I really love these new shoes. I've been a New Balance wearer for years now, ever since a back injury which greatly effects my walking and standing. My orthopedic doctor recommended New Balance shoes, and I have been using them ever since. NOTE: These don't have New Balance's ABZORB cushioning in them, but I still find them to be very comfortable and love the styling.

I ordered the gray shoes, but they are a different shade of gray from what is in the picture. They are more of a tan color. They are comfortable, but I am not happy with the color.

I used to wear the 993's but I saw these and tried them out. They are comfortable and the look really great. They are tough and durable. I wear them at work and I stand on my feet all of the time. You won't go wrong with these shoes. I highly recommend them.

Good looking, really comfortable, good price and come in wide. Nothing else to ask for!

Zappos.com is an awesome company. I ordered Two pairs of swim shorts and my favorite shoes, they came the next day and I didn't even place my order until like three in the afternoon and they were at my house by noon the next day. They also have an awesome return policy if you need it, though I don't think you will need it.

Size 14 runs a little small, though the width is generous. Very comfortable and roomy in the toes. Love them. Life is more fun when your feet feel good.

Zappos performed above and beyond as they always do. The shoes showed up in excellent condition and are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Have been buying New Balance from Zappos for almost 10 years, got the Army Green M574 when it was on sale. Had them for only six months and the suede upper tore at the seam with the sole. Very disappointed.

Great fitting and comfortable shoe. I have wide feet and not easy to find shoes that fit well, these do.

I bought these shoes for my husband -- they are his favorite. He has had at least 4 pairs of the same shoes and does not want another shoe for casual wear. Hope New Balance continues to make them for years to come!

With my last pair of NB Classics, I was able to order half a size up to accommodate my wide foot. This time I ordered half a size up but the shoes were still too narrow for me.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit right. Usually anything but skateboard shoes are too narrow. These fit great. They look great, better than the online pics. Very comfortable. Zappos is great, I'll be buying another pair sometime.

Great shoes, absolutely great. Fit well, very comfortable. Go well with dark jeans or shorts (with low black socks of course).

I purchase the Black/Red type. the show looks and feels great! Im happy with my first New Balance and Zappos purchase.

The price was right, the time it took to get here was impressive, the shoes fit and feel terrific. What more could one ask for. Thanks, great job.

Beware, these are no longer made in the USA! I owned a pair for the last 9 years that was the best pair of shoes I ever had. Purchased these and they're made in China now. I could accept that if the quality was similar but it's not. Gaps in the gluing of the soles, misfitting and poorly cut, cheaper materials everywhere, and to top it all off, the right shoe's heel was over 1/8" thicker than the left making them unusable. Returned them and will be very reluctant to ever buy New Balance again.

These are my first New Balance shoes in ages, and I can't believe I've never run into M574's earlier. They're very comfortable and they look great. These shoes are not heavy either. Will be buying another pair.

Very comfortable. In fact it's the only tennis shoe I've ever fit into perfectly because I have wide feet. But I can't stand the design. Why are all New Balance designs plagued by the gigantic 'N'? (and a raised heel). These looks like girl's walking shoes. They're too loud, cute and almost platforms.

Very comfortable shoe with a lot of support. Usually the first thing I do is go out and buy gel inserts, didn't have to do that with these shoes. I use them for walking up and down hills , going to the gym, etc. Lots and lots of walking and I haven't noticed my feet getting tired at all (they're good shoes if you don't notice them, IMO) The size seems true, My feet are pretty large (14) and by no means skinny, but the regular width fits just fine.

I ordered this size because I have a well-fitting New Balance another type. This particular model seems smaller than the other 9.5 2E. It is also a bit hot for summer wear. I have taken out the insole for the moment and that gives a decent fit and more coolness.

Very light shoe, good for running but I wouldn't go hiking in these they are fairly thin material so I imagine they would get destroyed easily on rough terrain. Buy 'em if you are just going to pound the pavement.

This is definitely one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've been looking to find something this comfortable for years since my old pair of campers had to retire. It's comfortable all around from the first time you put it on. There is no warm up period. It's quite soft on the sole. I also like that you can easily remove the inner sole in case you want to use a custom one. highly recommended.

Great shoe. I wear it as an all around casual shoe. It doesn't seem like it would be good for athletic use(long distance running, sprinting, etc.) but I don't think that is what it is designed for. It's exactly what I expected.

Classic New Balance! They fit great and last forever. Very comfortable, second pair in a row I've bought, I'm now a lifer!

My husband loves the shoes! Very comfortable. They do fit a little snug, so order the wide size. Otherwise, we love Zappos and the return, exchange policy. It was so easy!
