I bought these shoes because of the other great reviews they had on Zappos and because my old shoes would break within two to four months. These shoes have held up well and are still as comfortable as they were when I got them out of the box. These are a well made and wonderful shoe which is why they got five stars in every category.

Shoes feel true to size but wider than expected great shoes except for the super long laces.

Three times this shoe has separated from the sole. I'm not going to return these again...but I won't be purchasing anymore New Balances for a while. Just because something is inexpensive doesn't mean the quality has to be poor. Other than that, this shoe always got compliments from friends and old people.

Great shoe, Third time to get one of these New Balance Classics. I usually get the wide, but as it hasn't been available the last two times I've purchased, I got the regular width and have found that the shoe expands rather comfortably to the foot after 2 or 3 days and is just as comfortable as a wide.

The shoes are great. It's nice to find ones that fit me. The order came very quickly, and the shipping charges are so reasonable. I will use Zappos often.

I have worn New Balance sneakers for years and they are the best. This style M574 are all I use because of the SL2 feature which gives extra toe room. Also Zappos is a great place to do business.

I bought these shoes to specifically wear in the hospital while I work. They're never worn outside otherwise. After roughly 1 month light wear, the inside edge of the shoe by my big toe decided to blow out. The shoe material basically started to separate from the sole. Right now, I've got a pair of shoes that really can't be worn because the one shoe is falling apart. I would not recommend this sneaker after this experience.

Great shoes - a little narrow for the typical NB 'D' width, but overall good casual sneakers. I have had several pairs of the 574 over the years and they are pretty consistent.

Nice shoe for the price. But it does not breathe well. Perhaps a better shoe for the winter but not the summer.

I have had these shoes for about 1 month and I have to say that I'm extremely happy with them. I decided to get a Montrail Enduro-Sole to put in them, and the combination of the two has made for the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I work in event production, spending many hours a day on my feet, and when I get home after work my feet, legs & back feel great. The look of these shoes is actually more interesting in person then the pictures let on. I'm totally in love with the color.

These shoes are super fresh. Not gonna find a better price or service on the net or in the stores even for that matter.

Very light and comfortable. I ordered this style in two color combination Black/Grey/White and Black/Red. The Black/Red pair looks much better than in the image. This pair is stylist but not flashy. I finally chose this although normally I prefer black/white. Thanks Zappos very much for their convenient service; they even upgrades my shipping time frame order although it is free-shipping.

They're not as good as I was hoping for casual running, but they're nice enough for general wear.

Great shoes. Normal fit i.e. true to size. Very comfortable. They are great for running on paved surfaces, but not good for trails. I mostly bought them for playing with my kids and kicking around on a Saturday. This is the third pair of 754 I've owned.

I love this shoe for its style, comfort and great price. However the upper part of my shoes tore away from the sole within a few days. This was totally upsetting, but Zappos refunded me.

This shoe is typical of New Balance. True to size and very comfortable. So far,they have always been long wearing.

These are too tight, too small, too everything that is not the right size. Very disappointed because these were looked forward to!

I keep coming back to 574s, just good comfortable supportive shoes, for a great price. These look great and I have gotten compliments on 'em. The reflective trim is nice just in case I'm walking around at night in low light. The only thing I didn't like when I got these was there was a little piece of patent leather trim but its not noticeable when being worn. I've got another pair of 574s I have worn for almost 8 years off and on and they're as comfortable as ever, just finally wearing down on the sole.

I ordered the wrong size because I guess me feet are bigger than they used to be. Zappos paid the freight to return them and ship the correct size and even shipped the replacements 2nd day air. I like the idea of shopping locally but the selection, price and ease of doing business will keep me shopping at Zappos.
