes - I bought these for walking. I like to be able to slip into my shoes easily - and these are perfect. I have walked and don't know that I don't have on my regular walking shoes. I love them.

A very comfortable shoe! I like the slip on style for a trendy look and it is great for walking.

My favorite athletic shoe of all time--I have 3 pairs of this style. Comfortable, does not come off my foot even with the mule style. I have a fairly high instep and the stretchy top does not hurt me. Order half size larger than you wear in regular shoes.

Extremely pleased. Not a big sneaker wearer. Was looking for a casual look for the summer with capris but yet provided support. This sneaker fit the bill. Extremely comfortable and my feet are hard to fit. Just took a couple days for the top of the sneaker to stretch and mold to my foot. My fiancé has remarked that he thinks it is the first pair of sneakers I will actually wear out. Highly recommend for casual wear.

New Balance W801 - I love this shoe. They provide good support to wear all day. They're my go to shoe, even at the end of the day. I have them in several colors...very cute!
