Love The NB M574s! I bought these as walking shoe for a recent trip to NYC. They continue to impress. Super comfortable. Dig the black on black style. Excellent fit and support. Highly recommend this shoe.

Love this shoe! This shoe is just simply THE BEST! It is so comfortable that I actually forget that I am wearing them. That is one of the best compliments that I can give any shoe. I am a nurse and on my feet for long hours. I have them in several colors and feel that I have found the perfect shoe for my wide foot. It is great for just walking, shopping or running errands. I just love mine and I practically live in them. I plan to buy even more since there are a lot of great colors. And as always Zappos is the best for fast delivery as well as customer service.

Fabulous shoe! I grew up in New Balance shoes and will most likely be buried in them. The 574 is why. Durable, super-comfortable, reliable and mucho stylish. Really, what else could you ask for? Slip on a pair of these and your feet will fall in love with you.

Just what I wanted - I saw these first in a store and had a rat race trying to find my size. Then it hit me...Zappos! Not only did they have my size...they came overnight! I wanted a dark brown shoe for fall and winter with the comfort of sneakers without looking too much like one. These are great. I gave them a four for comfort because the back is a little high and rubs my heel (with low socks). I think it is because it is a men's shoe. They are also a little stiff...that should be fixed with a little more wearing in. Overall I am very happy with these shoes!

My favorite shoe - Was looking for this one in blue for 6 months. For some reason no one had them at all, only black and silver...These are the most comfortable shoes and I’ve had about 3 pair since 2002. I would recommend them over any of my other pairs of shoes any day.

New Balance Classics M574 are great for campus - They are exactly what I wanted. They fit great and are way more comfortable than my last pair of shoes. I am a student who lives way on the edge of campus and these shoes have made my long walk way better than it used to be. Now my feet don’t hurt half as bad.

Old school New Balance, you complete me. Look, I'm going to cut right to the chase. New Balance 574's are the best shoes there are. Just look at that big bold N on the side. That N says, "I know what I want out of a sneaker." These shoes are comfortable, look great, aren't that expensive and they come in a variety of colors. I have a closet full of New Balance 574's in all sorts of different colors. You just can't go wrong with the 574's my friend.

What a shoe! True to size and width...excellent arch support...I love buying shoes this way... accommodates the orthotics I wear...

New Balance Classics M574 - The New Balance Classics M574 is a great shoe. This shoe looks great and is trendy but is also very comfortable. Wear it walking, to a game, or even to the bar. I would say this shoe is as near perfect as it can be.

All black!! My work uniform requires all black sneakers. These fit the bill. even the soles are totally black. These New Balances have saved me a world grief! Even with a few catsup and beer spills they still look pristine.

Old skool suede - I've been wearing the suede New Balance since I was 16 (that's 16 years!). I started with the 587s for my arch support, but since they don't make those in suede anymore, these are a swell substitute. And fly to boot. The ladies love em.

Perfect fit - My teenage son only wears skateboard shoes, so when he decided to buy a less bulky shoe for everyday wear he had a hard time finding something that didn't look like a running shoe. He did the research, found the shoe, and off we went to the sporting goods shops - no one had the size or color. Enter Zappos... in stock, easy return if needed. Perfect. The shoes fit perfectly and came in 2 days! You have a loyal customer.

Felt at least a size too small - ...which is odd, seeing as I've bought other New Balances in my size (12) and never had trouble. They felt a little snug when I put them on and I was convinced that they just needed to be broken in. The only result after a few hours of walking around was excruciating toe pain. (Most people probably would have just returned the shoes right away; clearly, that's what I should have done.) I'm sure it's a great shoe beyond the weird sizing issue.

Old school cool! The New Balance Classicss M574 line is great with a terrific assortment of colors to choose from. You'll find it hard to buy just one pair! This is an extremely comfortable shoe and looks great with jeans, khakis, and shorts as well. Definitely more of a casual lifestyle shoe though, I wouldn't workout in them.

Great shoe. I owned a pair of these back in the 70s and they lasted forever. Decided to try them again. Love the look. Extremely comfortable. I hope these last just as long. Also, I wear a size 14, not very easy to find. Found them here!

Great Shoes! Where are the 15s? These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I always choose these ones to wear while traveling (especially on long flights). The durability and normal wear and tear that these endure goes above and beyond other shoes. My one complaint for now is… can I get another pair in size 15? They seemed to have skipped it.

Trusty New Balance - I've always enjoyed wearing New Balances. They fit my feet perfectly and provide great support for my very flat feet. I especially like the M574 because it has a cool retro feel that I appreciate. I suggest this shoe to anyone that wants a high quality, good looking, and comfortable shoe that will last for a long time.

A review from Haystack - The fit and finish is very good quality for their price. I usually wear NB's because so many of their styles are available in wide. I usually find that I need to order a half size up for proper fit. Roomy enough for orthotics.

Comfortable shoe - Very comfortable shoe, I order a 14 wide instead of a 15 like I usually do in a Nike shoe, because overall I think new balance shoe sizes are larger then other shoe companies.

Showstopper! My husband wanted some casual athletic shoes that didn't scream "tennis shoes." These are super comfortable and the navy is sharp...understated but very distinct styling and color. The two-materials are exactly matched and they combine to create a look which is awesome with jeans, khaki pants, chinos, etc. He wore them Day One with no pinching, no rubbing and he said they gave great arch support and cushion to his foot. They look great, and of course Zappos delivered them the day after I ordered them. Do they have a shop in my neighborhood? They should use the tagline "Your Neighborhood Shoe Store" because it was as though they had walked across the street, the shoes came that fast!

Nice shoe - Not very breathable and so-so cushioning. I just buy these cause everyone else does not because they're great shoes.

A classic is a classic... Good looking, comfy, classic sneaker. Nice that the wide-footed can find something cool too.
