Thank god they are back - I remember owning these shoes over 10 years ago. Then they discontinued the line. I searched all over online and could not find this model. These have been the best pair of new balance I have owned. I am so glad they reissued them. Thanks!!!

New Balance Review - I just bought these shoes and they are incredibly comfortable ever since I bought them they are always on my feet plus they look resistant to everyone who's hesitating to buy them just do it it's worth it.

I like this shoe. A little stiff at first but very comfortable. A good shoe. Will last a long time.

Must have!! If you have flat feet these are a must!! Probably the best shoe out there and the style is awesome! The best thing is that I haven't seen a single person with this style either

Just as expected - This is my son's second pair. He wears them until they fall apart and loves them. True to size and look ok with shorts and trousers.

A Night On The Town - I needed a new pair of shoes to wear on tour and did not want the same old Con's or my beat up NB's. Low and behold and all black and GLOSSY version on a classic. Not meant as athletics, they do hold up to 6 shows in 7 days and miles and miles of mean NYC streets. If you like black and maybe the NY Dolls than these are for you.

First Pair of New Balance, Extremely Satisfied!! This is the first time I bought New Balance shoes. I wanted a pair of shoes that would be comfortable and look good. I like the retro look. They need a week or two to break and once they do they are very comfy. I would have liked even more cushion but I think it is a good balance between comfort and durability. I have had other shoes in the style and they start to show signs that they will not age well. These look great with Jeans and I can wear them all day with little fatigue!! I am very satisfied. Zappos sent them to me in a day with free shipping!! Can't beat it!!

A comfortable fit right from the start! The NB Classics is a great style that goes with jeans or shorts. It fit great right from day one but if you have a wider foot you may want to go with the wider size. I've always found that most NB athletic shoes need no breaking in period. A great shoe for bike riding.

New Balance - great shoe! Best fitting and most comfortable shoe I ever owned. Due to my foot surgery, I cannot wear any other shoe. PLEASE continue to carry the New Balance Classics M574, especially in 7 wide.

His feet thank you!! I purchased both the navy and gray New Balance Classic's M574 for my son. He has worn the M574 style for several years. He had looked other places for this shoe, but was unable to find them. I found them on your website and ordered them immediately. He is on his feet on concrete floors every day. He says the M574's are very comfortable and do not scream athletic shoe. He has thanked me over and over for finding them.

Just rec. them today...super fast shipping-ty Zappos!! I have just received them today and I think the grey with the black "N" highlighted with the red behind it looks great. They are snug for a "2E" and I am sure that as I wear them they will shape my foot like all the New Balance that I have had. I wanted to comment on the shipping that I rec. from Zappos.com. I ordered these on a Saturday and rec. them on a Monday...who does that for free? No one that I know. That by itself will make me come back for another purchase. I look forward to wearing these and buying more for my collection. They look great, feel great and I am sure they will feel awesome, in the very near future. I wear New Balance as a result of ankle surgery and you can't go wrong with ANY pair really. Enjoy.

Wonderful shoes - My boyfriend got these shoes because he was looking for a comfortable tennis shoe. New Balances are always a safe bet, and these shoes are amazing. They fit wonderfully and look very stylish.

Very nice - It's great to finally get a pair of shoes the right length that doesn’t taper practically to a point! I like these sneaks a lot. They still don’t conform the best,(wish some one would have really gotten through to me about posture and pronation!)But they're the best I've found in years. Also, it's great to order something and get it the next day free of charge! Don't know how they do it, but I hope it catches on!

Second pair. Great shoe. I've got relatively big feet. I'm a size 15-16 depending on the width of the shoe. Until about 7 months ago when I decided to give NB and Zappos a try, I was stuck wearing shoes that were generally too large for my feet. I got a pair of size 16 2E M574 and fell in love with them instantly. The most comfortable, all-purpose shoe I've ever worn. I just ordered a second pair, this time 15 2E for a slightly more snug fit. I received them 12 hours after I ordered. I still need to break them in, but I love them. Thank you Zappos.

574 is a fun shoe - This is my second pair of NB 574s. My first was navy blue in a 12 D, and now I have grey ones in a 13 2E. All in all a great shoe design. I think they look great and are simple but cool looking. They are fairly rugged sneakers- I wore my old blue ones all the time: streets, mud, mountains. They held up pretty well. One weak spot from the old ones was the reflective logo on the back heel - it got bent up and started cracking and peeling. Not sure if that will happen again. Generally comfortable but I ended up putting Dr. Scholls gel in my old ones. My older pair was made in the US - I wish more of them were. Also, I'm not sure whose fault this is, but the first time these came from Zappos the size inside the NB box was wrong- label said 13 2E but inside were like 11.5. Got the right size the next day. These shoes fit my wide flat foot well, and I think will probably mold to other feet. These shoes are good if you just want one pair of sneakers to wear all the time.

Comfy runner, casual shoe - Not a whole lot of arch support, but very comfortable padding and insole. Stable enough for running on flat paths (no rocks).

Dah, we should have looked to Zappos first. My son dragged me all over for these shoes. He had his heart set on them and we couldn't find them anywhere. I finally asked him to look on Zappos. He had a difficult time locating them but with my help we were successful. He loves these sneakers and I love Zappos.

On my second pair. The first pair of these I bought about 4 years ago and they lasted through 2 years of living in NYC (tons of miles walking) and another 2 of regular kind of walking. They break in nicely and the sole lasts FOREVER. They are also some of the most comfortable shoes for walking I've ever owned. I usually just walked in these (no running), but the sole is 4 years old and now that I have bought my new pair I have compared soles, and the 4+ year olds show so little wear it just amazes me. I can still see the pebbly marks that the flat parts of the sole have. In fact, the sole is more rotted than worn out. The side of the shoe, just below my little toe seems to have a hard area though. And it can be pretty painful especially right now since they're new. I think someone else has complained about this. My old ones were 11s so I didn't feel that pain, but these are 10.5s and while they fit the length of my foot better, they feel a lot narrower. The uppers wear out regularly though. And since its suede, they get dark patches (instead of scuffs) were you've worn them out. Other than that, this second pair definitely won't be my last.

Finally.... Finally I was able to obtain a "classic" looking New Balance shoe in grey that fits well...true to size in wide width. It's a little stiff on the sole especially if you are used to other more pliant models (608 or 992). But that may improve as it breaks in.

The best shoes ever - The title of the review says it all. These shoes simply put are the best shoes ever. They are extremely comfortable and look ridiculously cool. I just bought my fourth pair and I am going strong.

Shoes worth the wait - I am glad to finally get the shoes cause I waited a few months for my size to come in....worth the wait.

The New Favorite - Almost everyone has worn them at some point and for good reason. Sizing is relatively on point. They're comfortable; however, there is a hard and sometimes painful area of the stiff spine inside the shoe that digs into my outer arch. It could be that I have flat arches, or that the shoe isn't broken in yet, or that there was some random misplacement of the spine. They tend to soak up water. With that being said, I'm still wearing them and have ditched my Saucony's.

Look small - Sneaker looks smaller on than most other sneakers for whatever reason. Maybe because it's all black?

Deep chocolate Newbie’s - You know already that New Balances are comfortable. The arches of my feet are right at home lifted up on these soles. They keep my legs fresh all day. The look however was not quite what I expected. The triple browns end up looking more like outdoorsy, low-top hikers than urban sneaks. The "N" looks too plastic, too shiny on the modest brown suede. Great shoes, just not as stylish as I was expecting.
